It feels illegal to have Doctor Who be this high budget. I’m not complaining, it’s just so strange it’ll take some getting used to lol

One thing I REALLY love about Ortho and his gears is that everyone who makes them has a very unique style to how they approach them.
Idia takes a very practical route: sturdy and realistic proportions, with aesthetics that stay grounded and true to whatever they’re based on but with Ortho’s body type in mind.
Ortho himself gets more creative; his designs focus much more on the aesthetic of the setting he is using it for than practicality, and he heavily prioritizes realism in how it behaves (as seen in his bunny vignette).
Mama Shroud goes absolutely all in on her own personal aesthetic, making him very sleek and cool with unique joints while also showing signs of being optimized for the situation if you look closely.
Playful Land’s magic pushes his body much more than it can with the others’ clothing: his body has much more realism in his clothing to the others (his groovy shows he even has trouser seams, something no other design of his has), while also giving thin joints in the arms and very sturdy legs to push the toy soldier look of how his body isn’t organic. Additionally, being magic and aesthetic only, he is still allowed the practicality present in his college gear.
Idk. I just think it’s a REALLY cool detail that reveals a lot about Ortho, his familial relationships, and the types of setting he’s in.
