dawgggg i fuckin hate sharing the gym w men they have zero concept of gym etiquette. they never put their weights away properly and they never wipe the machines down after theyre done. today i watched a dude stick his water bottle on the only free bench press that i was about to use and then Walk Away to go take fucking selfies in front of the mirror. i gave him 2 minutes before i just moved his water bottle and started benching but then he had the Gall to come over during my set and be like “umm excuse me i was using that” bitch No The Fuck You Were Not u were busy taking pictures of ur muscles and ur stupid bucket hat. and then he didn’t even put away the weights that he’d been using before.

had a separate 2 hour workout today, but had to get 45 min of drills in first. i currently have a hairline fracture on my pelvis (that i gave myself w a barbell—oopsie) so i’m not only injured but also having some war-flashback yips and am rushing all my first pulls.
trainer Jay wants me to slow way down on all my lifts and go light, so that’s what i’ll be drilling.
85lb for squat cleans, yada yada.
oh, and for novelty i tried using the men’s barbell this time to challenge my grip strength w the larger girth. it definitely did challenge that... it’s crazy what a difference in size there is from the women’s bar. thank christ, i guess, cuz i’m a very tall and clearly-not-dainty woman and my hands STILL can’t get a good grip on that thang. i was struggling quite a bit grip-wise on all of today’s lifts.
so, all things considered, these lifts could’ve been way worse lol
