I understand Garp, I truly do. But personally if my grandson were about to be executed just for existing after years of asking himself if he deserves to live, idk, I think I would've gone on a fucking rampage and had killed everybody

Last night at work a coworker asked if I was strong enough to pick her up and I scooped her up in my arms princess style and immediately felt the indescribable queer power of a thousand butches of a thousand genders well up in me. My god. My god! People become immediately so precious and important when you carry them in your arms!!!

Your influence in this world doesn't need to be all-encompassing and World Changing. It can be small ripples. It can be gentle and easily missed.
Let yourself do small things. So often, people have this idea that to do "good things," it must be a grand gesture that changes every little thing. Honestly, that can be so intimidating and scary. We weren't meant to carry the world by ourselves. We each contribute, often in small ways, often in ways that aren't seen by everybody. But the people you affect might just take that kindness you gave them and let it light them home. Let yourself be that in whatever way you want. You don't need to carry the world alone.

the way that this whole idea w the distribution of bijuus was executed by the kage (at least in konoha) was literally so fucking stupid. like uhhh. what if we sealed this super weapon into a small child but then taught that child absolutely NOTHING abt how to handle it. like. how is this even supposed to work? the bijuus are distributed between the villages to give them military power. but how will that work if the kid cant even control the power?? doesnt even KNOW theyre a jinchuuriki in the first place maybe even??? lol. are they just hoping that in case the village gets attacked, the kid will just magically start gaining control over the power and then use it to protect it? makes zero sense if im honest asfsfgfds

so i’m pretty tired of feeling like i’m just supposed to take this and let it go because everyone’s busy but like. if i write you a meme reply here or on @clawsextended i’m asking you to at least like it so i know you saw it.
i don’t care if you want to continue it or not. i’d always prefer to, but i never expect it. it’s not out of the realm of politeness just to ask someone acknowledges that i wrote them something.

i think something people forget about pink diamond is that she had compassion for life long before she went to earth
the pebbles assume steven is pink not because of his gem or aura but just because he says ‘hello’ and ‘thank you’ to them, a basic common courtesy that nobody else has given them in thousands of years
in steven’s pink visions, blue is yelling at pink about the little bugs she let loose on homeworld. when one of them is found in her cell, she is quick to check it’s okay before helping it out of the room. even before encountering humans she valued organic life.
even the garden, the setting of pink’s cruellest moment, is proof of her care for organic life. Unlike every other part of homeworld, the garden is teeming with plant-life, which was kept healthy enough that it continued to grow even after pink abandoned it. the only other homeworld structure that tends to organic life is the human zoo. who’s to say the garden wasn’t another attempt by the other diamonds to placate pink after she expressed concern for the life on one of their colonies? or maybe pink picked the plants herself from the many different colonies she visited and grew them there.
pink wasn’t perfect. she had a bad habit of acting on her emotions and impulses without considering the consequences of her actions, and she hurt a lot of people because of it. but she considered all life precious and worth protecting, it just wasn’t until she had a colony of her own that she fully understood that the expansion of homeworld was intrinsically linked to the destruction of life, and the moment she realised that is the moment she stood against it.

i keep looking at posts like "i stopped a binge" "i prevented a binge" and all of them are like. "i waited until the urge went away". buddy. the urge doesn't go away. there's no urge. there's just nothing else to do. i don't have anything else to do. every time i stop eating no matter how long i sit with the feeling or not, i always go for more food because there is genuinely nothing else in my life. nothing is enjoyable anymore. the world sucks. no matter what i force myself to do it's the only positive thing i can ever find.

#so true hiro.... Zeus is sooo 😢😢😢❤️❤️❤️❤️#gods#i wonder. does jay ever get upset / irritated of any sorts at Zeus's attitude?
//tl;dr, not really! jay finds zeus absolutely hilarious and finds it hard to take him seriously (most of the time). she thinks he's got a good heart, so even though she (playfully) bullies him relentlessly, she's never, like, too harsh on him. she'd never consider dating him or anything, but zeus is one of the first people she hits up during sleepless nights so they can talk about pretty much everything.

I cannot believe that some of my coworkers and even my boss who has worked in assisted living for decades will outright talk about how “unbelievable” (negative) it is that someone will walk with a cane when they TECHNICALLY can walk without one, or act like it’s bad that one of our residents who TECHNICALLY can walk with a cane uses a wheelchair most of the time. How do you not understand the basics of disability. And do you really have so little respect for disabled people and the people we are supposed to be taking care of and showing dignity that you’re willing to be talking about them like this behind their backs in our staff meeting like a bunch of juvenile high schoolers????
