you have to really learn with gacha games but really with anything in your life that as soon as something you used to enjoy doing feels like a chore or it’s stressing you out more than adding joy you can just quit. be a quitter. it’s literally fine. this is why things like FOMO and by extension ranking in events doesn’t bother me all that much anymore because it’s like…. as soon as i stop feeling like a certain thing isn’t a priority in my life i will literally just stop. and be okay with it.

the main reasons i’m challenging myself to get under 100 for this event ranking is because 1. i find it fun as of rn 2. this week is going to be a really stressful week for me for a myriad of reasons and i need something that will be a motivator for me to continue getting up in the morning and 3. of course because at the end of the day i’m a loser neet otaku who’s hopelessly dependent on their oshis so when there’s an event with an oshi in it during a time that i actually WANT to rank in an event i might as well take advantage of it and have fun while i can.

but as i said this week is going to be really stressful for me and if at any point the event starts to feel like a miserable experience, i will stop.

btw i could turn this into an entire conversation about how i think people should start thinking and talking about gacha games because i’m admittedly kinda sick of the way people on this website talk about gambling in games as someone who genuinely has been addicted to gacha games in the past. i find almost all hot takes about gacha games on this website incredibly unhelpful and unproductive at best and shamelessly cruel at worst. but i won’t because like i’m soooo tired rn so tired and sleepy and i want to focus on more fun things like how my wrist pain is killing me and it Hurts. （╹◡╹）
