Listen as though I'm the voice of God or an angel talking to you. Telling you this room doesn't matter, this night doesn't matter. You're not inconsequential or a junkie. You're a bright young reporter with a point of view. There are stories that need to be told. If things ever get bad again, these are the words you'll hear in your mind like a tape playing over and over, like a song stuck in your brain. These words will hold you up and carry you. They are your lifeline.

TAZ Sapphic Week Day 5: Haunted
Couldn’t finish what I originally scheduled for day 5 (so itll have to be pushed back), but I still wanted to have something. So let’s have a quick experimental Lureen (if that is the ship name?) angst! Because that little scene in the GN really got me 😔✌️.
#i suppose this could also be interpreted as Lupcretia#Bc the ghostly figure is intentionally vague and distorted. So it’s up to your interpretation!#This... feels too angsty for Sapphic week. I’m sorry yall. Next days will be very cute dont worry#but then again the bingo does include Betrayal and Haunted. which are ripe for angst#taz sapphic week#taz#the adventure zone#tazb#taz balance#lucretia#maureen miller#anw. I had fun doing this. now back into my internship report woo (crying)#hopefully i will have time before i go to sleep to finish more for day 6 & 7#also I hope the ID is okay - I’m not sure how I would best describe whatever this is#is Impressionistic even the right Art Movement. Its been three years since I touched that stuff.

Another snippet ! This one is a bit more 'cleaned up' by comparison to others, as it was something almost focused on over Ice & Snow originally when I was looking for a side project to put time into between chapters of Lose/Gain. It also has what a lot of these snippets don't: A name ! Little Rabbit, Little Rabbit, How Far Can You Run? [ I'll just tag it Little Rabbit Little Rabbit or LRLRHFCYR for convenience- ] It's hard to explain this one, but if it was to be tagged up for Ao3, it would contain things like explicit blood/gore, monsters, horror, experimentation, body modification- So on so forth. It's set to be another OBKK focused fic ( of course ) but this one actually has a big dousing of KakaRin in it too. The document itself is up to a whopping 50k words, but it hasn't been touched in quite some time- But unlike some of the other ones that are taking snippets from the middle or what not, I'm actually still fairly fond of the introduction after all this time, so that's exactly what I'll be handing over now ✌️
~ Snippet starts here ~
They were on the run.
A silver haired boy with milky white skin, and a brunette girl with more of a tan and purple markings tracing bits of her body.
Both bruised, bloodied, and plagued by filth such as fresh mud and various things that had stuck to their skin like plants and debris. Soaked from head to toe.
It was cold and raining hard, each drop of water feeling more akin to a needle, but more bearable than if it had been hailing at the same rate. With wind that had been picking up and thunder in the distance that told them the storm was only going to get worse.
But it could help them hide their tracks and scent.
Something they both tried to look at as a blessing rather than a curse, knowing it made them far more difficult to catch than if it had been a clear sunny day rather than the stormy cover of night they currently had.
The pair had been pushing on through thick forest for god knows how long now. Running like their lives depended on it despite their lack of shoes and their barely clothed bodies.
Because it did.
They both stumbled, hands having been interlocked the whole time, so when one of them tripped, so did the other. Something that would keep happening, because one of them was injured, but also because they started finding themselves going uphill.
Difficult terrain that was starting to weigh on the boy.
“I can’t- I can’t run any longer! my leg, it-“
“We need to keep going! We’re going to be in trouble if they catch us!“ The girl yelled back, interrupting her friend. She didn’t want to hear it.
They didn’t have time to stop and argue.
They didn’t have any time at all.
“At this rate they’re going to catch us both if you don’t just leave me!” He cried.
She knew that. He knew it was inevitable at this point. That if she didn’t try and save herself , neither one of them were going to get away.
But she couldn’t leave him. That just wasn’t an option in her mind, not with Kakashi.
She wouldn’t abandon him. After all, she was the one who made him feel safe despite how scared he always felt.
Kakashi didn’t want to be alone, and Rin didn’t want to leave him alone.
So she took the time to hoist his tired body up onto a rock he couldn’t climb himself, seconds away from climbing up with him-
A wave of dread washing over as a bang rang out, coal eyes and amber eyes immediately locking to one another, frozen in place as a collective pain spread through their bodies. Not hard for either of them to come to a conclusion of what had just happened.
They had both been hit.
Shot with the same bullet.
But while one of them was at an elevated point, the other was not.
What could have been a mutual entry point was now one chest wound and one stomach wound instead.
“I’m sorry… Kakashi… I can’t-”
The brunette dropped first.
“Rin…? Rin?!”
A loud whistle sounded that had him rushing to cover his ears, the sound held for an excruciatingly long time before blinding lights started to be pointed on him.
Caught.
Was there ever truly a chance to escape?

First of all I just wanna say, I am so flattered by the response from y’all for this little au!
This fandom is the best. ❤️💙🧡💜💛
———————————————————
None of my AUs are based off existing fanfic! Only my own artwork and replies to asks! ✌️
The main story behind the this AU actually started from a simple concept of me re-watching Arcane and thinking how interesting Donnie would be as Jinx, and wanting to sketch a few ideas. This led to me wondering about the other boys and everything spiraled into splitting them up as follows: Donnie grew up with Draxum from the beginning as his personal test subject, driving him mad like Jinx. Leo and Mikey get separated from Splinter and Raph about five years after Splinter escapes with them. Leo gets kidnapped by the Foot clan where Shredder is alive and trains him as his pupil as revenge against Splinter. Mikey finds his way into to Big Mama’s loving arms until she gets bored of him and throws him into her Battle Nexus. Raph is the only one to stay and be raised by Splinter, who is more diligent in his teachings. He befriends April and they grow up together, training to become ninja. Eventually the boys find each other again.
Mikey’s rescue arc: The starting point of the entire story!
Leo’s rescue arc: Just completed!
Donnie’s arc: Currently running!
If you wanna read it on AO3! (Each new arc will be added, after they are completed!)
Shorts!
Stuck On You In The Leg
Leo's Cringe Moments 1, 2, 3
Don't ask Donnie about his past
Raph & Donnie bonding
Brutus Animatic - Leo and Raph's storyline
Donnie and April being silly
Usagi & Leo's history
Maps- Raph and April meet
Rise/Ew crossover
Distractions-ways the boys help Donnie on his bad days
Leo's concerns over Draxum
Leo & Splinter argument
Thirds- Donnie has a bad day
Raph Time- Something's been bothering Raph
Old Secrets- Mikey and Donnie get into a bit of a spat
Important tags are also in the search bar
#Sep!au life -a ton more everyday moments for the brothers
#Sep!au infodump
#Sep!au ref
#Sep!au future- Doomed timeline
#Sep!au fanwork - all the lovely works I've received!
Also massive timeline for anyone looking for a clearer explanation of events and don’t want to have to scavenge though all the mess of my previous replies!!!!!!
BOYS AGES
Warnings: This story has plenty of humor and family fluff but it can and will get pretty dark, please take care when checking it out. TW for child abuse, blood, horror, experimentation, self harm, mental health issues, abandonment issues, mind control, dark humor, and language (mostly from Mikey and Leo lol).
———
As far as anyone looking to make something based of the Separated AU, I am totally okay with most anything as long as credit is given but I will not be chill with tcest of any kind. I also ask you include no romance aside from the confirmed ships.
You can absolutely make anything that covers the things I’ve already mentioned in my replies, or if it’s just fam shenanigans, hanging out and dealing with recovery. I would love to see it and share it! You don’t have to bother with asking for the O.K. in that case. But I do ask that you maybe hold off on anything anyone might consider plot related or that’s not been addressed in the asks, and would be mostly speculation, cause I’ll be covering a whole host of before, and after reunion events, either in quick sketch comps or comics. If you’re still unsure you can always ask me. I would consider myself pretty easy going, so I’ll probably only say no if I think it’s something I have plans for, or if it really just doesn’t fit with the feel of the AU. I’m more likely to say yes if you have an idea of what you wanna do. Please, be specific in your ask, if you can. I don’t like telling people flat out no, so the more info I have the better!
That’s all for now! Again, I wanna thank y’all for being so awesome. I look forward to causing you all pain in the future!

For the Valentine’s Day blurb I could imagine Damian showing you his art book along with the drawings of you he did over time while saying how much he loves you how grateful he is not those words exactly but just Valentine’s Day Damian talk you know
Kick off the the celebration y'all, happy wallowing season ✌️
MASTER LIST in BIO
It's sitting on your bed when you get home from a class. At first glance, you don't realize what it is. Some skinny black square sitting atop a bed that definitely wasn't made when you left.
You set your bag down and step closer. That's when you recognize the elegant golden embossed D.W. on the corner. He's stuck a red bow on the opposite corner, beside a white envelope. You're glad to see he's still putting that calligraphy course to good use, the way your name is scrawled so beautifully that you almost don't recognize it.
You pick up the card first. He didn't stick it shut, so the card slides out easily.
It's rough white parchment. The front boasts a gorgeous top-down bouquet of roses, all different colors, all outlined in black ink that acts as a barrier the watercolor paints don't respect. On the back, a gentle pink camellia.
It's hand painted.
You open it carefully. In true Damian Wayne fashion, he's spared no expense when it comes to paint. There are little vines of flowers crawling around the corners and slithering between the clusters. The words on either page are perfectly spaced and centered.
On the left page, "To my shining moon and glittering star; my only love and favorite muse; let this remind you how beautiful you really are."
On the right page, "You know I'm not a poet as I am an artist, but I'd try anything for you. This isn't all I'd like to give you today, but it is the gift I'm most proud of. I truly hope this will dismiss all those foolish ideas your mind crafts about yourself. I can't always be there to remind you in person, but this should be a decent placeholder. I love you terribly, my dear. [Signed,] Your Mr. Darcy, Damian."
You haven't even opened your gift yet and you're already close to tears. You set the card on your bedside table, propping it open so it stands up beneath your lamp.
And then you settle down against your headboard and pick up the sketchbook. It feels familiar in your hand—as it should. You weigh it passively in one hand, swimming through memories of summer evenings spent in the gardens, rainy spring mornings in front of his open balcony door, fall afternoons spent in the corner of a cafe, winter nights spent fireside. The number of times you've picked it up to hand it to him; the hours spent curled into his side, drifting in and out of sleep to the sound of graphite against paper.
The first page is Batcow's portrait. The second is a quick outline of a scene from the city park. On the adjacent page, a robin in the same style.
You spend the next two hours flipping through it. At first, it's just animals and landscapes, a few harsh scene sprinkled in—because who would Damian be with the shady darks to break up all the beauty. Somewhere after the more troubled images (zombies and battlefields and zombie battlefields and one you think might be the stronghold he was raised in being razed to the ground), his focus seems to shift. There are whole pages dedicated to practicing different human forms at different angles, and the farther you get, the more familiar they start to seem.
And then it really changes. The first one is rough; unerased guide lines, too-sharp angles. There's something about your face that's just off, but it is unmistakably you. The next is of the same stronghold, but this time it's cast in the flow of a messy watercolor sunset.
You watch his skill develop across the pages. And you watch yourself evolve along with it. You see the way you wore your hair in eighth grade, the phase of experimentation with makeup, the earrings you wore for three months solid, that ratty hoodie that's rotting in your closet. You watch your smiles get brighter while his painting improves, your confidence grows with his expertise. The closer you get, the more abstract his work becomes; the more emotion he pours into it.
There's one toward the end that nearly knocks the breath out of you. It's done from the perspective of his reading chair. His room is sketched out carefully, from the paintings on his walls to the clothes scattered lazily around the floor, it's all painstakingly captured in pencil and pen. He's used the colored pencils you'd given him for his birthday the week before to engrave the moment perfectly. The early rays of the morning sun are just spilling into the room, painting everything in gentle light.
You can hardly image yourself as the subject of such a piece, but there you are, settled among the blankets and pillows spread out on his bed like an angle laying in a cloud. You look– gorgeous. If this is how he sees you, it's no wonder you get to pick stars out in his eyes every morning.
You really hate him now. Jesus, he's the absolute worst.
He's surprised you with this– this home-run, heart-wrenching, emotionally-ruining, year-making gift on Valentine's Day. And he's alluded to have more to give you. And what did you get him? A booklet of handmade coupons for hugs and kisses, and a batch of your grandmother's brownies that he would not shut up about after Christmas. That bastard.
Guess you're gonna have to call the other grandma. This seems like a job for Grammy's famous cheesy veggie casserole.
