Year 5 of the homestuck Sparkles roller rink fandom lockin extravaganza!

Here's the low down for all you new cats: Sparklestuck is at it's basic core a lockin at Sparkles. They give us the space to run around in for a solid 9 hours as well as lazer tag, all night skating, food for dinner and breakfast, and music. Along with what we get from Sparkles we also host several different events.

Ticket Information:

Tickets this year will be $25 prepay until January 1st. Between January 1st and February 28th prepaying will cost $30. Prepaying will END the day of SparkleStuck. Tickets at the door will be $35. (Cash only). If you would like to prepay please visit this site to get your ticket. If you need to prepay in a different way please go see your options. Donating or snagging something cool from here will help us out so much. There are also discount options if you help out a little more.

--UPDATE!!-- (11/4/14) Sparklestuck 2015 is moving dates! It will now be on March 14th -15th. Same time, same place - just a whole month earlier!

Prepay now because on January 1st the prepaying price will rise to $30!

Prepaying ends the day of SparkleStuck.

It was fun seeing so many wonderful people at Sparklestuck this year!! I don’t have any pictures but I was out of cosplay for most of the time, then i was briefly Jade and briefly in Van’s footie pjs c: Message me if you were there if you’d like!! <3

Wanna Help?

I am looking for people who are interested in helping for SparkleStuck 2015. We have two different kinds of positions. The first is planner; how this works is that there are several events (such as the Prospit Vs Derse Games, or gift exchange as examples) that need to be planned, organized, and hosted during SparkleStuck. If you feel like you have a knack for being the host of these let me know. The second position is for artists. We are not only looking for artist that can help with promotional work but also for anyone who would like to donate their art to the raffle. If you donate to the raffle you will get one free raffle ticket. If you help you name will be put into this years program and there is a possibility to get discounted tickets for the event, if everything goes smoothly. If you are interested in helping in these ways please answer or message the Sparklestuck 2015 event blog. You don't have to live in Georgia to help - but you do have to be able to attend Sparklestuck.

A huge roll of paper is provided to give all our artsy friends the canvas they deserve. Bring your sketchbooks and pencils for a social drawing experience you won't ever forget.

remember to put your urls next to your drawings so we know who drew them!

PHOTOSHOOT

So last year the cosplay contest was great - but we didn't get as much participation as we were hoping. So this year we are going to have a general SparkleStuck photoshoot for everyone. Bring your best costumes because there still might be a reward for Best of Show.

GIFT EXCHANGE

This year's gift exchange is going to be a million times easier!

If you bring a gift let the person at the table when you check in know and we'll give you a sticker that will determine which group you are in. When it's time for the gift exchange everyone will line up on their respective sides of a table set up in the middle of the roller rink and take turns trading with the person on the other side of the table. Afterwards there will be time for trading.

Changes to this plan may be made.

Please think respectfully when choosing a gift.

Hand made items are generally received better.

Please gift wrap your gift.

The raffle is a large scale hand made artwork fundraiser for SparkleStuck. We have had hand drawn posters, sticker sheets, and costume pieces be donated to be in the raffle.
