Since Her Interactive laid off most of their staff and outsourced the rest of the game during the production of Midnight in Salem, here’s a list of loose end plot things from prior games I’m disappointed that probably won’t get answered at any point:

In the outro for SPY, Nancy mentioned wanting to track down the rest of the real letters from her mom that Revenant had (Redacted Villain) use to lure her to Scotland.

What exactly was Grandpa Jin’s device in the Shattered Medallion? The outro mentioned Sonny was still trying to track down leads for that, and one of the preorder bonuses from Sea of Darkness was a comic he left on the couch in the pub area of the inn where he mentioned wanting Nancy’s help again, which kinda implied a quasi-sequel to MED at some point.

Meeting Sonny Joon was one of the biggest letdowns in video game history. They had built him up to be this mysterious character filled with so much coolness, but once we met him it felt very underwhelming. I don’t think he’s absolutely terrible, just disappointing.
