I want these two characters to be together forever. I want them to do taxes together. I want them to sleep in the same bed and hold each other close for warmth.

I want them to never have a single sexual or romantic thought towards each other ever. They are two peas in a pod, they’re soulmates, they’re each other’s other half, but there is not an ounce of romance involved. They could and would cross the entire galaxy to reach each other and they defend each other to the death but it has never even crossed their mind that they could be considered abnormally close. All of their friends are baffled, but they are happily living their best life.
