He'd be absolutely horrified in the dream and Concerned upon waking up, and I think that uneasiness would probably last for a day or two. But realistically he'd know it was a dream and eventually rationality would win. Besides, if he tried to talk about such an incomprehensible, outlandish concept with anyone, surely they would think he had finally lost it.

hmm hmm ! i'm not sure ! i—didn't realize i was writing him to be too strict if i'm honest LOL i think...there are things he's very particular about as a parent—like his kiddos' dental hygiene and their manners—but i guess i didn't consider his take strict bc....those are things i think he has to be firm about, when it comes to being a responsible parent ??

like, he's letting the kiddos have their candy or letting them drink juice with dinner or eat a donut for breakfast...but, yes, there is no negotiation on brushing their teeth afterward. okay, if they wanna have a fit and be mad, that's normal kid shit, but it’s no excuse to be disrespectful to anyone. they can be mad about being made to eat a few veggies off their plate, but they're not gonna huff and puff and hmm! in their mommy's face, you know ???

idk !! in my opinion, him giving a sort of gentle reminder of minding their manners and taking care of their toys and being nice to their siblings—that is him being lax ??? sort of quietly nudging them, giving them a look from the corner of his eye that they understand without question; there's no screaming or hollering, no raised voices, no real anger taken out on them. i don't think any of it comes from a judgy place, he just sees it as his responsibility as a parent to not let a little gremlin loose in society, like he was LMAO

idk !! maybe i have a different perspective on what exactly is strict parenting !! which is normal, considering we all came from different households and families and walks of life 🩷

her design! i like how they made kunigami's. not great time visible in canon, so i tried to translate that here.

assorted femlock kunigami thoughts:

- she carries herself with the upright swag ("swag") and confidence ("confidence") of a female class representative.

- a little more outwardly cheerful than canon kunigami, since she's just as helpful and people kind of found her blankness unnerving when she was younger.

- eats really really fast.

- just as jacked as in canon. reo looked at her once and missed ba-ya and almost asked for a piggyback ride before she caught herself.

- post wildcard, everyone tries to get her to tie up her hair but she won't. chigiri, bachira, and isagi are reintroducing her to hairties the way one would introduce a cat into a new household.

- chigiri is certain that if she keeps trying, kunigami is going to let her cut her hair.

Nope, I don't care about canon. Arkhamverse Jason is short.

First, his parents were both drug addicts when he was conceived, and his mother continued to abuse drugs while being pregnant. He must have been born an extremely unhealthy baby, prematurely and so very small, with drugs in his system. The fact that he survived his first years on Earth is incredible.

Then, he was malnourished for his whole childhood, and live in awful conditions. For a child to grow healthy, they need food and good nights of sleep, he didn't get that. And, in Arkhamverse, Jason is only picked up by Bruce when he is 15? (sent to school), and adopted at 17, only to be kidnapped 6 months later. This is not enough time, and also too late, to fix his health enough for his body to grow normally. Also, I forgot if he smoked, but smoking does impact your growth.

Finally, he is kidnapped and tortured. Those kind of events have so many effects on someone. You can see it from irl survivors, you stop developing at a normal speed. Not just physically, but also mentally. Survivors of long period of kidnapping sound way younger than they are (so Jason should still sound 17 in Arkham Knight, and he does imo, he does sound like a hurt boy). No way his body would grow when it was busy trying to survive the pain, mental and physical.

Let him be small and a dangerous man full of rage.
