he's probably used to gore and gritty stuff like that since he sees it often being a jujutsu sorcerer and all. not to mention his technique is literally blood. maybe he's desensitized to gore films, the most you'll get from him is a disgusted scowl.

BUT DID YOU SEE HOW QUICK HIS EYE OPENED WHEN HANAMI SHOWED UP BEHIND HIM. YOURE SO FUCKING FR ABT JUMPSCARES. Noritoshi is that guy who wouldn't scream or yelp but gasp really loudly and jump out of his skin.

i feel like they get him most in horror because of the music building up anticipation. if its one of those fake outs where the jumpscare comes a bit after, he's fucked UP. It makes him instantly miffed, as he tries to regain his composure. He swears he's not usually like this, it got him by surprise is all..!

Noritoshi is the type that'd only watch a horror movie if the story is rich and complex. He's the type of guy to like open endings that make you think.. if it's a guilty pleasure movie where all the protags make stupid decisions, he gets annoyed right off the bat.

He's groaning and complaining about how imbecile the characters are, but would still watch it with you because you personally invited him. If he's lucky you could fall asleep on his shoulder or [insert movie cliche here] how could he pass that up? But Noritoshi wouldn't be able to focus on you if he gets twice as annoyed because its a bad movie + jumpscares. it still startles him, but the movie is so terrible, he's embarrassed it got him, especially in front of you!!!

if you get involved and you tell him to quiet down, Noritoshi would shift his focus towards you. like that awkward guy who thinks he's being smooth and lowkey about how he cuddles up next to you. He wants to be the tough guy who's shoulder you can hide in, and he is!! just not.. with jumpscares.......

Cuffing Season with Tsukishima

A confession for Yara (@pearl-blue-musings) a rivals to lovers story

Where: A Cabin in the Snowy Mountains How: Christmas music radiated from the old record player in the corner of the large living room, the sound occasionally stuttering as the needle brushed over an old scratch. This was an old tradition, one the whole group of you had had since high school. The week before Christmas Hinata, Kageyama, Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, Yachi, and yourself would make your way into the mountains and to Yachi’s family’s cabin.

It was a decent sized space, three small rooms that each of you shared with one other in your group and a large living room that was only separated from the kitchen by an island. A fire roared in the fireplace, heating the cabin and adding a sense of comfort. The crackling of the wood could just barely be heard over the soft music and it lulled you into such a sense of calm that you’d nearly forgotten the task at hand.

A loud noise shocked you out of your peace and you glared at the offender. Tsukishima had dropped a heavy bin on the coffee table ungracefully. A large piece of tape was adhered to the side of the bin, delicate writing labeling it as “Winter Decorations,” the exact box that Yachi had asked the two of you to find and start unpacking as she ran to the store with the other boys.

Usually you’d have been happy to tag along to the store but the drive up to the cabin had tired you out this time and you thought the social experience of the store would only sour your mood. However, with the way it could go with Tsukishima, your mood might sour anyways.

Tsukishima and you had always had one of the more complicated relationships out of the group. You were friends by proxy. Part of the same group that seemed to be caught together everywhere, even after high school when you all went your own ways, every time you were all back in town, you were back to old habits together. You and Tsukishima personally, however, had never been all that great at getting along. The two of you were nearly always snipping at one another, snide comments passed between the two of you like a second language. Everything one of you did was commented on by the other with a different viewpoint, consistently butting heads.

Today was no different. The two of you were currently giving each other the silent treatment, caused by an argument you’d both had on the drive up, a trivial thing that you’d both since forgotten the topic of, only remembering the bitter taste of irritation in your mouth from the end of it.

He unpacked the box silently, strewing out the decorations along the couch so you both could see the entirety of its contents before starting to put them up. The two of you worked quietly around each other in the living space. It started with deadly glares exchanged when you both reached for the same thing or when one of you accidentally bumped into the other as you moved to hang something else on the wall. But as the time dwindled, the music eased both of your nerves.

It wasn’t that you hated Tsukishima, not truly. Sure, he rubbed you the wrong way sometimes but he did that to most everyone. But you surely weren’t blind to Tsukishima’s beauty either. You knew he was attractive. And sometimes, just sometimes, that sass and sarcasm, the back and forth he provided you was just mentally stimulating enough to have you smiling in amusement no matter how irritated you were in the moment.

You were, however, blind to the softer looks Tsukishima gave you. The glances when you weren’t looking. Stolen from when your back was turned, focused on your profile as you worked deftly on your project at hand. The pink that tainted his cheeks when your hand brushed his when reaching for a new decoration. You were blind to the moment before the glares and scowls you saw, where his true feelings were revealed.

The truth was, Tsukishima was pretty sure he could love you. And he did not want that. He didn’t need that kind of issue in the friend group. But there were some moments that he caught himself staring at you when you weren’t around and he knew… it already was an issue.

Tsukishima made note silently of how you dragged a step ladder over to the wall you had been working on, bent on hanging something by yourself that he could have easily reached if you’d asked. Of course you hadn’t. It was like it was slow motion. He watched you get to the top step, precariously lifting onto your toes to lean towards the wall. The step tilted at the imbalance, folding in on itself and collapsing under you.

Your small shriek radiated through the air and you squeezed your eyes, bracing for the impact that wouldn’t come. Tsukishima’s arms caught you before the clatter of the step ladder even finished echoing in the room.

Straight out of a movie. You swear like it could have been. You blinked rapidly, trying to prove this wasn’t an illusion and that Tsukishima truly was standing above you, holding you in his arms, dipped slightly from the position you’d fallen at.

It was tense for a second, neither of you said anything as you stared at each other, the closest you’d ever been to each other and not yelling. Just for a second. And then Tsukishima’s lips were on yours without another thought. And impulse he couldn’t drown out in time to pull away. Your shock came with a gasp but soon melted into your lips moving against his. Your own instincts responding to him.

He pulled away just as suddenly as he had come, setting you down upright as he disconnected the two of you. You opened your mouth, the question only half forming before you were interrupted.

“Hey! We’re back!” Yachi’s voice rang from the front door and Tsukishima was on the opposite end of the room before she entered, Yamaguchi, Hinata, and Kageyama close on her tail. “Oh it looks so pretty in here!” She laughed as she took in the decorations you and Tsukishima had managed to put up in the time she’d been gone.

You glanced at Tsukishima as laughter and conversation overtook the music in the previously quiet living space, but the only tell that anything had happened was the faint blush that covered his cheeks. The one that, you were sure, was mirroring your own.

I got thinking about genderbends in asoiaf and how they have to change the story, realised... Davos' stays p much the same! Smuggling doesn't seem to need social standing or combat, if Marya's a guy then they still can have kids (maybe he was also a smuggler, but got his whole hands cut like was common so now he's a stay-at-home dad), women can probably be raised to noble no problem... and if any king would consider a female hand, it would be Stannis the Mannis.

Alternatively, het stavos with f!Stannis (Sarrah!!) Only works in the pre-series, but still. This teenage girl Lady commanding over the seige and a hundred hungry angry soldiers, caring for her baby brother. Having a terrible opinion of men bc of Robert (she was probably told to 'smile more'...) and expecting to marry some shit lord, but falling for a really nice, respectful smuggler. Being scared of meeting Marya as Davos' 'mistress' but instead getting a big ol HUG. I think she'd like sewing.

hey!!!! i was seeing your posts about the kusaregedou and chocolate meta remix and i think that it was specifically kusaregedou because it's meant to sound like magical girl and chocolate!! so it would only fit on the same album that song is on (since they are somewhat related and stuff)

Oh yeah! Magical Girl is like, a sequel to Kusaregedou kinda, so I suppose it does make more sense for it to be on the album than i thought ^^; We've had a lot of Kusaregedou remixes compared to some other songs so I think it's fun to speculate~

kinda just my hcs because i think its cool: i think giygas is somewhat arachnid-like so all the people he Fucks Up get a bit interesting like that. that's why i give pokey so many Weird Things or whatever.

but i decided to base lucas on a "sunspider" (solifugae, i do not recommend looking them up they're a bit freaky. kinda scared me while i was looking for an arachnid to base him off)
