Farmers across India at the moment are protesting a bill that essentially will take their livelihoods away. This is the largest protest seen ever but still there has been not enough people talking about and not enough Awarness being created. They need justice, they need to protect their livelihoods for themselves and their families. No farmers means no food

They m, the protesters wanted a peaceful protest as they made their way to the capital of India (Delhi). However, police as always has turned it into violence, with tear gas, water hoses, batons ect. Innocent people are being taken to jail for just protesting, they are making false claims on individuals so that they remain in jail- a 12 year old was put in jail for protesting A 12 YEAR OLD! Elderly are being beaten and bruised aswell and still these people are providing food and water to the same police that is harming them.

The media outlets are not painting the right picture. They are making the protesters seem like the bad guys, and showing that the governemnt is right and these protesters are anti- nationalist, that they are terriost trying to create a divide within the country, when the only people that are creating this divide is the government and people are just fighting for their rights.

All I want to say is this is wrong and that I stand and support the farmers of India. I hope anyone who sees this understands why this is important to talk about and create awareness for

I may not be in India I may not have been born there but my family my people are having something so important being taken from them and I need to make noise so things can change.
