when stede senses that ed is having a bad day or maybe that his brain is in the process of Going Into The Hole (If You Know You Know) he’ll go up to him with his hand behind his back and tell him to close his eyes and open his mouth and then pops a piece of surprise candy in there

wanted to make a list of food textures that are Hell(TM) as opposed to those that are not, bc tbh i think my weird sensory problem w food is p interesting. for reference this is not a list of my favorite/least favorite foods this is just texture 

Hell textures:

anything thats the same/similar texture all the way through thats served as a meal... lasagna is a good example of sometimes being 100% fine and sometimes being the Worst.  if something is too samey i literally stop being able to eat it 

PEAS + anything simultaneously mushy and gritty (like overripe banana or applesauce)

milk (in terms of drinking it) uhgh u can feel all the separate lipid molecules in it basically.... i dont want it.  bad mix of watery but oily ?? why

pears ??? why are they like that 

marmalade w seeds --- too slippery and yet it wants to break ur teeth

steak hhhh also pork chops

good textures:

well cooked rice

peanut butter 

anything crunchy

anything crunchy on the outside but soft in the middle (EX: cherry sours/jellybeans)

stuff like avocado thats smooth and soft with no grit 

peanuts/nuts in general (i dont like the taste of walnuts but will do it to myself bc the Good Texture) 

cucumber

refrigerated gummi candy of any texture.  notable favorites are white mice-style marshmallow gummis and the thicker/opaque licorice-esque ones 

apples

oranges are also great bc the slices have all those little juice sacs in there ... nice

raw onion ??

arugula

c a r b o n a t i o n -- i like my water so carbonated that it hurts a lil to drink it, that when u stick ur snoot in there after pouring its fizzing so hard little droplets jump up on your face *heart eyes emoji*
