Today, I woke up in not the best of moods. My general feeling of today was not feeling good enough for anyone. I didn't say anything to Che because I thought the feeling would quickly pass - I didn't. I didn't even feel like getting dressed or going out anywhere but I had to, I had things I needed to do today. Despite going out and about, I still couldn't shake the feeling off that I wasn't good enough for anyone, even Che. Myself confidence was shot to shit, I've felt disgusting, ugly, fatter than the biggest whale you could ever find. Then came the self questioning; Why is Che even with me? He didn't sign up for this, he deserves so much better than me and the life I give him. This also lead to other thoughts about mine and Che's relationship, thoughts even he doesn't know about yet, ones I'm not willing to share with anyone just yet. Next came the other self questioning; Why are people friends with me? Do they actually like me for me? Or is it for what I can offer them/lifts everywhere etc..? Alot of people don't talk to me or bother with me or Che for weeks, even months, yet still expect us to help them out whenever. Not any more!! I am done with fake friends, the ones who barely bother with us, the ones who "forget" to include us in social events/outings, the ones who "forget" everything we've ever done for them in the past, the ones who only come out of the woodwork when they want something or there's no one else around to talk too. Done with you all. I used this picture from @mental_health_advocacy because meditation is something I've always done and always felt better for it. Mindfulness is something I've been researching lately and looking to start doing some of the methods I've read about.
