I can’t believe it was 6 weeks ago that me and my family made a full term casting of my pregnancy bump.

This quote always makes me think about my dad who passed away 6 years ago. I really wish I had the opportunity to make a casting of mine and my dads hands together so that I had something special to cherish forever.

Don’t take the days you get to spend with your family or pets for granted, because one day all you may have is the memories you made together 🤍

Today I have been looking back through photos of castings that I made throughout 2019. It has made me realise how much I actually love making casts for people. I appreciate my job even more now because I’m not able to due to make castings (because of the current pandemic.) I have met some lovely people and families over the years and I just want to thank every single one of them for making my job so enjoyable.

I have had the pleasure of volunteering in Tonyrefail Community School, which involved creating hand castings with a group of 28 pupils, aged 9-13.🏫👫

[WEEK TWO] I worked with groups 3 and 4, together we produced another 15 gorgeous hand castings. Even the teachers wanted to get involved and made a hand casting! 🤣

All 29 hand castings have been made and now left to dry out ready for the pupils (and teachers) to seal and decorate on week three🖐🏼🎨

As some of you may know my beautiful dogs Mango and Peaches has a litter of 7 gorgeous puppies on April 29th. Unfortunately one puppy didn’t make it passed the first day, which was extremely upsetting. However we had the pleasure of raising 6 of the puppies, which has been an experience to say the least.

This is our last week being ‘second’ mam and dad to 6 gorgeous playful puppies. There’s mixed feelings about them going, obviously excited to get my social life back and also majorly fed up of cleaning up after the pups 🙈. However the house is going to be so quiet and boring without them!

The first puppy is heading off to its new and forever home tonight - it’s going to be emotional 🙈
