thinking about it stresses me out and i can't explain it well but making the world link events take up an entire event slot instead of it running alongside a different event is such a horrible idea imo, especially if it takes this month's lim banner entirely. and i think it's impossible considering vbs's one is in january and there's the new years fes anyways? unless they make new years perm again like in 2021 but it's going to be so fucking annoying and predictable for any fan that's been waiting for a lim for a while, especially vsers because it basically confirms that the devs STILL aren't treating them like the actual characters and putting them in events with the ocs (let alone having to wait until AUGUST for more fucking lims, yea like we need another fucking one-year gap /s). its genuinely irritating for me if they end up deciding that and not making next event lim. plus it makes the next event from now only six days considering this gacha ends October 31st, and with the event gap, the event has to end November 5th or 6th. and this wl event lasts 12 days and no event has lasted either of those lengths in jp (not to mention the weird fucking chapter-by-chapter thing going on?). sorry for acting angry but i really am disappointed if this ends up being the case without any fucking warning it makes no sense!

yeah the WL event just feels like it needs some work. obviously this is the first one so there's gonna be some problems here and there but this feels like it's pretty messily put together, even for a first run. i understand it taking an event slot because otherwise you'd have to tier two separate events at the same time and that'd just be difficult, but just the sheer amount of time it takes up is too much. maybe shorten the chapters to 2 days from 3, 12 days is too long. it's just gonna be really draining and a pain in the ass to tier, plus it makes the event before it really short. like seriously, 7 days for the MMJ event? i mean the current event is only 8 but normally cheerful carnivals last about 10 because of the format. i mean MMJ wouldn't perform as well as a N25 banner anyway so maybe they're just throwing the 7 day event on them for testing purposes.

since VBS is directly after new year colofes+lims I'm guessing WL lims don't count as actual lims. maybe they don't have hairstyles, i mean they said about MR2 unlocking special cut-ins, so maybe they do that instead of hairstyles. i wonder if they'll be like a bday card where they have their own rarity or something because if the game is willing to run them directly after a fes banner they can't be all that rare? maybe they reappear on future WL events like how all fes cards are on every colofes banner.

i get the feeling that the WL event won't have a specific character focus. they didn't announce a song other than the 3rd anniversary campaign one, so unless they're deciding to count that as Kanade's 4th comm then it doesn't look like this has a specific focus. well, apparently each part of the event/story is focused on a different character so that makes sense I guess. also the 3rd anni campaign commissions are meant to release monthly, and these events are getting dragged out until well past when all unit will've gotten their comm.

i think a lot of adjustments are gonna have to be made to the event starting from the VBS one. like the whole thing feels messy right now. and maybe it's because they haven't really told us a whole lot about how it works still, but there's obvious problems from the get-go like the duration and the amount of gacha cards on top of the fact they're now rerunning 3 lim gachas at a time. how badly does this game want our money they earn way more than any other idol game on the market.

I'm a fan of pound cake, or lemon squares. Or something simple with fruit in it .. reminds me of Alder. He used to make this .. pecha tart? I'm unsure, but it was a treat we rarely had, given the lack of cooking supplies!

A Castella cake. Expensive sweets like that were common when I was in TR. As for the recipe .. you'll have to figure that out. I've never baked a day in my life.

Mario kart 8 deluxe getting a beeg house track with Petey, Wiggler, AND Kamek? Stunning. Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon getting a remake? Stunning. Mario+Rabbids dlc? Beautiful. A NEW WARIOWARE GAME SO SOON AFTER THE LAST ONE? BRILLIANT! PEACH GETTING A NEW GAME FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2005? BRILLIANT! SUPER MARIO RPG REMAKE!?? SUPER MARIO FUCKING WONDER!?

I'm so hyped and this direct as well as the movie are pushing me deeper into my Mario universe obsession.

HOWEVER, not trying to sound greedy here; but I'm kinda disappointed we didn't see a new Wario Land or Donkey Kong Country, since we haven't seen either since 2009 and 2013 respectfully. HOWEVER! I have a theory; a very crack-y theory but one regardless; is that Wario and Donkey Kong are going to be playeble in Super Mario Wonder With their move sets from WL and DKC respectfully.

The evidence for Wario;

This was the twitter user who originally leaked Super Mario Bros Wonder as well as Super Mario RPG Remake. Of course we know what the Daisy, Elephant, and Caterpillar Emojis mean; being playeble Daisy, the Elephant powerup, and the Crawling pipe. We don't know what the Star, Purple, and coin Emoji mean. Alot of people have been speculating that this is a hint towards playeble Rosalina, Waluigi and Wario respectfully. PLUS Wario was originally planned to be playeble in both NSMBWii and NSMB2, particularly stated to use his Wario Land moveset (atleast in NSMB2's case) Peach was also considered to be playeble In NSMBWii and later became playeble in here. Also having Wario being in a mainline Mario game isn't unprecedented *cough* SM64DS *cough* Also WarioWare Get it together! Had Wario preforming his iconic shoulder bash, so likely the Wario Land games are in public conscious. and, atleast according to jack black we are likely to see Wario in the second Mario Movie, and I feel like would get references to WarioWare and Wario Land, as well as a Lego Wario set and Wario Land/ WarioWare charecters in Mario Kart Tour...speaking of which;

As for Donkey Kong;

Nintendo has been advertising Donkey Kong Country like CRAZY! there's the Mario+Rabbids DLC, there's now Lego Donkey Kong sets, Dixie Kong AND Funky Kong got in Mario Kart Tour, He was a Huge part of the movie, which also featured Cranky Kong, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, and oh yeah, Chunky Kong and Swanky Kong!? Really Really deep cuts. There's atleast Something brewing with Donkey Kong for them to do nothing with him, and to be far the rumors of a new 3d Donkey Kong are probably true. But it seems odd to have nothing be done with him until then. I think that Donkey Kong being in Super Mario Wonder would be a great way to tide fans over, plus the movie showed him using Mario Powerups!? Like Nintendo had to approve that to some capacity.

Another sub theory I have relating to the Mario Movie and potential could be true for Super Mario Bros Wonder or a new Donkey Kong game;

I feel like the reason why they put Dixie, Diddy, AND Chunky right next to eachother was because either In Super Mario Wonder or a new DKC; They'll be playeble alongside Donkey Kong to reference the original Donkey Kong Country (with Chunky replacing Kiddie, since let's face it no one likes Kiddie Kong and Chunky Kong is better in every single way)

i feel like he's offered to defang himself for you on multiple occasions

i feel like he really hasn't been a vampire for long, probably like ten years, so he's still pretty in touch with society and stuff but he just loves to hear you talk so he lets you ramble on about wl what's happened over the past ten years and acts completely oblivious

"i want to. if you're ok with being turned then i want to spend the rest of my life with you" as he looks into your eyes earnestly, which are filled witj curiosity, adoration and excitement

the moment when he turns you is so. special. so intimate??? like. "this is going to hurt im so sorry, but the pain will pass. i'll be here every moment of every hour for you" you nod as him and smile, kissing him for the final time as a human "slight pain is nothing if o get to spend eternity with you"

im not gonna lie, it's probably fucking agony. but true to his word izzy does not lave your side for your entire transformation. you ask him whu afterward and he just shrugs, cuddling closer to you as he places his head ontop of yours. "i wish i had someone there for me, i went through it aand i would never wish that upon anyone, lus i love you so" his hand finds tours and entangles your fingers, the other hanging off the top of the sofa as he lets out a contented sigh. "im so sorry, i wish i could've been there all those years ago, i love you too iz" he smiles, kisses the top of your head, squeezes your hand and lies his head back down. moments later you hear soft snoring coming from him.

honestly the absolute best thing to do is go flying with him in bat form like??? imagine flyimg with him, side by side over the ocean, no one to disturb you as you chase eachother through the night

I'll never get over this nonsensical moment of joy between them in TLB tidbits. It's my number one favorite snippet because they are in their own world. That smile on 88 - she is truly gorgeous inside and out. I feel for 30 having to be close to someone so naturally blessed even with virtually no makeup. No one makes 30 smile like 88, no one. No one helps us see the little girl side in the transparent actress like 30, no one. May the flowers be blooming. Birds say that 30 got stuck again yesterday and created a card point that is harmless - now is not the time to show public displays of affection. I suspect all their messages to each other will be veiled in business transactions.

I gathered a few for you: So，30 seems to find the most interesting ways to say "re" 热；therefore, endorsing toothpaste for sensitive teeth with the tagline "Hot and cold, sweet and sour" seems a great way to go around rrrrrre-ing." I did notice in my research that "cold" might be his self-reference. He is Xiao Leng (冷 cold) - the compnay is Leng Suan Ling - and she is Xiao Re. Still in preliminary stages, but it seems to work. He honestly loves cold and hates the heat, but he is always going around in warm clothes sweating and talking about how "hot" it is. lol

88 is pink and 30 is blue.

THE NEWS: WB CRAZY THESE DAYS!

So, the weibosphere for both sides is a hot mess right now. 88 has started the necessary trend of suing paparazzi - YES. The studio of the other lady has sued. This is probably in relation to an article published on CCTV wb referring to a person who didn't know the founding of the CCP (so definitely purple junior) and a few others as "illiterates" but there is also reference to personal life infringement. I have some personal feelings. As a fellow dyscalculic who struggles with dates, times, numbers I get the little purple junior's issue. Dates CAN be really hard for people with dyscalculia and even nearly impossible for a handful; however, if I were given a role and did no research or wrote no notecards about my role so I could learn the information - sorry, that's being lazy. We are good at memorizing information usually even if we don't understand it.

I sent a message to Lei-fan yesterday as I live in Doha about the Sledgehammer broadcast and see the news earlier to warn them of the coming onslaught from the LD broadcast. I also am online more than I should be: Basically a netizen called and said that 30 and a certain purple flower were together. This was on Valentine's Day. LD had previously refuted the CPF as fake. He is most likely being payed to stoke the fire, so although he did not directly say he had evidence, he released the hint of two 95 actors even without evidence based on a random person's conjecture! Whether tea is rubbing or the CPF are just that unruly, it resulted in a bit of mayhem. I wonder if WL's studio will issue a letter soon. His is a family-run business, so spending extra money is not really as easy for him. As for whether the letters will directly refute the CP, it's not good business to lose fans so I don't see it being done that directly. Don't take my word. Check wb yourself.

If you do check weibo, you will see a whole lot of attempts to tear people down using nefarious means. It goes from calm to crazy on 88's weibo - we had a lull, then something will come up. It's just really insane right now.

Whatever is happening, it really looks like 88 might finally be free soon if all these rumors are related to leaving the company! If its just this new role and endorsement she has, then it must be plumb. She has a photoshoot on the 27th. Hopefully we will know by then, but who knows. All is speculation.

What we do know: We know 30 and 88 are the best artists to ship separately or together. They have nothing bad on them and baddies will keep trying to muddy their reputation because they really are good eggs or rub up against them because of their popularity. We don't know if they are together. We hope that is the case, but all CP's are pure imagination until a formal announcement is made and we have to be sensible. Not knowing keeps the business alive; if this is an ongoing business relationship - which I am highly doubtful as it really doesn't have enough capital incentive with the small numbers of Eggs relative to new fandoms - then OK. It's all good. Let's go for a re-match!

your posts on how White Lily being Dark Enchantress is more complicated than it seems make me so happy. like, i wasn't all too happy w/ knowing WL was DE bc it left so much questions and your posts have made me Understand a bit more. SORRY IF I WORDED THIS WEIRDLY.,.,. i never really liked this twist? i kind of wish it didn't happen but you've helped me make more sense of it

I'll be completely honest with you: when the reveal first happened, I wasn't a fan of it at all myself. I have since lessened my harshness towards it and think it can work depending on how they use it going forward...

... buuuuuut despite the text showing hints of its complexity, I do find the whole 'ohhhhh mysterious will they won't they' they're doing with her annoying. So I can totally get why someone doesn't like the twist. It's deeply unsatisfying to have all these questions and plotholes and for them to not be addressed for so long. It's fine to hide things from the audience, but when it's a crucial part of a character... the longer it's dangled in front of the audience like this, the worse it gets.

But yea, I'm glad my analysis of stuff can help you make more sense of it. I've put a lot of time into analyzing what we have to better understand White Lily and where the plot might be going, so I'm glad it's paid off.

Speechless here on WL gesture towards 88 last night. He really waited for her and held her trophy when they went off stage. But it's funny that fans of LLTG insisting ZL and WL were the real thing last night when they didn't even interact lol! Perhaps they didn't see how his gesture towards 88 was sweeter. It really brings back good TLB days. I believe 30 and 88 are close in real life than with any of their drama partners. What do you think? 😀

Okay, do you mind if I share my au with you? I had this au in mind for the past forever now, in it the radiance Learns about the vessel plan immediately and decides to secretly talk and influence the vessel and she’s been doing this since they left the baby pit. Her original plan was to either possess or convince the vessel to betray their father and stab him in the back however pure vessel would always refuse to be aggressive. She acts as a voice in their head/dreams and feels kinda like a imaginary friend and mother figure for PV and the two get really close due to it. The shit hits the fan when PV has their final molt unfortunately because since gods are weird and kinda abstract spending too much time with other gods in early developmental periods can influence them physically. So when they finally molt they end up getting wings but instead of wyrm wings like everybody expected they end up with huge moth/like wings due to radiances unintentional influence on PV. That’s all I came up with tbh and I’m still playing with how everyone would react. What do you think? How would your PK and WL react to this?

I think it completely depends on how you characterise both PK and WL in this AU, but I think it's safe to say that since they had no idea PV was alive and the whole god appearance thing was known, Pale King would immediately suspect the worst. Perhaps even panic and consider killing Pure Vessel, but it'd be probably a very hard choice for him to make because on one hand his nemesis has influenced his Pure Vessel but on the other they're Hallownest's last and only hope - without them, they're all doomed.

If PV's sentience is revealed at the same time or soon after their last moult, then I think it'd completely depend on how you characterise them, so I'd have to know more about PK and WL in this AU if ya want any suggestions from me

If you wanna go the more lighthearted/comedic route, I think PK and Radi finally working shit out and sharing custody over PV would be hilarious. Plus, could be some fun political and family drama.
