As a stay-at-home mum, I “work out” all the time. Part 2/2 Saturdate with Melody - Took a bus from Victoria Theater to Furama Riverfront Hotel. Decided to head to @wakawakasg today for an unlimited playtime session. We went in about 12.20pm, bought lunch for Melody there. And she started playing from 1pm all the way till 7pm. It's funny how this girl has so much energy in her. Without feeling tired of bored at all. She was even reluctant to leave. Haha. Sadly, the Adventure Cove was not open today. Part 1/2 #Saturday A visit to The Animal Resort with the kiddos! It's what they call a 'Kampung Zoo'. Though it was not as big, but it was still enjoyable and the kids had fun feeding all the 2-legged creatures. There was a beautiful horse named 'Pin Number' there (and the carrots disappeared from the kids hand before I could even take a photo of them feeding it, I only bought 1 packet of carrots for the horse). Some rabbits & guinea pigs, I guess they all ate too much so they were just lying comfortably, not moving around much. (I regretted buying 2 packets of food for them because none of them wanted to eat) It seems more like a bird sanctuary (instead of an animal resort). There were more than 10 different types of birds to see, some quite exotic too. A Cassowary was one of the exotic bird we saw and I find it so beautiful too that I had to take a selfie with it, it was soooo big! We could see geese, kumpung ducks, chicken, guinea fowls, peacock etc. (I bought a total of 6 packets of food for the 2-legged creatures) Best of all, it was Free Entry! We only needed to buy the food for feeding. $1 for 1 packet or $2 for 3 packets. I initially bought 6 packets but they requested for more so I bought 9 packets in total. We spend about an hour and a half there. One hour is actually enough to cover the whole place. It would be a place to consider being the kids, but it is quite inconvenient if you are not driving. Grab was the best option for me since I lived nearby. The Animal Resort 81 Seletar West Farm way 5 Singapore 798061 . . P.S. I actually came across @mumscalling post on Friday and realized there was such an interesting place near where I stay. So I told myself I had to bring the kids there the next day and I really did. Themed indoor playgrounds are so adorable but I feel it is definitely too kiddish for Melody's age. Part 1/2 #Throwback to last Sunday - Melody and I had a chance to explore the magic world of #grimmsneyland in 1.5hour. I loved how this was unlike any kids show or play that we've watched. It was truly magical. There were different rooms, each with a different theme, and we would enter from room to room to meet a different character. From Galaxy room to Mermaid's Underwater World to Sleeping Beauty's room to Fairy Godmother's home to Snow White's Enchanted Forest. A very friendly Fairy Godfather-to-be guided us through the whole journey. The whole experience was unique, magical and an eye-opener. It was an interactive session in a small group of 30pax. And I loved how the characters engage everyone in their activity. There is a lesson / value taught /shared at each room too. This has got to be one of the best production from @andsoforthjr! Looking forward to more of such productions! Being a stay home mum, my list of chores goes on and on and one of it which has become cyclical, unexciting yet absolutely necessary is... doing the laundry. Yup, with three young kids in the house, laundry is a never ending story and it always seems like there are mountains of dirty clothes waiting for me. Moving to the new house meant that it was time to upgrade our washer and I wanted one that was bigger, better and stronger. It's funny how they can do this all day all night long and still ask for more. Okay, actually they only went on this Junior Jumper for 5 minutes as there was a queue and everyone needed to take turns. I was glad to see that the staff were helpful and friendly towards the kids, who couldn't stop jumping away on their own trampoline (1 kid on 1 trampoline only)! P.S. Babies and toddlers in arms are not allowed in the arena, thankfully @mmlittlee helped me to take some videos of the girls for memories!
