Sorrow - IAMX. ive been obsessively into IAMX recently to the extreme. for months. and i love soooooooo so many songs of theirs. but this song? Sorrow? it's the one that did it for me. I Come With Knives was the initial one that kicked this off, but going to Sorrow is what made me like "man i DESPERATELY need to listen to more of their music". NOT my very first IAMX song, that title belongs to Volatile Times, which ive known for like some ten years :p but only recently listened to more of their music and i have NOT looked back. as a bonus Sorrow reminds me a lot of ITNL Vash. perhaps part of the fixation on it lol

Nothing Personal - Des Rocs. picking a favorite song from him was nearly impossible bc im obsessed obsessed obsessed with his music. legit last year on my spotify wrapped all of my top 5 songs were his. OBSESSED. 'A Real Good Person In A Real Bad Place' is still undisputedly one of my fav albums EVER & the reason for that top 5 songs thing. but Nothing Personal is the first Des Rocs song i ever heard & what made me go "Oh my God???" & it still makes me lose my total shit when i listen to it lksdjflskjdf. honorary mention to Why Why Why, which was the other one i considered for him. also love that shit sooo much.

I Never Told You What I Do for a Living - My Chemical Romance. just so you know picking a single favorite song for MCR was near impossible. so much of their music makes me absolutely insane in the best of ways & picking just ONE?????? impossible. but i chose this one bc it's one that makes me EXTRA lose my shit anytime i listen to it. like fucking Belting it out. this one's The One. i can't give you special mentions for MCR bc there are too many. too fucking many. god i still love MCR so much

Armageddon - Blue Stahli. fucking love Blue Stahli's stuff, it's SOOO fun to listen to, & Armageddon probably really is my fav of theirs. i end up just jumping along to this song so much. it's a jumping song !!! so much fun to listen to !!!! also really paints a picture of me that a fav song of mine is just "Armageddon, come come and get it! Armageddon, baby!" the whole The Devil album is soooooooooo much fun & also an album i had a Mood for. back in uhh oct 2021 i wanna say. around there. special mentions for Takedown, Kill Me Every Time, and Power Outrage (this last one especially, OH MAN this also makes me lose my shit in the best of ways)

Mr. Fear - SIAMES. in a dramatic tone change from the other choices, i really am quite fond of SIAMES's music. it's my chill music. & this song specifically is sooooooooo full of longing and wistfulness. it's the first one of theirs i listened to & it's so......... waaaaaaaaaaaaa.. special mention to Brothers, which i very nearly chose bc im obsessed with that song too, but Mr. Fear has had my heart in a chokehold since i first listened to it Years ago. had to answer that one.

uhm. there are 5! additional special mentions to Capricorn by Xan Griffin, Maniac by Stray Kids, and Lovesong by TXT, which are all individual songs i've had MASSIVE obsessions with in the past. the Repeat On End kinds of songs. im being a bad STAY by not including Stray Kids in the favorite bands list but i havent been listening to their music as much lately. feeling these top 5 much more rn

1. bisexual i dont even care he is so bisexual its insane.

2. autistic (i swear i could say this about any of the characters, but its so real). Although id say hes sensory seeking when it comes to sound (metal music enjoyer- me too man), after a concert the crowd to exit was just way too much, so he is loop earplugs no.1 fan; he gets overstimulated pretty easy. Even as he got older he still used them, as the fbi isnt exactly a calm or quiet place, so he uses them frequently and loves how subtle they are. Sometimes when hes overstimulated he is sooo prone to having a verbal shutdown where he just…cant talk. usually he likes to be alone and isolate himself, but hes learnt through booth that it’s counterproductive so booth will sit with him quietly until its over, and he does the same for booth- its a mutual agreement that they never discuss, it just happens. I also think later on aubrey would sit with him too (im an aubrey-sweets friendship truther at heart). He’s potentially got adhd too? im undecided on that one.

^also!!! during school he 100% had a small seperate room to take exams in and thats so me projecting i just see it.

3. folklore enjoyer. his favourite song is cardigan, he is so cardigan coded its not even funny. He totally hides the fact hes listened to it for years, but he loves it so much. (me)

4. he is perks of being a wallflower. like…that is him!! maybe im just projecting, but please charlie is so him and he is so charlie. im insane about this for real, i cant even articulate it.

7. He really struggled to think about his future when he was a kid. He spent so long living in an environment where he had to fight for his survival on the daily, that he just couldnt picture himself having a future. Even once he was adopted by his parents his heart sank at the idea that he would have to have a future and he had no way of comprehending that he would make it that far. That was until he found psychology, he originally looked into it to try and understand himself and give him support during school and social situations, but he found it fulfilling in a way he had never experienced before (first special interest joy!!). Thats when he knuckled down at school and finally found a way he wanted to go in life.

Ah, what medium of art don't I appreciate? I love art! I love reading, listening to music (and singing, but I'm not great at it hahah), sculpture, etc.

With reading, I mostly read fanfics lately, but I enjoy lots of typical books and authors too: Chaos Walking (Patrik Ness), the Lord of the Rings, Rick Riordan's books in general, MXTX's books, the Castle in the Sky. Those are the ones that come to mind first, my faves~ Of course, I include here manga and comics, there's sooo many I love as well. I do draw, but don't usually do comics (maybe someday!). Lately I've been loving Jujutsu Kaisen and Akagami no Shirayukihime, but I could recomend so many good ones.

With music I just always need some music if I'm not watching anything that has sound otherwise, I love so many kinds of styles, but I have a preference for melodic, mellow songs~ specially ones that I can sing along too. Lots of classical too (Chopin is my fave~). And piano is my fave instrument to listen to <3 I kinda talked about music already in the previous ask, so I won't go into more detail hahah

For sculpture I don't really have a particular artist I like, it's more a casual love. But all those "realistic" sculptures are mind blowing to me, how it seems completely real, specially fabric or expressions, but it's made of marble or another hard material.... man, so much talent, I admire them so much.

If we talk about drawing/painting I'm not proficient at but I still admire: watercolour is gorgeous and I am incapable of it. I love the art made with it! Oil and classic paintings as well, there's so many classic artists who have made amazing pieces. My fave is Monet! But I also greatly admire the ones from the victorian period in general. The way they render fabric and clothes is SO GOOD. I kinda emulate it unconsciously when I do my shadding ahah but I am sure it looks nothing like that xD Like, look at this art called "Flirtation" by Frédéric Soulacroix, that fabric 🙏🙏🙏 And the background is gorgeous too.

Also, I really enjoy watching movies/tv shows. Wether they're animation or not. Specially if they have good plot and/or if they have good photography/animation. There's so many beautiful works of arts in that medium as well. Ghibli movies are some of my faves (Howl's Moving Castle is my fave movie ever), Lord of the Rings movies are also masterpieces. I've also enjoyed lately the Poirot movies they've been making recently, they're really interesting and have great photography as well~

I have to say, I don't often watch theater/musicals because they're expensive and I'm broke af. But the times I went to see some, they're amazing as well 🙏 I'll include dance performances here too, because they're in a similar category to me.

I enjoy seeing architecture as well. My fave period for architecture is gothic! The way they did all those high arches and beautifully decorated walls. And the stained glasses! Sooo many great buildings!! Most of the ones I can see around where I live and was able to travel are churches or cathedrals. They are such beautiful buildings, even though I'm not religious in any sense at all, I always love visiting them and seeing them. But there's sooooo many amazing artstyles out there as well! Lique some Mosques are absolutelly stunning, with their intricate colorful patterns! There's so much good architecture to admire as well...

Also, I'll add that videogames are a form of art in my opinion as well, and I admire lots of creators. There's SO MUCH variety in this media, it's insane. Stuff like Return of Obra Dinn or Papers Please by Lucas Pope (who makes it all, including music, he's so talented), Baldur's Gate 3 (currently enjoying this one), Chants of Sennar, Binding of Isaac, Fire Emblem, Kingdom Hearts, etc. So many different styles but so fun and interesting. And also, so many good RPGs with amazing stories I don't think can be told in a better way using other media (Persona series, Tales of series, Dragon Age, the Nonary Games, Mother saga, Xenoblade Chronicles, etc.)

Sorry for the big rambling, I guess you didn't expect me to go into such a extended answer hahahah I really, really love all art of creation, it's such an amazing thing that someone visualizes something and can create it so everyone else can see.

I've said this over and over again, I wish I were filthy rich, so rich I could never ever use all my money, only so I could be an art mecenas (I think it's called patron in English, I like the word we use in Spanish tho XD) and give money to aaaall my favourite artists so they can just create without any worry at all, just focus on their art and not the money they need to make to survive. Just create their own stories, characters, art pieces, or create fanworks of any kind. I don't even want to request stuff I want to see, I just want to see what they want to create! What their mind can imagine and how they see the world!!!

Top 5 horror movies? (and why? if you want!)

1. SAW (2004) baby!!!!

Besides it being what this whole blog is abt and all it just has a special special place in my heart, its been my most consistent interest ever (almost 8 years now!! wowie) and its like you can feel the love that was put into it when you’re watching it. Thats not the only reason i love it by a long shot but u can probably scroll around this blog and get a good idea how i feel about it lol, Saw is the Movie of All Time Baby!!!!!!

2. Nope

A recent one but JEEZ it has not left my head since i first saw it, i have a soft spot for siblings and sci-fi and it really checked all the boxes for things i enjoy. Silly dialogue to offset the horror, small cast of characters, AMAZING alien concept, super yummy symbolism, its so good!!!

3. Child’s Play 2 / Bride of Chucky

I’m a big fan of the whole child’s play series but i have a hard time choosing between these two, one has Kyle my friend Kyle, kid but not toddler Andy, and the whole factory section of the movie at the end(chefs kiss). and the other has TIFFANY!!!!🥰 and is where child’s play really starts to lean more into its camp comedy aspect that i love oh so dearly

4. Little Shop of Horrors

You may have noticed by now i have a soft spot for comedy in my horror pics… i know its really not actually scary but this movie has always been near and dear to my heart. i’m a big fan of musical/general theatrics and the practical effects/puppetry are to DIE FOR!!! we looove people eating plants here.. (shoutout to the OG ending)

5. Ginger Snaps

It was hard to pick a final one honestly but i find myself coming back to ginger snaps so often its gotta be on here. inspired by an american werewolf in london and INSPIRED jennifers body.. THESE GIRLS ARE NOT ALRIGHT!!! it just really nails the horror of being a weird teen girl and has sooo many striking visuals and soo much gnarly werewolf shit… amazing..

21: ARMENIA: This song makes me laugh because it literally reads like a tumblr post. Oh, you want to read books, make art and visit old bookstores? Ok girlblogger. The song is pretty weird, the (rap?) bridge comes out of nowhere and chorus is repetitive (ok I GET IT, you decide to be good, do good and look good). The last 30 seconds are great though, I wish she would sing the whole song in Armenian.

20: GERMANY: The German accent :’) I’m just happy Germany sent something original, and it’s catchy as hell! Not really my thing though, but I can really appreciate it.

19: SERBIA: The “hello?” reminds me of Shane Dawson for some reason and it’s pretty off putting LOL. Other than that this song is pretty cool! I love the instrumentals and visuals. My boyfriend says Luke Black looks like he plays League Of Legends so there's that.

16: MALTA: This feels different from what Malta usually sends and I like that! I love a funky saxophone so this is pretty good to me.

14: CROATIA: TRACTOR! This is so funny and catchy, the most unique song of the year for sure.

12: ITALY: This has definitely been a grower for me, at first I thought it was meh and didn’t stick out to me at all. But after a few more listens it has really grown on me! The pre-chorus is so good, but it’s not one of the best Italian entries there is.

11: UKRAINE: Greaaaat song!! It feels different in a good way, definitely a breath of fresh air.

10: AZERBAIJAN: Maybe this years most unpopular opinion, but this is GOOD, ok?? This song reminds me of spring and it feels like it belongs to the soundtrack of a 00’s romcom.. And the rap parts are really good, I won’t accept any questions about this right now.

9: LITHUANIA: This is really good and I’ve listened to it a lot. Love the lithuanian chorus and I loooooove her orange outfit. And omg her VOCALS!! I’m scared it won’t make it far in Liverpool though :(

8: NETHERLANDS: This song took me a few listens but now I’m hooked. The power ballad duet we all needed. In an ocean of upbeat songs this song is a nice calm break.

7: NORWAY: VOCALS!! So good. So catchy. Great performance. Amazing outfit. Just really really good overall.

6: AUSTRIA: This so soooo fun and catchy and good. I LOVE IT!! There are a lot of upbeat pop songs this year but this is for sure one of the best ones. Excited to see what they will do on stage.

5. ESTONIA: LOVE this!! I’m hooked from the first bar. I feel like it should play in a scene in a movie where the main character is sitting at a cafe, looking out the rainy window, thinking about all the people who wronged them. It’s just a powerful song.

4. LATVIA: Love this so much. The chorus hits me every single time. PLEASE DONT WAKE UP WAKE UP!!

3: FINLAND: This song just has it all; rock, pop, lyrics everyone can sing along to, male titties. If you don’t go ape shit crazy while listening to this song then I don’t know what to tell you… SO! GOOD!

2: SLOVENIA: I’ve been hooked on this song since the first listen, I keep trying to sing along as if I knew slovene. This is just so good, the vibe, the instrumentals, I just want to DANCE!

1: CZECHIA: This songs chorus makes me absolutely sob, the SISTERHOOD of it all. The costumes, the four different languages, the meaning…This is my absolute favourite of the year, in a perfect world it would win it all. I just hope they nail the live performance because the national final was not very good… I hope they bring the elements (and budget lol) of the music video to stage, I'm obsessed with their costumes.

I'm going to be ticking design for every single character specifically because I think their Puella Magis costume FUCK with like maybe the exception of Homura who's my least favourite but. Still. Also Madoka has a bow except it's a plant and stuff and it's sooo cool. I just like her character a lot, she's really nice

Next, Sayaka :

She's not a sweet child like Madoka but she is kind of a Beast in her own way. Also she gets the special aesthetic treatment because her fighting style is so cool and her design incorporates music aesthetic and that is just sweet

Anyway Mami :

My favourite thing about Mami is, drumroll, the fighting style. I am especially in love with the way she just creates guns, it is SO entertaining to watch. I have a couple of issues with her, mainly due to how she acts when things go bad, but mainly I just haven't thought about her much, which isn't true for the next girl, KYOKO

Kyoko is my favourite, no questions asked. In any given story if there's a character who likes fighting and is good at it and is even a little bit interesting they have a good shot of being my favourite and she does not disappoint. Kyoko makes every scene she's in interesting, has a super satisfying arc (though that could be said of every prominent character in the show but still) and we could have an eating contest. 10/10 one of the characters of all time

Last but not least, Homura. You may get the impression that I dislike her from this graph but I think she's a brilliantly executed character and certainly interesting to follow (plus she's one of those people who will do anything to achieve their goals which is always cool in a character), I just have a bit of a thing against her because of the ending of Rebellion, but she's still super cool except I don't like her design as much as the others.

Anyway WHEN DOES THE SEQUEL TO REBELLION RELEASE I NEED TO SEE IT GIVE IT TO ME RIGHT NOW

Got him at the start of the game so he was my first main 🥺 alongside him my faves are heizou, fischl, yanfei, gaming, faruzan, layla... well theres many of them lol. and recently sethos! I love his dynamic with everyone. Actually sumeru characters feel like family it might be my fav region for that. I was shocked when he had bigger connection to scara. I love the black cat and golden retriever dynamic they kinda have going on and their parallels.

I'm super sorry for the super late response T-T I have already addressed it in one post, but I have been super busy filling and paying for my next year (banks are truly my no. 1 public enemy,,,), a few trips back and forth to see friends (I stayed in a place with minimal internet signal for more than a week TnT, among other trips) and doing a lot of house chores because all my household members except for me are working, so I clean all the house (which I don't mind, but there's a lot of work and too much heat T.T and I end up in my bed after everything lol).

I do main Noelle! I went to see my stats and realized I have to get her a better crit rate percentage because she does so much crit dmg... I use 4p Husk of Opulent Dreams + Prototype Archaic (I have seen guides saying that Whiteblind is better, so I might sacrifice my lvl. 90 Prototype Archaic for Whiteblind and change one piece of my artifacts so it has better rate,, choices choices) I will add images below cut!!

To preface this, I am not a meta player so take my opinions with a grain of salt lolol

So much dmg,, so little rate,,,,,,, I usually take whatever piece to add that element dmg, in this case Gladiator.

My favorite region is def Mondstadt, but Sumeru is my second one!! I like all the character dynamics and exploration in Sumeru, both rainforest and desert (unpopular opinion, it seems (≧∇≦)/) also the lore?? Absolutely fantastic. And Sethos? He has been incorporated to the fave characters very quickly, I loved his interactions with Cyno and whatever he has going on with Wanderer lolol Like wise, I loved Gaming, such a cutie and honestly a real good guy, he became one of my favorites very soon.

I ended up making a ranking with only four stars (as to make it fair), but only lore/storytelling wise, since meta is dead anyways (/j) and how hoyo managed their reveal and relevance (?) I think seeing the rankings will explain mostly everything but if you have any questions please feel free to ask!!

(I want to say that I like all the characters, I am a person who finds it east to love characters lol)

I watched the doccy who Christmas special.. and can I say first and formost, ncuti SLAYS, GOD he’s gorgeous!

Gonna ramble about the special now for a lil cause that seems to be what we talk about often (hehehe)

Sooo!! The doctor and ruby are amazing! The lil musical sequence.. woah.. Ncuti can sing my goodness!

He also got a few emotional scenes too! The one where he’s talking with rubys mum on that alternate timeline and he’s upset is just, perfect, sold me that his doctor still is emotional and has that timelord in him, I know he’s ment to be happy and fun which is awesome but I still hope we get a glimpse of that dark doctor, sort of how Matt smith did it!?

The sonic ‘screwdriver’ is growing on me slowly, you don’t see it too much tbh so there’s no time to go EWWWW, I think it looks interesting and unique!

This may sound stupid but, I’m a lil frustrated he’s going to get different outfits each episode it seems, I absolutely love ncutis orange/brown leather jacket, (mostly orange, I think, I can’t remember off the top of my head) shirt and trousers! Not saying he doesn’t look awesome in the other stuff but, it feels like a part of the doctor is their look and he isn’t going to really have a central one per say?

Overall really enjoyed it! Mostly for Ncuti as I’ve been so excited for him, although I’d be lying if I didn’t giggle a lil to myself with the silly personal jokey head cannon that Eric (also played by Ncuti) from sex education became the doctor, I can see a lil Eric in him 😭

Omg have fun at the Barbie movie! I'm so curious about it if you wanna give a short review. Maybe I will see it later this week on a cheap day. I think I've heard good things so far. Unfortunately I'm not sure if either show is going to work out at this point..and they are on the same day anyway lol. But I found out they will show it in another city nearby in a few months if so hopefully I can make it work then. I love Les Mis sooo much and was really excited cuz I haven't seen it before but it's also a really popular show and the balcony was all sold out, which never happened before. I thought I would be able to still get tickets the day of since that's what I usually do. We'll see what happens with the Paramore show but I'm hoping it works out. For surprise songs, I'm not that picky..it's more that I have a few that I wouldn't want..which is maybe 3 of what's left lol. I Can See You would be cool since she never performed it and it's become a new favorite. I like anything from Lover and Rep and older stuff like debut and Fearless too. I would be happy with one older song and one newer since that makes it interesting but there's nothing I absolutely hate either. hi friend!!!! i had the BEST time at barbie!!! i sobbed through so much of it (but i am a crier). my friends and i all held hands at one point and cried and it was just such a 🥺 moment for me. and just so, so special to watch it with some of my closest friends. i am such a like, pink, barbie girl and i just really, genuinely adored it. i didn't know much about what the movie was going to be about going in but it exceeded all my expectations. i never felt like the movie dragged or was too long or didn't hold my interest. the costumes were stunning. the set design is beautiful; it's just a visually beautiful movie, and you could tell how much care and thought was put into every detail. i'm a sucker for small things like that, and i know there's a lot of references i definitely missed. i'm thinking that i might go see it again at some point, but i think i'll be too busy this week and then i'm in chicago next week for lollapalooza, so it might have to wait till i'm back. i definitely want to see it with my mom. i just ... i loved it. america ferrera totally blew me away, as did margot robbie. i just ... genuinely really loved this movie. there were some bits that just made me laugh (some genuine laughter, some nervous "oh this hits too close to home" laughter). and the soundtrack is so good — billie eilish's, dua lipa's and charli xcx's songs in particular were standouts for me! trying to hold off buying the vinyl right now, because... well, pink (and also because i am on a vinyl buying ban for now). oh noooo :( i'm sorry to hear about les mis, but i really hope that the other city will work for you! i am keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you 🤍 it really is just such a special show and has such a special place in my heart (and i think it would have a special place in my heart even if i wasn't named after it). and this tour cast is so fun! i particularly loved gavorche; i left the theatre and was texting my friends about how phenomenal he was. and as i'm sure you've seen on my tumblr, i've been thinking about les mis a lot since. i started my reread/annotation project of it a little bit ago, and i'm trying to do "a book" a month, and then finish by the end of the year! i think i might rewatch the movie (or a bootleg of it) sometime soon, i definitely miss it. you'll have to let me know if you end up going to paramore! i definitely want to get into paramore's music more; i know some songs but i haven't done a discography deep dive yet. there's a lot of artists that i want to do that for and i used to be pretty good about listening to entire discographies while at work but i've mostly been lolla prepping and listening to the music of the artists we'll be seeing! i can see you is such a fun song! i'm really hoping she'll sing either foolish one or castles crumbling at my shows (i'm going both saturday and sunday) in terms of speak now songs, but i'll honestly be happy with anything and everything! i've been telling all my friends i'd love something from debut (especially since it isn't part of the setlist), but i'll genuinely be happy with anything she sings! i have a running joke with my friends that every surprise song we're like "i'm marked so unsafe :("/"this was such a loss for me" because we wanted to hear that song live — just a testament to taylor's discography, really! i hope you get songs that you love when you see her! are you going to the friday show or the saturday one? i'll be thinking of you next week! hope you have a good weekend, friend! 🤍 remember to drink some water + take it easy! hope you're enjoying your current read(s)!! x

crying feels too painful. i panicked and cried for days and it just hurt

i don’t want to listen to music because everything makes me feel insane

at the same time i blew out my ears for a couple days cuz i was listening to a song i don’t even remember which one but i turned it up all the way in my car while i was driving to walmart because i was feeling so fucked up in the head honestly i didn’t know what to do. i needed the vibration to shake the grief from me and i was screaming but like sooo over it. like i couldn’t even feel it like i didn’t want to be feeling it or doing anything or being melodramatic. it feels like everything is a mockery of our situation and i don’t actually want to engage with any of it.

i dreamt about a different ex last night which was very telling about my mental state. My mind is used to dreaming of Leo every night, but can’t stand to dream of him so I dreamt of a different ex… Also it’s probably somehow relevant that the dream was kind of about that night I cheated on Adam with Rose. There was a lot i was feeling and thinking at that time about the kind of relationship i want to be in….

ugh this all feels so awful. all i can really do is sleep. at least today i kind of have my appetite back today. before, eating just made me feel sick. and i’ve been able to sit upright and think about stuff other than him a little bit at times. but i just feel so like empty.

this feels so like…. real and surreal at the same time and very bad.

i’m not taking this lightly at all. my old breakup coping mechanisms all sound ridiculous to me. i don’t want to watch sex and the city or listen to breakup songs or read poetry or anything like that. even making art sounds kind of horrible.

i didn’t even realize how close we were to the breaking point. and i didn’t even realize things could feel this… unsalvageable.

if he changed his mind, i would go back to him in an instant. but i can’t imagine him ever changing his mind…. There’s no way this last time wasn’t my last chance. He probably feels like things will never change. and maybe they never will. i don’t know. And it’s not worth it enough for him to keep me when it’s this dysfunctional.

i know it’s not realistic to wish we could stay together despite our dysfunction. i wish real life could be more like fantasy.

He is such a special person. I admire him so much. And he accepted me and loved me at my lowest. He understood parts of me I’ll never share with anyone else. I got so greedy wanting to pull him closer. Then i just pushed him away. I tried to be okay with constantly yearning to know more about him and his world. Why couldn’t I just relax? He would tell me sometimes that i felt like home. I can’t believe I went and ruined that. He’s my favorite person i’ve ever met. Every thought of his was important to me. everything about him was interesting to me and attractive to me. He understands why certain things are cool or funny or interesting or stupid. I’ve never had that with anyone else. Spending time with him felt effortless. And restorative. And imperative.

She honestly just wants to be with them, but on special date nights, she would love to go to the park for a walk or maybe an art gallery. Probably her favorite activity with her SO is stargazing, just the two of them curled up on a blanket admiring the sky, it’s so intimate.

She is absolutely enchanted by her SO. She loves the way they blush just slightly when they smile, the way they dance to their music when they think nobody’s watching. She memorized all of their tiny unique mannerisms because they’re just so charming. Everything about them is so stunning.

C omfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?

She’s not great with her words, but she has such a determination to comfort them. If they were having a panic attack, she’d make sure to get them somewhere quiet and calm. She’d offer to just wrap them up in her arms, or to sit quietly with them. If they were just having a bad day or feeling down, she would clear her schedule so she didn’t have to leave their side all day. She’d lay their head in her lap, running her hands through their hair, and either letting them vent, or talking to distract them. She hates seeing them upset, and her protective instincts kick in instantly.

D reams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?

She doesn’t think about the future. Since she was little, she’s had to live in the moment and think on her feet, so she never really lets herself start to make plans. But, once she started getting serious with her SO, she probably let herself have just a little bit of faith in the future. I don’t think she fantasizes about the typical domestic life, but she does love the idea of stability. In general, she just wants more time with her SO.

E qual - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

Equal, leaning towards Mikasa being a bit more dominant. She tends to fall into the role of protector for her SO, literal or figurative, but there’s obviously nothing definite. She needs to be protected sometimes, too.

She doesn’t fight over petty things and serious fights don’t happen often, but when they do, it can be pretty rough. She doesn’t yell or anything, in fact, she gets very quiet, and it’s obvious that her feelings are hurt whenever they fight. She’s good at finding compromises, though, because she really hates fighting. Her goal is never to hurt her SO back, even if they said something that accidentally hurt her, because she hates making them upset.

G ratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

This baby is sooo grateful! She’s so used to being the one supporting other people, so each time her SO goes out of their way to show their affection or do something for her, she is so ridiculously honored and touched. She considers herself so lucky to have them in her life, and even though it’s awkward, she voices it as much as she can.

H onesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?

She would never hide anything from her SO that involves them or could hurt them. For the most part, she’s an open book. But there’s obviously a lot in her life that she would have reason to suppress and not talk about, in addition to the fact that she has trouble voicing her feelings. Even still, I think she would make an effort to talk about her past in the name of total transparency in the relationship.

I nspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?

I think they inspire each other. She’s such a calming presence, so I think her SO, especially if they’re a pretty anxious person, might become a bit more relaxed around her. On the other hand, Mikasa is absolutely inspired by them every day. She allows herself to depend on them and open up to them, even having some hope for the future. I know it sounds cheesy, but they genuinely remind her that there is so much happiness in the world.

J ealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?

For the most part, she’s not a jealous person. But, she’s human, so of course she gets jealous once in a while. She trusts her SO without a doubt, but it makes her uncomfortable when she can tell someone is flirting with them. If it makes them uncomfortable as well, she’s scaring that person off instantly. When she does get jealous, she probably just goes to her SO for a hug and a quick reminder that she’s more than enough for them. It’s never caused a fight or anything.

K iss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

Their first was just a small, soft little kiss early in the morning, and I think they probably kept that tradition of tiny kisses. Mikasa isn’t an overly affectionate person, but she expresses a lot with just a little kiss, maybe even on their forehead. It may not be what people would consider “passionate” but there’s still so much behind it.

L ove Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?

She probably thought about it for a bit, but she had no idea she was going to confess when she did. They were absolutely stargazing in the park, and she looked over and thought about just how amazing her SO is, so it just came out. She wasn’t even really embarrassed afterwards; if anything, she was overwhelmed by how easily she had said it. And it’s not something that she throws around all the time after that, especially because she has trouble with vulnerability. Every time she says she loves them, she means it.

She doesn’t really fantasize about getting married like some people do, but it’s not something she would be opposed to. Personally, she feels secure in her relationship no matter what, and she doesn’t need a document to tell her that she’s in love. But if it would hold meaning to her SO, she’s all over it. She would plan a quietly romantic proposal in private, probably somewhere significant to their relationship. Their wedding would be pretty small, just between themselves and close friends and family, celebrating their love. It would be beautifully planned, too.

She probably uses “love” sometimes, but for the most part, she uses their name. It just sounds so nice, and it’s a little added connection between the two of them.

O n Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

She’s not obvious at all when she’s in love, except to her SO. Anybody else she interacts with, even the closest family and friends, wouldn’t notice a thing. But her SO can absolutely see the way she stares at them with a quiet smile, thinking they don’t see it. And they notice the way she always needs some form of contact with them, whether it’s holding their hand or pressing next to them while sitting together. She does make an effort to express her feelings as much as she can, even if she has trouble being vulnerable.

P DA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?

She’s very private with her relationship. The most PDA anyone will see is her holding their hand underneath the table, or slowly sliding closer to them until their knees are pressed together. She also doesn’t really talk about it much. The people close to her absolutely know about the relationship, but she’s not one to brag; she just wants to keep the best parts of their relationship between the two of them.

She’s incredibly motivated. Sounds like it would be overwhelming for her SO, right?? Wrong. She channels that motivation into helping them, especially if they struggle with mental health and are somewhat unmotivated because of it. She’s that one person who volunteers to help clean someone’s depression room, and she’s her SO’s best support when they need to get something done. She loves being able to lift just a little bit of their stress by lending a hand.

She’s incredibly romantic! She loves finding little ways to make her SO smile and express how much she cares about them, so she’s definitely more creative. But, she also probably allows herself to indulge in some cliches once in a while because it’s something she never foresaw herself getting to do.

She’s their biggest cheerleader! She absolutely believes in her SO to no end, and she’d do whatever she can to help them reach their goals. She’s honestly inspired by their determination, and she knows that they have the ability to do anything they put their mind to.

Probably a mix of both. She loves getting to experience new things with her SO, especially if it’s something they’re interested in. Besides, their routines are likely much more intimate than any new activity, and she adores getting to spend time with them like that.

She tried to learn to cook for her SO as a surprise for their birthday. So she printed out recipes and bought the ingredients for their favorite foods, and before they were even awake, she started cooking. It didn’t turn out great, but they could tell she was so proud, and it was adorable. She probably had to try not to gag after the first bite, so if her SO ate any of it, she would be absolutely touched.

She’s not honestly an overly affectionate person, partially because she has trouble letting herself be vulnerable. She just expresses her love in different ways. But, especially if one of them had a bad day or if she’s tired, she will be very affectionate. She absolutely loves when her SO runs a hand through her hair as they lay together, and she feels so safe with her head in their lap as they trace little circles over her cheek. She also loves getting to wrap them up in her arms, their head pressed into her chest as if she can physically channel her emotions and love to them.

She’s definitely not a yearning type. Hi again! 1) happy to answer for everyone. I don't consider it "canon" as far as our continuity/timeline go (though please don't misconstrue that as a negative -- I love the IA special, it's so much fun! But we approached it as a "what if" type episode, so we could take full advantage of the format and do fantasy sequences, musical numbers etc...)

1, continued: Here is my reasoning. a) with the various forks, there's no way any one thread could be canon -- how would we know? b) we did Vile "brain wiping" here in the style of fun horror movie endings; we of course revisited the idea more dramatically at end of S4. c) note that Shadowsan & Chase are absent from the storyline! We were producing the IA special parallel with S2, and had no idea whether Netflix would premiere it between S1 & S2, or after S2. SS & Chase are the two characters who had major spoilers attached (SS from bad to good; Chase unconscious in the hospital). So we removed them to avoid any timeline bumps in the event Netflix chose to premiere it after S1. In retrospect, it would have been fun to add SS & Chase to the Rockapella song, but since they weren't in the story earlier it seemed odd. We went back and forth on that. One down, 4 to go!

2) in general- does carmen ever find out that julia is the one who found her mother? julia played such a large part in helping to resolve carmen’s story, so we wanted to know if carmen knew that she did that for her?

great observation! I absolutely think Carmen knows: it's suggested in the hospital scene that Chief is in touch with Carmen ("shall I pass along your info?"). To have explained that Carmen knows Gray's okay, or that Julia is the one who found her mother, would have been great; but a) would have slowed the pace of our multiple epilogues so we figured the audience knows both those things so can construe that Carmen does (or will eventually ;-). b) except for the Pilot, we were limited to 22 minutes per episode precisely. We made the exception for the finale which is 2 minutes longer to get everything in. It's a balancing act to keep things tight but also let moments breathe. I'm sure you'll agree that we pack a LOT into each episode! There wasn't room for more in 408, but also I think it would have dragged the pacing to add more talk to the wrap up scenes.

3) nina wants to make carmen fanart stickers and put them on redbubble- is there a copyright policy against that? is she allowed to do so?

Hi Nina! I am not sure about that, it's outside my area: I can ask the "powers that be" if you would like? But be forewarned they may just say no because it's less complicated that way. My own common sense tells me that if you were making stickers of our copyrighted images from the show, that would be a problem. But stickers of your own art maybe not? But I really can't answer with certainty.

4) how did carmen end up trusting julia again after stockholm? the look of betrayal at the end kind of made it seem that it would take some reconciliation, but carmen seemed fine in season 3. we all have our own theories, but do you have any opinions on it?

reading this question scared me and I had to check the episode again! Phew. Carmen feeling betrayed by Julia was not the intention here at the end (in the beginning when ACME storms in, of course) -- but I think Carmen's been through too much to hold this against Julia. Carmen DOES shoot Chief some very poisonous glares through this sequence, but when she finally looks at Julia I think she's just weak. The pained look on J's face is so heartbreaking! But now that you point this out, it might have been a good idea to end the scene on Carmen softening toward J or simply looking vulnerable, rather than on J's heartbreak. I do think J is just feeling horrible seeing her hero in such a fallen state, rather than reacting to Carmen's glare. I think this moment is such a big reason why J resigns in S3: she can't bear to do something like this to Carmen again.

5) you mentioned something about julia being captivated (?) by carmen as well, but it kept cutting out so all we caught was the word “captivated” 🤣 do you mind expanding on that?

I think I noted that Julia was clearly captivated by Carmen -- on the train of course, as their conversation continues. Though really I think J's just happy to be talking to someone who takes an interest in history and culture unlike Chase (though ironically Carmen is of course kind of "using" Julia here to scout for Paperstar -- a lot of layers LOL, but this is the beginning of J and Carmen working together without literally working together. Which to me makes them super-connected and relating on heightened intuition). But then I also said that Julia was clearly captivated by Carmen the very first time she saw her hang-gliding away in Poitiers ;-)

The second I heard about the love square reversing in season 4, I’ve been 100% on board with this concept.

I have some thoughts on how I’d like to see the dynamic! (Side note: take a shot every time I wrote “realize”)

Adrienette

Marinette is obviously still in love with Adrien (as she says towards the end of the NY special). BUT, I’d like to see her romantic feelings subside a bit. A lot of people pointed out in the one trailor that she didn’t have the posters of Adrien in her room anymore. Sooo, my thoughts are that she should start realizing she doesn’t really know him all that well (maybe sees he’s putting up that “model facade”) and her feelings shrink down. Instead, maybe she has a few posters of Cat Noir in her room.

As for Adrien, I’d like for him to realize that he HAS had feelings for Marinette all along, but just wasn’t realizing it and in denial. However, he’s scared to confess his feelings towards Marinette because he doesn’t have that confidence in himself as Adrien, and he notices Marinette isn’t really showing many signs of interest. (It’d be real cute if he just starts getting extra shy and blushy around her).

LadyNoir

In the NY special, Ladybug realizing how she absolutely wants Cat Noir to be by her side was a step in the right direction. Ladybug makes an effort to stop being so unkind to him and starts thinking about Cat Noir more. She soon comes to realize that she cares about him so strongly and wants him to be her Cat Noir because she has suppressed romantic feelings for him. A bit of flirty behavior happens.

Cat Noir cares about Ladybug, but is so used to her turning him down that he doesn’t think anything of her kind words and lowkey flirty behavior. He comes to terms that he’s just a very good partner and friend to her, but that’s all; his expectations of her loving him were “unrealistic.” He realizes how much Marinette truly means to him and figures it’s in his best interest to earn her heart instead.

“The new and improved Ladrien” & potentially the big step for The Big Reveal!

Marinette slowly stops denying her feelings for Cat Noir and starts waiting on her balcony at times, hoping she’ll possibly see him hopping around Paris. She gets blushy around him but already feels very comfortable since they’ve established that good friendship (as seen in Weredad).

Cat Noir visits the bakery more. He likes getting croissants and macarons, and talking to enthusiastic Tom. One night, he sees Marinette on her balcony and decides to start talking to her. He feels that good sense of comfort around her.

The two of them start to pick up on each other’s feelings for one another, they start opening up to each other more - identities start becoming more obvious. One night, music plays in the distance and they start slow dancing together. The way they hold each other feels familiar (when they’ve danced normally as Adrien and Marinette), and that’s when it clicks in their minds.

Ladrien

Ladybug and Adrien are still very protective over each other, but the awkwardness is mostly gone. They feel more comfortable talking to each other here and there during their run-ins.

The most tension these two have is just the weird internal feelings about how they used to obsessively crush on each other.
