KDA AU! Wei Wuxian's Raps are the first kind of Rap that Lan Wangji has heard. He only listened to them because they were mentioned on an interview that Lan Wangji was watching.

- LWJ isn’t even fond of raps bc it sounds like noise in his ears THEN HE HEARS WWX maybe when he came early to the recording studio and WWX was still there bc duh he came late and now both HC and LBH are kinda worried about their bandmate for buying stacks of albums (“he could have just downloaded them from spotify???” “hush, binghe, let wangji be his old school self”) with anything that has WWX in it

- he even joins forums and all the fan club activities for the MCs group and is ofc very particularly biased to WWX but then this is LWJ so he uses his own photo as his profile photo (“it’s disrespectful to use another one’s image but your own as it is your internet responsibility to not deceive” “wangji bro chill”) and even his username is his name so the other fans were originally all “uhh hello?? this is the MCs group so why is your profile from another group??” but then they see how dedicated and polite this new fan is so they adopt him

- technically, LWJ is the second person in their group to get acquainted with someone from the MCs bc HC met XL first and already has a glorious shrine of everything XL (“wangji bro, third bro has started a cult—i saw his room” “mn” “HE NEEDS HELP!!! WE HAVE TO HELP HIM” “mn”)

- tbh, HC is kinda disappointed with his bandmates bc how could they have been somlate with the MCs

- then LBH is the last one and the fallout is as glorious as one can imagine; he’s notorious in the media for dating multiple women and very frequently changes (is it true or not???) so obv SQQ has heard of him bc that guy literally graces the front cover of gossip magazines way too often and you can’t tell me SQQ isn’t the most gossip magnet person

- LBH accompanies NYY to one of MCs concert bc she’s a fan and at first he’s bored bc obv no one can be better than the MLs group THEN SQQ COMES OUT ON STAGE AND LBH DECIDED TO COME OUT OF THE CLOSET FOR THAT MAN TOO
