How did the turtles become villains in your villainess brothers au?

Buckle up time for some lore >:D

Admittedly however, I’m still working on it, so what I’m about to write can change over time, other than that enjoy my infodump

It’s actually not a matter of the turtles starting as good guys and ending up as villains, they’re the villains of the story to begin with

How so tho?

Let’s say the Krang didn’t stop at corrupting Oroku Saki

Karai’s story is pretty much the same, of her starting her own clan and calling it the Hamato clan, she banishes Shredder and herself to the twilight realm

That however leaves the rest hopeless, an opening the krang took to strike to corrupt them as well, so instead of the Hamato becoming a clan of Honor that keeps watch for the Shredder and keep peace, they’ve technically become another Foot clan that seeks destruction

So while Splinter’s story is mostly the same, he gets raised under completely different circumstances, instead of being raised to defeat Shredder one day, he’s taught that Shredder could become a valuable ally if released, or their enemy that they should destroy, and by extent destroy the Foot with him, whichever Shredder chooses (if you’re not with me you’re against me mindset between the Hamatos and the Foot)

Splinter story is pretty much the same afterwards, he becomes a star, gets kidnapped by Big Mama then Draxum, sees the turtles and his hearts warms up to them, immediately adopting them, eventually leading to his and the Turtles’ mutation

He raises the turtles the same way he’s raised, still a loving father, but not a great role model or a great teacher when it comes to what’s morally correct or wrong, and with Draxum’s genetic engineering of them to eventually become warriors, and their situation of being mutants, as well as the fact Big Mama is still out there, Splinter taught them to do what it takes to protect each other even if it means taking the lives of others

Teaching them that only the strong remains, and that subconsciously makes the turtles’ outlook towards life and the world negative, that the world is out to get them, so they should be out to get the world first, that eventually leads to their moral values to mush and the line of what’s good/bad or right/wrong very fuzzy to them

That obviously influences their personalities in negative ways, hence why Mikey is a lot more aggressive and openly angry for example

Cause to them? As long as they keep each other safe/ happy and get what they need/ want, then there’s nothing more they care to do

In short, the Krang may have lost the battle but they won the war

Leaving Jungkook speechless is something you excel at.

When you walk into a room in nothing but a pair of red lace lingerie and perch yourself on his thighs. When you push him against a wall and gaze directly into his doe eyes with a hungry look in your own irises. Honestly, Jungkook often loses all ability to form words when it comes to you.

Right now is one of those instances, but it’s different this time. You aren’t fooling around, you aren’t about to engage in a heated night tangled in the sheets together. You aren’t even in the room and you still manage to leave him dumbstruck.

When Jungkook came to your apartment after work, you were already in the shower. He didn’t mean to see it, but when your phone lit up with a message from someone whose contact is only a smiley devil emoji, curiosity got the best of him.

He must have been standing there for half an hour, unmoving and unable to process the visual and the words on your screen.

“Jungkook, what’s wrong? Why are you crying?”

He whirls around, not realizing that tears were streaming down his face, collecting at his chin and falling onto his shirt. He can’t think. Every single word that he has learned since birth, wiped clean at the sight of the messages on your phone.

The stranger, whom Jungkook could only associate with a purple emoji and a shirtless chest next to your half naked body in the photos attached in the text thread, obliterated Jungkook’s entire world with three words and an emoticon.

He opens his mouth only for silence to continue enveloping the space between you and him. His throat is dry, his eyes sting too much with the burn that accompanies tears, and his heart… doesn’t seem to be there anymore. Caged in by his ribs, where it should be. No, it’s lost somewhere inside his own body, as if it’s hiding from the blow that will inevitably come when the two of you part.

Taehyung and Jimin—the people that Jungkook trusts with his life—they’ve warned him before, haven’t they? They’ve tried to talk him out of this relationship more times than he can count; they’ve told him that you were bad news, that you would only destroy him in the end, although perhaps the thrill of it—the imminent danger that he has always found excitement in—was what pushed him to pursue you.

His friends wanted the best for him, but he only wanted you.

And look where that got him?

The things you said to the other man—the pure filth that you promised you would do to him if you were there—made Jungkook sick to his stomach. You always did have a way with words, luring people in with honey dripping from your voice.

How foolish of him to think he was worth something to you. Special. Different.

It’s clear that he’s just another body to keep you warm at night. That makes him even more humiliated that you’re watching him cry.

You step closer and put a hand on his chest. “Hey, tell me what’s wrong.”

His body flinches away from your touch before his mind can even recover. He hands the phone back to you and takes a breath, as difficult of a task as it is right now.

“It was open,” he mumbles weakly, wiping the moisture from his cheeks with shaky fingers, “and I read it.”

You look at the device and at the incriminating evidence plastered on it. Your brows knit together slightly and you heave a sigh. Jungkook might even say you look a tad annoyed that he came across your secret.

“Jungkook, baby…”

A perfectly manicured hand reaches out to him again. The red on your nails looks like the blood flowing through his veins, pumping from his runaway heart to keep him alive. He used to consider it a privilege to have those hands on him, but now they only disgust him.

You bite your bottom lip as you stare at him. There isn’t even a trace of shame or guilt on your features. No string of apologies falling from your mouth, no begging for a chance to explain yourself, no nothing. You just look sorry that you were caught.

You don’t say anything as Jungkook begins to move around the room to angrily gather his belongings. There’s only the sound of clothes being hastily thrown into a suitcase. Pieces of himself that he’s left behind on purpose over the course of the past few months.

He doesn’t think he could handle a single word from your mouth even if you do decide to speak up. It’s the worst fucking feeling, like he’s only ever been the only person in this relationship and now that the illusion has been shattered, he’s the only person who will have to deal with the fallout. The consequences of his own recklessness and total disregard for his heart.

“You know,” he chokes out as he steps around you to get to the door. Jungkook meant to sound calm, but halfway through, he realizes that there’s probably no point to it. It wouldn’t help him preserve any dignity, because God knows how long you’ve been playing him like a fiddle. “All my friends told me you’d break my heart.”

oh man this is tough bc i kind of listen to a mix of stuff... is it cheating if i say indie?? bc technically that can cover a bunch of different types of music lol, and i'm really not a modern pop person

thought i'd get this question for sure lol. still kinda thinkin abt that role swap au i mentioned last week...

probably would take place a couple years after dina arriving in town, so they'd be about the same age as in canon

dina just showed up in town one day with her sister, and she's... kinda weird. nervous all the time, refuses to bring up her past, mostly keeps to herself and talia and nobody's actually seen her arms, what's up w that huh??

she's less angry and more sad/scared than ellie in canon tho just bc their personalities are different and i think that's more how she would react to the same circumstances ellie was put through

ellie has been living in jackson for years now with her adopted family! she's very different in some ways and completely the same in others. she's grown to be confident, friendly, impulsive and p flirty when she wants to be, but she's still a goofball and a nerd who loves a bad joke lol

she's been friends with jesse for years now and together they are jackson's most disastrous eligible bachelors lmao

same romantic confusion happened at first- dina still dated jesse for a while, ellie still dated cat, but they possibly got their shit figured out faster??  not sure abt this yet, my mental timeline for this is still fucky

long story short, while they’re both single again, dina is trying to figure her shit out abt what happened w the fireflies + her sister and ellie is just completely throwing her off (by being a huge flirt) and why is she DOING that leave her alone :( she probably doesn’t even like dina anyways... unless

one specific scene that’s stuck in my head is the idea of them having a movie night which is totally normal for them, except ellie keeps??  acting all weird??  and she’s looking at dina when she thinks she doesn’t notice and put her arm around her and,, is this flirting,, is that what this is.  send help.  dina has bigger things to worry abt than ellie and this gigantic stupid crush she has on her best friend goddamnit.  they’re probably gonna almost-kiss but it might ACTUALLY happen here idk yet (knowing me it will lol)

i wish i could do a whole long fic for this concept but there's no way, i just really don't have that kind of attention span and commitment 😔 it's one of those ideas where i wish i could just READ it magically without having to write it you know??

24. what is your favourite thing to learn about?

anything psychology related is really fascinating to me! i like knowing how things work (and don't work) up there, lol. usually it's true crime/fiction related, but i'll pretty much get into whatever. rn i'm looking into the psychology of religion a lot and it is SUPER interesting especially as someone who was raised in a pretty strict christian household.  there are a lot of common indoctrination tactics used by christianity, in particular evangelical christians, that are actually v harmful without anyone really realizing it!
