New oc based on an outfit I made in sploon :3

This is Duckie!! They're a lil blue-ring octopus that loves all things ducks, and they main is the new Nautilus 79 :D

They tend not to speak and communicate with rubber duckies, of which they squeak when annoyed and gift to people they like 💖 they also decorate their mask with duck stickers and have duck patches and badges on their jacket

They rarely show their face since they're embarrassed by their prominent facial markings...makes them look like a baby duck tho~

I hope u guys like them!! I'll draw them digital eventually, pen scribbles for now ( ´ ꒳ ` )

With the addition of h2whoa, could we hear your takes on them? Any headcanons you have? Your art is so co cool!!! <3

For the octoling I can see the Jerma looks on her I really don't like them and there's not much info provided so I'm just completly neutral about them both

I had headcanons for corals species before. Corals are a set of living beings (zooids) it's like a lot of people living in the same building, in real life, they can have thousands of them but in splatoon, it can reach up to one living inside, they can be added more later. It is like a large casing where these zooids live and control the body to their liking, they can take on different roles and can be seen through the eye cavities. I have more ideas but we will leave them for another occasion if you are interested. I like to think they had up to 2 living inside, controlling half of their bodies.

Aside from that, and as I mentioned, they aren't really my thing, however please enjoy this tiny art i did of them.

Funny idea:

Meggy sees that Mario and Peach are more comfortable around each-other these days and decides to invite her to join in on an Ink Weapons training session, partly as bonding and partly as a hopefully-subtle Shovel Talk (she has forgiven but not forgotten).

Meggy: So, before we start, have you ever used any of these before? *gestures to the massive weapon rack holding her personal collection of Nearly Every Weapon in Splatoon*

Peach: *nonchalantly pulls down a basic Splat Charger and checks it over* Oh... *whips it up to aim at one of the target balloons with near-perfect form*

Peach: *brings the charger to rest at her side and turns to Meggy with a Peachy-sweet smile* I dabble.

I DEADASS FORGOT I MADE THIS

I had a dream where during a ranked match in Splatoon, a Big Run was happening in camp triggerfish.

Now here's the kicker: It wasn't just a normal Big Run. It was happening while a normal Rain Maker match.

There was the normal goal of bringing the rain maker to your opponent's goal but there's the added hazard of the salmonids ((Bosses included)) trying to stop/eat you and your team mates.

The match ends if by either; one team winning, time runs out, ooorrr all players are down.

It was kind of fun in that dream! My team won.

I haven’t played Mario kart in literal years and the way addiction has absorbed me. I was brutal in Mario kart Wii, I just know if I commit the time I can get good.

See this is why I can’t play MMOs I have an addiction problem. I will not quit until I get to the top.

W-why do my teammates get worse between Profreshional +3 and Eggsecutive VP??

Seriously, when I ranked up I constantly had teammates who only focused on splatting bosses and not at all on eggs until the last 30 seconds. Every single time we lost it wasn’t because of boss salmonid, it’s because my teammates weren’t getting eggs into the basket and allowing the basket area to get overrun >:(

I know I’m probably part of the problem somehow, but I spend my whole time playing just carrying eggs and fighting bosses solo while my team farts around somewhere else. It’s very frustrating.

Man idk what it is about 3 specifically that makes me feel like not only I -lost- skill in the game but that I'm just generally having less fun overall save for Splatfests and things 😔

I just can't keep up like I used to, Splatoon 2 is where I peaked and since then it feels like I'll never get back up to where I was

I'm really resonating with the folks who are bailing out some days

(Don't worry, I 100% plan on taking a good break away from it, I know my limits, it's just a little sad)

i put together a cool picture to vent my frustrations after playing like 20 splat zones matches of which only THREE were on manta maria (the rest was all undertow). one match had me playing against A COORDINATED TEAM OF 3 SPLASHES AND A MISSILE FARMING GOO TUBER
