I’m quite new to the Robeson fandom. I was wondering if you could recommend any really good fanfictions?

Oh my god, anon there are so many incredible ones. I will absolutely leave some off because there's just too many. The Robron tag has some of the most incredible fic writers. Incredible. Here are a few of my favorites. Also I'm on mobile and can't get the links to attach so I will just give you some of my all time favorites. Again, sorry that I can't get the links to attach. The fics below are all AU's but there are plenty of amazing canon fics as well. These are just the ones I've read an embarrassing amount of times.

Both Sides of the Moon (by softlyspoken). Anything by this writer needs to be read. Absolutely incredible writer. I have read this particular fic more times than I can count. It's an all time fav.

Stay Awhile and Listen (by exploring_in_space) again this is an all time fav. There's a lovely little line in this fic that has lived rent free in my brain for years now. Bliss. There is also a first chapter to a sequel of this fic available and it's a must read as well.

Out of the Blue (by raelee514) the entire Blue Verse is worth reading. All are amazing. Again all of this author's works are a must read.

When You Know.....You Know (by ScrapyardBoyfriends) also an incredible artist. Give a follow on Tumblr to check out the art.

I didn’t want to post this publicly, my reason for not liking cheating Aaron is two ex’s cheated on me. The idea that there are a few men who don’t cheat is nice, I hope Emmerdale won’t change that too. If you read the new soulmate fic “inextricably yours” by softlyspoken.. I just read it over the weekend and was shocked to see the bias and hate towards Aaron because it was believed he was ‘cheating on someone’ with Rob. I think there is very much a double standard, that I myself have. I wouldn’t ever be mean in someone’s comments though. I think a lot of fans have a spike ready for Aaron. Adding to existing dislike, the new show version of him is not likable nor lovable and it leaves a bitter taste even in fic. Try not to take it personally 🥴

I think for me, the reason I see Aaron’s behavior as just as bad as cheating is because in my misspent youth, I was twice the other woman. One time I didn’t know, but one time I did, and when I look back on that time in my life I’m pretty disgusted with myself. I wasn’t cheating on anyone but I was enabling an innocent girl to be cheated on, and that’s pretty shitty of me. And yet, in the land of fiction, I find Aaron and Robert’s story to be high romance. It makes no sense basically. They both did shitty things. They both hurt people. Their love was a bright, beautiful, dumpster fire and I miss it greatly.

Reunion 3.0 AU. In this reality, Sarah is still alive and standing up for Robert against a certain villager while he is in prison as well as supporting Aaron. Adam and Aaron have opened up a taxi business and who is the lucky (or is it unlucky) first client for Aaron… Robert! Let’s just say it’s not like at first sight or even second sight. But Robert continues to pop us as that dick client until little things start to seep out giving tiny hints that Robert is more than his usual annoying self. But it’s still very much more cold than hot most times but a drunken kiss shifts things between the two. Robert is deflecting (more like running) and threatening while Aaron sees him as a coward hiding from himself. Something’s got to give but what?

inextricably yours by softlyspoken - robron soulmate AU - An AU take on Robert coming back to mess with Andy and Katie's wedding. The author changed some aspects of canon, but it worked really well. I enjoyed it a lot.

The Relic series by Maz Maddox - A mlm romance series about a team of dinosaur shifters who rescue stolen fossils and fall in love along the way. With a diverse and interesting cast of characters, it's a fun read.

Hidden Agenda, ep 8-9 - A single episode stalker plot was a [baffling] choice. Why was that not spread out from the moment Joke started hanging around Zo more? It could have been in the background this whole time and the payoff would have been much much bigger and much more interesting.

My Journey To You - Favorite show I'm watching right now. I'm going to be sad when it's over (and not only because the plot seems to be the kind that ends in tears).

Only Friends - Particularly good episode this week.

Taikan Yoho (My Personal Weatherman) - The intimacy work these two actors are doing is so good. Contrasting all the physical communication with not enough verbal communication made for an extremely interesting episode to watch, if slightly frustrating, because as usual Yoh is so hesitant and keeps all his words inside.
