yeah, i think LSF’s contract with LV is about up. they probably got the contract for one year & likely didn’t want to renew. aespa did givenchy for about 3 years. red velvet’s joy did tod’s for about three years. bp keeps renewing theirs - minus, L who left celine for LV. i have seen others for 1- 2 years so it highly depends. yunjin was spotted wearing ysl today and the others have been spotted with different brands recently. i know le sserafim wears LV for an upcoming magazine but i think there will be only a few more things with LV to be honest. they (fashion brand or sourcemusic/hybe) won’t announce that it’s over - they will likely just be spotted wearing different things lolol

and i’ll say good riddance ���🏻 i reeeeeally didn’t like lv for lsrfm, i will be very glad when the gig expires!! and ysl for yunjin is very interesting, i honestly like it and would love to see it go somewhere <3

I'm a casual NewJeans fan (though BTS is my main love), and I'm wondering what you think their future is gonna be once MHJ is removed on 31st, as it's likely to be the case.

Up until recently the HYBE/MHJ stuff seem like it was out of some kind of K-Drama. Though the hearing on Friday may have been a turning point. I've noticed some commentary changing after the leaking of those messages by MHJ about NJs and the woman that was supposedly assaulted by a VP at ador. Also, people are starting to notice that MHJ just doesn't provide any proof, unlike HYBE who clearly has receipts.

The bit I find most curious, NJs and their parents seem incredibly blinkered to what MHJ is doing, I fear that HYBE will bench the girls until their contract is up, because of this blind love for MHJ, though I personally feel they've been gaslit by MHJ, otherwise there's no other reason for those petitions and letters they sent.

What do you think?

At this point it's really all up to the girls and their parents. It's clear MHJ has Stockholmed them at this point, probably isolated them from HYBE and has most likely been whispering all manner of lies since the group formed.

Hopefully they'll see sense and distance themselves from MHJ, otherwise I can only see two options:

Like you say, risk being benched ala GOT7 until their contract and their relevance runs out.

NJs backing out of their contract involving hight penalties (I've seen figures as high as $90 million per member, those most say it's closer to $50 million each).

My guess, though, is they'll eventually see the light and stick with HYBE and the new team, because really, they have no choice in this matter.

Also, I think HYBE will eventually get rid ADOR and move NewJeans back to SourceMusic... the home they original came from, before being kidnapped by MHJ.

Operation “MAKE GFRIEND MORE POPULAR!”

The question is... How to make Gfriend more popular among Kpop fans worldwide? The answer is:

1.) By helping Gfriend through online voting at any awards. (May it be a small award or big)

2.) By making more english subbed videos of the girls to let other people know just how funny, cute, and weird our girls are!

3.) By streaming their music videos when it is first released.

4.) By asking Youtube reactors to react to them. (Just please don’t be rude.)

5.) By becoming friends with other BUDDY and fangirl/fanboy together to keep the GFRIEND love burning.

6.) By introducing their music to your other K-pop and Non-Kpop friends.

7.) By buying their albums to help increase their sales.

8.) By creating fanmade videos of the girls to highlight their personalities, beauty, and talents.

9.) By participating in Gfriend discussions in forums, sites, and other social media platforms. 

10.) By being nice and mature in responding to people who are hateful towards Gfriend. (THIS WILL MAKE OUR FANDOM SEEM SAFE AND WELCOMING, AND ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT HOW WE ACT REFLECTS TOWARDS GFRIEND TOO. SO PLEASE BE MINDFUL ALL THE TIME.)

Buddies, it may be hard to achieve the level of popularity of some K-pop groups out there right now, but we can always work hard and put more effort to make our dreams as BUDDIES to come true. Gfriend is certainly an amazing group and i believe they deserve to gain more acknowledgement by other people. Their music is great and their performance is top notch! 

Wouldn’t it be nice to see our girls in a bigger stage? My dream as a fan is to see them have a sold-out concert in huge arenas and domes. To see them receive a daesang. To see them get an all-kill wins in music shows again. To see them hit millions of hearts in VApp within a few minutes. To see them in lots of variety shows and have their own TV programs. To see them collaborate to other amazing artists out there. To have a world wide concert. TO SEE THEM SMILING AND CRYING OF HAPPINESS BECAUSE THEY ACHIEVED THEIR DREAMS.

That... as a buddy, is my dream.
