wanting to write angst w Hebichi and Miguel or at least think about it, where she’s upset with him and he doesn’t know why is all very funny and cool until I remember the fact they both fucking repress their emotions to the extreme and there’s literally nothing Miguel could do to upset Hebichi that could actually be resolved with hurt comfort and understanding because she’s not gonna get upset or at least not gonna get emotional over/show she’s upset over pretty much any jerk thing he could do and that means the only things that he could upset her with would be really serious stuff that would result in her hating him and ignoring/temporarily leaving the spider society

bring your kid to the spiderverse day made for Peter and Hebichi brings her little sister because she’s technically her legal guardian and her sis is the closest thing to a kid. anyways when I say Sakara gets along with everyone she GETS ALONG WITH EVERYONE. chats with Hobie (he calls her kid), paints Gwen’s nails, becomes best friends with Pav immediately and they make little clay animals together.

She goes up to Miguel and is like “oh you must be the commander!! I’ve heard all about you” and he’s like something something just his real name is fine so she’s like “okay Mr O’Hara :))” and gives him a little clay spider she made as a present and he’s absolutely tormented he misses his fucking daughter bro is going to take that spider, walk away to his office, and fucking cry at his desk.

Sakara is in her college years/entering her college years yes but she is whimsical and free from cringe and joyful and retains childlike wonder and kindness. Sweetie you are doing WONDERS from the nature vs nurture argument given that Hebichi is raising you (this is a lie Hebichi I’m sorry. obviously Hebichi is an amazing big sister even if she’s a cold aggressive spiderman)

Anyways. Hebichi raised her sister well and Sakara’s nature reminds Miguel of his dead aaa daughter and he turns emo and depressed over it because he can’t handle kindness and he’s a loser. annnnd send post

Hebichi commits Miguel levels of destruction on the cafeteria silverware because her stress reaction is biteyness. they start bringing her chew toys. hobie’s brought her animal bones before and she goes crazy on them. you know when they test out canons on plastic silicone type replicas of the human body? hobie snags an arm from one of those test dummies at some point and brings her one. it goes great. Hebichi gets through it really quick, gnaws on it regularly. it’s a great chew toy for her. except she kind of mangles it and it’s really starting to disturb the other spiderpeople. miguel takes it away :( probably without telling her too 💔
