I want to make a small post about the Spriggans coming with Pictomancy in 7.0. I know it's a bit of a spoiler-y subject... kinda sorta, yes and no, not really.

We've all seen the Spriggan in the extended trailer. We know they're involved and coming. We don't know how or to what extent yet, but in patch 6.55 we got a little extra preview of Pictomancer Krile.

That's where my spoiler-y bits come in~ (it's not going to be much)

I love Spriggans 💖

I've made several previous posts with my Spriggan companions and one about how excited I was to see them flourishing on our Island Sanctuary- basically gushing 'Thank You's to SE for including them there.

I'm in the same mindset with this post. I am so happy they are including Spriggans with Pictomancer. They get an inclusive role with the players this way- in the form of a class! How clever!

It's not just Spriggans. We know Moogles will also be included in Pictomancy too. I wonder what other cute Minions we'll see? Scenery as well!

This especially touches my heart because my Spriggan has traversed all of Eorzea with me since I joined FFXIV.

I went back and did some digging and Voidflare (the name of my Spriggan), joined my adventures exactly two-months after I started playing. He's literally been at my side nearly the entire time. And he'll remain to be, because there's no other cutie companion I'd rather have 🥰💖

When this scene came up in 6.55 👆🏻 I was all smiles 😄. I doubt SE will ever see a post like this, but once again, thank you so much! To the edge of the universe and back, thank you! 💝

Was trying to get a screenshot of the little spriggan/dust bunny that runs around in the Gold Saucer, and he decided to show me his ore...which I wasn't expecting... before running off.

He ran into the next room, and was so pleased I was following him. So he kept running onward--continuing this till he stopped at the minion battle area.

He would remain there at the entrance, and if I walked away and then came back, he'd get all happy and show me his ore again.

I love him so much. I always go there to play one of the mini-games and to (maybe) do chocobo racing. I think I have more of a reason to keep visiting the little guy. ♥

Around 2 years ago, a streamer I watch asked in a tweet (paraphrased) "If SE made your character into an NPC, where would you like to be?"

I replied with the above screenshot 👆🏻 and said something among the lines of 'Around this cave studying the cute Spriggans with my Spriggy!' -insert location-

A couple days ago I went to work on my Island and dive into the new additions that came with 6.4. I truly was not expecting to find what I did...

Sappy, I know, but thank you so much SE for adding this. I cannot express how much I appreciate this little area. Such a cute small space. Probably not as meaningful to most people- but it means more than words can describe to me 🥰. It's perfect here.

Hatching Tide was the first event I ever participated in, in-game. And the year I joined, Spriggans were predominantly involved.

Through my entire playthrough- through all of my WoL's travels- my Spriggy companion has traversed everywhere with me 💜

Spriggan Stonecarrier (mount) even toiled the grueling 20-hours per day, 10-Days back to back, of Diadem, with me. Nonsensical, pure mindless grinding- for the Saint of the Firmament title. (Those are literally the hours I did - others definitely had a different schedule from me and perhaps better gear?)

Sure there are stories of the WoL with their Chocobos and their Amaros, but mine would be with my Spriggan besties 😊
