Souji slowed down as he tried to make out the scene in front of him, which was Ian being scolded by some...chef guy? while what looked like coffee streamed down from his hair.

The chef guy went back inside, and another guy came out, looking apologetic and handing Ian a towel, looking over his shoulder the whole time.

Snickering, Souji left before Ian could catch him, reminding himself he'd definitely have to check out Bistro La Salle.

Music?? Check. Outfit? Double check. He looked over to the clock, waiting for Io to come in, and the moment he did, Souji smiled, getting up and straightening himself.

"Welcome home... I was thinking we stay home tonight for Valentine's..." He made his way to the other, taking his hand and setting him down on the couch, presenting a strawberry and pressing it to his mate's lips.

Though he'd needed to help a little bit at the bar earlier in the day, thanks to a new shipment of stock coming in, Io had made sure he was finished before lunch time rolled around. From there, it was time for a trip to visit Aile for the gift he'd commissioned, as well as get some flowers...then to the grocery store to pick up a few things.

After all of that, though...was home. Right on time.

"I'm back...hope I didn't keep you waiting, Beauty." He greeted, pressing a quick kiss to Souji's lips before he's guided to sit down. Flowers, and the gift box are exchanged for the strawberries, and he holds up the grocery bag just after.

"I was thinking the same thing. I thought...maybe I could get that first cooking lesson from you? After you open your gift, that is."

The morning was quiet and warm, slight hustle and bustle from the world outside starting to stir… But, here bundled up the sheets, it was just the two of them. Both awake for a short while now, but neither in any hurry to move… Slender fingers combed through raven locks as Minato let his chin rest atop the other's head. And for a short while longer, that peaceful quiet drifted on…

Eventually, however, Micchan interrupted that quiet to speak up-- "Ne, this is way out of the blue, but…" He spoke softly, not exactly seeming shy, but… the exact feeling was hard to put a feeling on. "I know you might not have thought I'd noticed, since I never said anything, but… I'm not blind to the fact that you like me." Here he gave a slight note of laughter. Hell, it was probably more than just a 'like' at this point, but… It wasn't as easy to coax those words from his throat as he'd like. "Hell, maybe it's something more than that… Which is fine too…" He added after a moment, even if the comment did come sort of mumbled.

"And, just to finally set things straight… I like you too…" With that he held Souji a bit closer, hoping the ravenette wouldn't look up and catch the pink dusted across his cheeks. "It's just that… up until now, I've felt too damn scared to come out and say it. Too afraid that something would go wrong… too scared to admit that I trusted someone else like that…" Here Micchan couldn't help but curl up a bit, lightly folding himself further around the smaller form in his arms. "But… Since we've made it this far, I think it's safe enough to let myself admit that I do trust you that much."

And knowing that Souji does a lot of cleanup/aftermath detail, after the initial panic and relief that everyone was infected but got out okay, I can just hear the sarcasm and little jabs he makes as he's piecing together scenes.

Like... goes to the control room, sees precious evidence and formulae fucked up in the shattered glass, sees all sorts of shit fucked up with the computer systems... and a dead woman on the ground. "...$200 bucks says Leon was here..."
