you’ve said before that you dislike the “companion cube contains a corpse” theory and im not for that theory either, whats your personal reasoning?

Ok, I’m sorry but has anyone actually gone back and rewatched the original Game Theory video MatPat did that spawned the whole “Companion Cubes contain corpses” theory? It is downright one of the most frustrating, horrible theories that MatPat has ever put out, and frankly, genuinely misrepresents and misunderstands so, so many aspects of the Portal series for the sake of pushing a theory that doesn’t even hold up to scrutiny.

MatPat himself has no fucking clue what angle he wants to take in the video. Sometimes he says the people in the Cubes are dead corpses, sometimes he says the people inside are alive. He just fucking flip flops between these two stances constantly and it drives me nuts that he can’t even be consistent on the core crux of his theory.

Doug Rattman...Oh my god I am so sorry Doug. MatPat fucking bastardises Rattman’s character in that video hardcore. He looks at this character who suffers from mental illness, takes medication to deal with his schizophrenia, and hallucinates that the Companion Cube can speak to him, and proceeds to throw it ALL out the window. Why? So he can push his idea that “No, Doug isn’t insane and the Cube is actually speaking to him, infact, Doug Rattman is sexually attracted to the Companion Cube!” WHAT.

Then to add onto that mess, he tries to claim that Doug is taking fake medication made by Aperture intended to drown out the voice of the Cubes because it’s labelled “Ziaprazidone” when it should be actually spelt “Ziprasidone”. I would like to remind everyone that Valve is the same company that consistently mispelt Aperture as “Aperature”, and has many hilarious misspellings in model filenames such as “Cursher”, “Vacum”, and “Cabient”. The “Ziaprazidone” is just yet another one of the billion times Valve has misspelt something.

Oh! Another thing too. He tries to say that they shouldn’t use GLaDOS dialogue as evidence, says that you can’t trust what she says about the Companion Cube because she’s lying to the player about the true nature of the Companion Cube...only for him to use a dialogue line from GLaDOS as evidence. (“They are sentient of course, we just have a lot of them.”) Which is a line referring to the Portal 2 iteration of the Cubes, and is a joke on how much of the Aperture facility is made up of sentient AIs. The cubes aren’t actually sentient AIs themselves.

And finally, he then says to listen to the sound of the Companion Cube being fizzled... then uses the sound of the Radio being fizzled. The cube doesn’t even get fizzled in Portal 1, ever, not under intended circumstances atleast. But it does get fizzled in Portal 2, at most 4 times, and every single time it uses the default object fizzling sound. Even if you spawn in the Companion Cube from Portal 1 and fizzle it through cheated-in circumstances, it still plays the normal fizzling sound.

The only thing I don’t have any good debunking evidence for is the name of the Fratricide achievement, which honestly I just think the developers searched up “word for killing someone you love”, saw “Fratricide”, and said “yea thats good lets use it as the achievement name”.

And honestly, even if you ignore everything about MatPat’s theory, and try to just take the theory at face value as simply “The Companion Cubes contain corpses”... I’m sorry it’s just not compelling at all. It’s a theory that tries to make something dark for the sake of making it dark, there’s nothing compelling about it, nor is there anything about Portal that feels improved by it existing, infact, I think it actually makes it worse because it tries to give the Companion Cube a darker element that honestly just sucks.

DreamXD is a Dreamon

tubbo says dream was a transmuted dreamon which means he swaps between the two entities when triggered

dreamxd shows up after tubbo and fundy "free dream" from the dreamon and starts punching tubbo and seconds later both tubbo and fundy log off

2. times he shows up after this ritual

the next time we see dreamXD is when techno and phil find the stronghold and the end portal dreamXD logs on and destroys it and rebuilds it wrong

the third time is when he helps george and bad build a mcdonalds (💀) this is surprisingly where u see how twisted dreamXD is, when george and quackity get into an argument dreamXD claims that he is going to help george spawn trap quackity with obsidian and lava but ends up betraying george, upon seeing how upset george got abt it he immediately says that he did it to trick quackity and even tried to kill badboyhalo to comfort george (it works 😭??????)

we see how dreamXD has no issue in swapping sides just for his own entertainment and how death is his main entertainment

the forth time we see dreamXD is when bad is leading george and niki to the egg (also anyone else thinks the egg is a dreamon) and dreamXD logs on, after killing bad (poor bad lmao) he hangs out with george and he starts acting strange and revealing important things

his voice switches into a more demonic voice to an echo-y voice to finally a normal no sound effect voice

the change to the demonic voice seem to happen when he is upset example: when george asks him for stuff because he views it as george using him (tbf he is)

the change to the echo-y voice probably happens when he is upset? possessive? angry? example: george saying he would rather be with bad than with him, dreamXD starts chasing george claiming he is not going to hurt him

and then lastly the normal voice, its dream calling out to george "george its me dream!" but dreamXD brushes it off immediately saying "hm he is gone"

which is interesting cause later he says that he isnt dream but he is a part of him and he also says that he was hunted (tbf this line holds the whole theory together)

they try to prank bad and niki but it didnt go as george planned, even sending niki to hell and bringing her back

maybe its because dreamXD does not understand the concept of jokes so he shares his entertainment and what makes him laugh with george not realizing its not normal

3. the books arefor dreamXD´s entertainment

dreamXD is the creator of both the revival book and the death book

we know that if u revive someone thats not dead or if u kill someone that doesnt exist it summons dreamXD

the first time we see this happen is in the prison, when dream and techno try to revive someone thats not dead, he shows up and its the first time dream sees dreamXD

techno asks "how come god looks exactly like you?" (really nice quote)

dreamXD gives techno a bell and leaves.

the second time we see this is when sapnap kills someone who doesnt exist and he is summoned, dreamXD says its interesting and that he didnt expect sapnap to get the book

dreamXD is also connected to dreams (haha) he sees peoples dreams and gives people nightmares maybe fundys lore is also tied in here who knows

hey hey hey i made a mpdsap iceberg a little while back and i thought it would be fun to yell into the void about it, because why not. i havent explained the lore to my followers yet and ill probably reblog this to my main tbh

[little disclaimer that a lot of these are based off of made up lore and ocs on my main account. if youre strictly canon only then i wouldnt recommend this for you. if you’re interested but have no knowledge about said lore, i will give basic explanations]

LAYER 1

Joey Perleoni: joey perleoni is well known as the poster of the anti-piracy videos, who, recently, has involved himself more in the videos. joey in my lore is depicted as mostly emotionless or “empty” with no remorse for his actions.

Mario Party DS Anti-Piracy OST: on the channel, there is pretty convincing fake music for the series, there’s not much else to say about it other than it’s SUPER bangin’

Joey was arrested: in a video titled ‘the police are at my house’, joey is taken in by the police. he is presumably in prison

Luigi is the victim: in all of the videos posted, luigi is the main character, and is often considered the victim of the horrible events happening.

Hex code translations: in the videos, there are several hex codes, which can be translated to several different things. the ones we’ve found are hellsatan, luigimod, thx4luv, watchdemon.jit etc.

Reggie Fils-Amie video: on joey’s channel, his first upload has nothing to do with mpdsap, but rather it’s a video filming a joke reggie made about mother 3. it’s unknown if this is connected or not.

LAYER 2

Luxury station and Quiznos: luxury station is joey’s second account, revolving a few strange videos about a place named quiznos. it’s unknown if this is connected or not

Hudson (the man): in my lore, there is a character named hudson, who inherited the company. he’s considered the person who made the anti-piracy screens, or at least encouraged it strongly. this character is based off of some text in host hoedown, which translates to “hudson - this is not necessary. it will extend the launch considerably.” (also i know hudson is the name of the company but the time i found out it was too late)

“Joey no longer runs the account” theory: there was a theory going around after joey’s arrest that someone else is running the account, since there should be no way he should keep posting. this is probably deconfirmed by now

Joey doesn’t feel much emotion: as stated before, my depiction of joey is that of “mostly emotionless or completely empty”. there is no reason for this currently (it’s kind of a case study at this point tbfh)

DJ Hallyboo is based on MC Ballyhoo: in mario party 8 for the wii, there is a character that bears extreme resemblance to DJ Hallyboo, named MC Ballyhoo. they have the same voice clips used, similar names, and somewhat similar designs. MC Ballyhoo is the host of mario party 8. it is general considered that DJ Hallyboo is a beta version of MC Ballyhoo by fans.

LAYER 3

Electric chair: in the video simply titled “mario party ds anti piracy |”, where joey sits on a chair and boots up mario party ds, a few comments were floating around joking about him getting the electric chair. this hasn’t been confirmed

Hudson and Joey used to be friends: this is mostly outdated now, but there was a joke timeline where hudson and joey were friends in the past. not gonna cover it any further than that because it’s an old concept now

MC Ballyhoo and DJ Hallyboo are the same person: in my lore, the general consensus is that MC Ballyhoo and DJ Hallyboo are the same person, with split personalities. he is also either sentient or extremely aware.

Joey is god: in my lore, there is a mostly bizzare idea that joey is divine and has always been divine. he became “a god” by doing criminal acts, or sacrificing luigi. i can’t tell you if this is canon to my lore or not yet though - it started as a meme, but i really do like the idea somehow.

“Waiter, your finger’s in the soup!”: a mysterious quote with no real meaning that was quoted by joey a couple of times. it is connected to a short comic. nobody has found out what it means yet or why it’s being posted about.

LAYER 4

“Joey does drugs” joke: (TW // DRUG ABUSE)

this joke spawned from something i learned in school. apparently people who abuse illegal drugs gradually start feeling less dopamine doing normal activities over time, due to drug overstimulation. this was jokingly connected to joey’s chronic emptiness and inability to feel anything, with the joke that he does meth or some other illegal drug. it’s also noted that drug abusers are likely to commit other crimes. this is of course, not serious at all.

Joey stole MPDS from mcdonalds: this is a personal theory of mine. mcdonalds and MPDS have absolutely no connection - so why are they attempted to be connected at all? in the video, it describes a demo being sold in happy meals at mcdonalds - it’s a possibility that joey stole the demo from mcdonalds, and doesn’t actually have the full game.

Joey wearing the same clothes as the character: i have drawn joey with a yellow sweater (with orange sleeves) and grey shorts for a while now. in the mcdonalds video, he was wearing nearly the same outfit (with the exception of the shorts being pants). he also has brown hair, which i predicted, but it’s much darker. this is probably a coincidence but it’s pretty freaky honestly.

Techwalker: this will probably be the longest segment in the iceberg and the most lore heavy. techwalker was joey’s old channel. he made extremely different content - mainly of which was just bothering random people on the street and at conventions. he has described himself as a “journalist”, but this is all basically fun and games. these videos are now unlisted and i will not be linking them nor telling you where to find them for privacy reasons. i don’t want to get in trouble. if i find any of yall spreading it around im taking down the post and will probably not talk about this again, you dont want that, i dont want that, nobody wants that really.

in the lore, techwalker is not joey. they are 2 seperate people - but they live in the same body. what this means is that either one can take control at a time - joey is completely numb to everything around him, but tech is a pretty happy go lucky and social person. they have different personalities, morals, names and lead different lives. tech even wears glasses (assuming he has some kind of impaired eyesight), and joey does not.

(this has been confused with dissociative identity disorder. while i don’t mind people interpreting my content in whatever way they’d like, considering this is just fan-lore, this was not the intent. i do not have DID and i don’t want to speak for anyone who has DID.)

the general consensus is that tech is dead, or at least completely drowned out, and joey has taken complete control. joey and tech were practically mortal enemies and polar opposites of each other. (joey constantly being annoyed or uninterested in tech’s hyperactivity, and tech not trusting joey to be responsible or ‘law abiding’)

You're not bothering me! Sorry for the late response too, it's been a busy week.

But okay yeah I mean she wasn't exactly dark, she had a bit of a tanned "olive" skin tone yes but I dont recall her being any darker than that. And yes they did make her already fair skin tone, even fairer. But I guess that's just the art style they went with cuz everyone in those sprays are lighter even tho they were pretty pale to begin with. Like yeah mercy is white but she wasn't ghostly white with pink accents like in her sprays 😂

And omggg I could go on forever about how much I hate how incompetent chu is and how he's always backtracking and retconning. Hell, he pretty much rewrote Reaper/Gabe entirely from what he used to be (why a lot of fans think they cancelled the comic for tbh). Gabe was way edgier and hated 76 and just.... so stereotypical and emo it was a joke. Then chu went towards more of how the fans were writing him to be like, u know, a likeable character lmfao. But he also does a lot of weird things like taking out dialogue then saying he "doesn't remember ever writing that" even tho millions of people heard it themselves in game... most popular one I can think of being when they took out the dialogue between reaper and mercy that heavily implied she created the monster that he became. And sometime after that I remember pharmercy fans saying they took out dialogue between them that was kinda shippy (idk much about that one cuz I dont ship them lmao but it is weird they dont rly talk to each other in spawn anymore).

BASICALLY he just...isn't good. He backtracks and rewrites things all the time, even things that you would think would have been set in stone (ex: d.va being the #1 starcraft player). He acts like stuff never existed if he's REALLY trying to erase something from the past lore. And half of the things he writes just doesnt make any sense to begin with! When the game originally launched he put out a piece of lore that clashed what he said directly in an interview (I believe it had to do with Mercy getting Genji after Hanzo "killed" him, don't remember full details atm tho). He also originally said Mei was frozen for 30 years which raised a million and 1 questions by itself, especially how Mercy would have known Mei if it were 30yrs, which made us think Mercy should be about Ana's age and ended up having a huge rabbit hole of conspiracy theories ranging from Mercy being an immortal necromancer to a ton of other things. some thoughts about the most recent preview of koroq

i..i saw the most recent preview, and i’ve been thinking about it for a few days! before i make this post i should really admit that i have NOT actually read koroq, but as someone who’s been keeping up on the summaries and someone generally interested in the metanarrative of assclass i figured i’d throw a few ideas/concepts/analysises out there because this chapter has raised some really interesting questions in my mind.

so from what i’ve gotten of his backstory in the koroq au, korosensei was once a great (human) hero who defeated the previous big bad. equally as goofy as the korosensei we know and love today, he was a... big dork. but when he defeated the big bad his sword was cursed and implanted tentacles in him, designating him to become the next big bad. the only reason he awoke before his personality had changed was his bug, and he decided to train students to defeat him when he inevitably went apeshit. (correct me if i’m wrong, here)

this is generally a pretty neat way to handle his... everything in a fantasy au, and it’s brought up some ideas/theories of mine, which i’ll detail under the cut

-i’m genuinely hoping they don’t just drop this korosensei turning evil plot thread, or play it as a one off gag. more than anything i’d actually be fascinated to see if they did a reversal of his arc in the actual assclass, and have the monster korosensei is becoming take the personality of the reaper. seeing as how hero!korosensei was the same big goofball we knew, i’d love to see the reappearance of the cold, calculating reaper’s personality if korosensei degenerates in this au. now that we’ve seen goofy human korosensei give me evil assassin octopus korosensei.

-as everyone knows, (and as i’ve heard a few people upset about), no-one from korosensei’s actual canon backstory has appeared yet. but i’m not sure i’d count them out yet. for one, i can see 2.0 taking up a role where he attempts to become the next big bad for some reason or another (perhaps believing thats the only role he can fulfill in life), and purposefully trying to off korosensei with the cursed sword. similarly, i would genuinely not be surprised if y*nagisawa was the source of the curse in the first place, and has something to gain from keeping the big bad cycle working. i... do not know where aguri would fit into all of this (part of kayano’s backstory? helpful to getting through to korosensei? part of his reverse-character-development in a shocking development? anything works) but if she doesn’t appear i WILL go apeshit considering how poorly canon itself has already treated her role in the story.

-and most importantly: what the hell does anyone intend to do about this curse!? i STRONGLY doubt korosensei would want any of his students to. like. become evil and destroy a bunch of shit. so im interested to see if they’ll be looking into a way to break the curse before they kill off korosensei, or if korosensei will attempt to end his life without getting any of the students harmed in the crossfire (which. still raises the question of what the curse would do if the big bad offed themselves. because i have no idea. would it spawn a new big bad?). and, of course, the question of why the sword reacted most to nagisa. as we know, in canon, nagisa is the one to kill korosensei. will he do this in koroq too? will nagisa inherit the curse? if so, i’m interested to see if the koroq au will go down the path of assassin!nagisa that canon nagisa decided not to. 

all in all a very interesting chapter that raises a LOT of interesting questions. and if this one off joke manga ends up boiling all of this down to a one off joke i will admittedly not be surprised, but in the meantime it’s fun to throw darker/more meta ideas out there.

What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?he’s a patient dude! eneko can likely sit still doing nothing for as long as his physiology will allow aka until he needs to go to the bathroom or smth. he does well w low activity as he’s an introspective person

How easy is it for your character to laugh?FAIrly easy?? on a level of one to ten w one being laughs at anything that moves or doesn’t move i’d say he’s a.. 6. ok so not that easily like he IS fairly taciturn but he will smile and laugh at a good joke esp if he’s comfy around the person making it

How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)by crying- no jk he doesn’t… cry… emotions? what are those??? (thats a lie he’s an emotional mess) he will plan for the next day, strategizing and such but that’s honestly rlly bad for him. he stresses easily. on nights when he’s got a clearer head he’ll hum softly or read if he’s not feeling too guilty abt burning off candles. he does like night walks they always clear his mind

How easy is it to earn their trust?oh oof that’s a tricky one. not that easy but at the same time- OKAy yeah just not that easily from one being the easiest to ten being the hardest he’s likely a 8

How easy is it to earn their mistrust?VERY hard. once you’ve gained his trust he will be LOYAL af to u eneko is quiet n not the most expressive but he will absolutely go down in flames for someone he’s deemed trustworthy. a solid 9. 

Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable?laws are flexible defo. he PREFERS structure but if morality trumps laws he will break them. it also helps that he’s lowkey part of a rebellion so technically his existence in the present is breaking the law

What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?god save us all. he’s a nostalgic dude so uh, oh damn i dont have backstory for him yet i made him last night rainy stop bullying me but ykw we’re doing this. flowers defo. queen anne’s lace n bluebells esp? bring back memories n also pumpkin stew. mixed memories w that one. queen anne’s lace mean sanctuary n bluebells mean gratitude which is LOWKEY ironic considering they spawn memories of burning along w memories of his older sisters so yes?? he does like remembering his sisters but no not in that context. the stew is a weird reminder of his first love n that’s. also complicated 

What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child?talk more and talk better. he’s got a bit of habit of being short abt things and the middle sister of the fam was ALWAYS getting on his case abt no u can’t word it like that but the eldest was and is a terrible influence n absolutely encouraged it bc she found it hilarious. it’s good they love each other i swear

Do they swear? Do they remember their first swear word?yes he’s part of a rebellion and a soldier what more do u eXPECt and no he doesn’t remember his first swear word. he also doesn’t curse that much dont get me wrong. he has to be comfy around u

What lie do they most frequently remember telling? Does it haunt them?gosh uh. eneko is still v underdeveloped so i .. WELL I CANNOt tell u in the present it’s prbly smth angsty involving his sisters or his lovER but the answer to does it haunt him? yes absolutely he must Suffer :)

Is what they say usually thought of on the spot, or do they rehearse it in their mind first?he’s usually fairly forthright so he sounds like he’s saying whatever comes to mind but the reality is he says abt 1% of what he’s thinking and he won’t say things that are quite obviously rude. who knows tbh maybe he gains secret enjoyment from watching ppl squirm under his bluntness eyes emoji

What makes their stomach turn?torture n he hates the sight of bones. blood he can stand but bones? no thanks. unfort in the business they’re in he comes across both of those more than he’d like. he also hates working in the theoretical. it’s unnerving but he’s fine if someone he trusts is wading thru the abstract for him aka thank u @ kent for being the resident intuitive

How does jealousy manifest itself in them (they become possessive, they become aloof, etc)? it’s ugly when jealousy rears its head in him. he doesn’t SAY anything but his actions become more erratic and he has a harder time focusing. it’s likely he’ll become more impulsive. he’s not DANGEROUs per se but it’s not a situation u want him in

How does envy manifest itself in them (they take what they want, they become resentful, etc)? envy he’s better about. mostly bc unlike w jealousy he doesn’t already have the thing. it’s smth he’ll just push down and soldier thru like he does w most uncomfy things in his life

Is sex something that they’re comfortable speaking about? To whom? oh MY GOD DONT TALK ABT SEX that’s SCANDALOUS- the answer is no he finds it unprofessional in his line of work but he would be comfortable discussing it w his s/o

What are their thoughts on marriage? good. he approves. however, for himself he finds the prospect unlikely considering the high risk nature of what he’s involved himself w. he expects to die before 35 in all seriousness

What is their preferred mode of transportation? in the sweet embrace of death horseback

What causes them to feel dread? the knowledge that everything’s falling apart. that fate and circumstance are slowly but surely chipping away at the very foundation of what u live for and there’s absolutely nothing u can do to stop it. also freaking the appearance of the antagonist or his minions

Would they prefer a lie over an unpleasant truth? in theory? no. in practice? he’s actually p sensitive that’s a difficult one to answer. it would greatly depend on the circumstance but in the long run he prefers the truth

Do they usually live up to their own ideals? yes but in his own eyes, no. he holds himself to extremely high standards and is very self critical. also he has rlly unachievable ideals he’s a lil bit idealistic beneath the guise of realism

Who do they most regret meeting? ohohOHO jk i have no idea not there yet in the story but prbly the antagonist he’s a b

Who are they the most glad to have met? funnily enough? he could almost say the antagonist. he’s the reason why eneko’s working as hard as he is for what he is. without the introduction of the antagonist he would’ve been oblivious to the terrible injustice around him and likely ended up a victim by some obscure mindless death order. however the person he truly admires is the rebel member who took him under her wing however she’s still in the works so i can’t give u much on her

Do they have a go-to story in conversation? Or a joke? i don’t think so, no

Could they be considered lazy? NOPE not in any sense of the word. eneko works extremely hard. he’s v dedicated n dutiful

How hard is it for them to shake a sense of guilt? oh, very hard. he’s naturally altruistic so he tends to take failures to heart and internalize them and considering the dangerous line of work he’s in he oftens has guilt building up inside him. he’ll likely carry it w him for the rest of his life once he’s decided to be guilty abt smth. if someone doesn’t help him w it it can break him down in ugly ways

How do they treat the things their friends come to them excited about? Are they supportive? yes!! he’s a pure son. you’ll definitely get a smile out of him if smth good has happened to u. he’s very supportive of his friends. he would die for his friends and likely all of u i just want u all to know this 

Do they actively seek romance, or do they wait for it to fall into their lap?neither. he finds seeking romance irresponsible w his lifestyle. as i previously stated he expects to die young

Do they have a system for remembering names, long lists of numbers, things that need to go in a certain order (like anagrams, putting things to melodies, etc)? he has fairly good memory esp w faces! but otherwise? i would say he learns best by touch. he’s a tactile person and also fairly auditory. music defo helps him remember things

What memory do they revisit the most often? prbly the day he separated from his sisters. it’s not a particularly good memory but it’s seared in his mind

How easy is it for them to ignore flaws in other people? he doesn’t ignore ppl’s flaws per se? he’s p perceptive so it’s difficult for him to just turn a blind eye at least within his own mind but eneko is v tolerant of ppl and accepting. even if he dislikes u it’s doubtful you’ll know he’s fairly good at keeping up the same respect for most everyone he comes in contact w. but yeah? he knows what flaws are there but he will simply accept ppl bc he knows everyone, including himself, esp himself, has many flaws

How sensitive are they to their own flaws?oh oof yeah he’s?? a p sensitive guy so while he recognizes his own faults jabs to his weak spots will hurt him and he’ll prbly sit on the accusation or callout for days esp if someone accuses him of being selfish or immoral or not having done enough for the ppl he cares abt (smth along those lines) he’d absolutely hate that. but if u tell him he’s blunt he’s going to be like im well aware of that

How do they feel about children? he’s SUCH A DAD he loves kids and he’s rlly good w them they love him bc he’s SOFT ok but he doesn’t plan on having them himself even tho he’d like to for the exact same reasons he isn’t pursuing romance/marriage

How badly do they want to reach their end goal? enough that he’d die to reach it

If someone asked them to explain their sexuality, how would they do so?eneko is either demi or grasexual w pan preferences. he’s also panromantic. if someone asked for explanation he’d be like “i’m attracted to people of all genders” and just leave it at that unless ofc they were like RLLY curious or smth but he doesn’t rlly consider himself demi or pan or anything he just knows he isn’t straight LOL

1) How many works in progress do you have?

Oh. Dear. God. *ahem* Shit. Let me count. 4 DA, 2 longer fic but 1 is almost done and 2 short stories. I use the word short... Loosely. 4 original novels. And at least 4 long ME fics and two drabble but I know I'm forgetting some. I have them all typed on a sticky note on my computer. We'll ballpark it at 15? Mostly long fics.

2) Do you/would you write fanfiction?

I do. I struggle with keeping up on a schedule tho cause when my depression kicks in, and it has a lot this year, I quit writing. Then I feel like a horrible writer for letting readers down and feel like no one will ever trust me as a writer and ill never get a strong reader base and Ughhh. I'm trying to do better but its hard not to give up. At least on sharing them cause Ill still write them.

3) Do you prefer paperback or ebooks?

Paperback all the way. At first I treated ebooks like Satan spawn but I've grown more tolerant. I see the advantage of being able to instantly get a new one or carry lots with you when you need luggage space for other things or to minimize what you carry. But even if I get them in ebook I always eventually get paper.

4) When did you start writing?

The first serious time I recall was... 6th grade so... I was... 13. And it was 2006. I think. Shit I have bad memory.

5) Do you have someone you trust that you share your work with?

I've co-written over 250 stories with my best friend Briana since 2006 when we met. She's the one who really got me into it, where Id only dabbled before. No one but us has seen these and likely ever will XD. Here on Tumblr @skylo-ben and @superb-mediocrity see all my stuff before I post it. First time I've ever had beta readers and I adore them both to pieces.

6) Where is your favorite place to write?

Place doesn't really matter cause when I write the rest of the world goes away. Time doesn't exist. I'm there. But I usually have to have some great music playing way too loud in my headphones. Helps block out outside distractions.

7) Favorite book as a child?

A Wrinkle in Time. Also anything else there. A Wind in the Door. A Swiftly Tilting Planet. Many Waters. Also anything by David Eddings. I loved Elfquest, still do. Hobbit/LOTR. (Are you realizing I can't pick just one?)

8) Writing for fun or for publication?

¿Por que no los dos? Seriously tho, I want to eventually write as my job... Whether thats a supported fanfic writer or a published author. I was hoping to use fanfic as practice to get advice on how I could improve when I dive into my original works... But then I realized I have no idea how to market, approach/talk to new people, or generally be part of society. So... That plan has gone stale at least until im in a less stressful environment and have more energy to devote to marketing my works. Instead I'm writing for fun like I always have and always will.

9) Have you taken any writing classes?

One. I mean aside from your typical English 112. (My favorite memory of that hellhole was everyone's faces when I wrote a how to essay on how to perform an emergency tracheotomy). I took creative writing and he gave me a D (no jokes, minds out of gutter) because I can't for the life of me stay under a MAXIMUM word count. Fucker.

10) What inspired you to write?

Ive always lived in a daydream. I was miserable where I was at so Id constantly run away and test theories and ideas through character building and interaction in my head. It was my coping mechanism even if it became unhealthily close to dissociation many times. Eventually it just made sense to start writing it down.
