genuine pet peeve of mine is people who act like every person on planet earth grew up with video games because they did. "what do you MEAN you haven't played __??" "what did you DO your whole childhood if you weren't playing ___??" "you dont even have 50,000 hours on ___??!" like not everyone's family had money growing up, jfc. Equally annoying are people who act like they're superior because their parents didnt/couldnt buy them games. shut up all of you. im plenty happy to experience the joy of thirty years + worth of gaming ive missed out on as an adult. but i WILL suck at them.

honestly blacklisting the a03 tag was the best content curating decision I've made on this website to date, because not only did it get most of the rabid pedo defenders off my dash, as an added bonus it blocks at least 60% of those incredibly long untagged x reader fics people love to put in any given tag without a readmore

idk what mental eellness it is that causes this, but I genuinely do no grasp money well. any amount of dollars feels significant to me. I spend $3.00 on a sandwich at breakfast and im like "I'm living in decadence and waste. I'll never recover from this financially" and I find $25 in my purse later and I'm like "actually I could buy a new car this weekend if I wanted to."
