Recent concept art for my comic. First set is the mm3 robot masters, which are a season 2 feature. Second set is the Stardroids, which would be a season 4(ish) debut. Also the reporters from battle and chase, which I showed in episode 5

I really like giving each set of robot masters a theme, so that they stand out from each other. The mm3 robot masters are more inhuman, lacking faces and appearing more uniform in design. The Stardroids lack most identifying features, which I feel gives them an eerie incomprehensible-ness that helps them feel truly alien.

I just wonder something if Terra & Sunstar meet Star when she armourless Terra was like "What a cute hair!" And then Star going to wearing her helmet and Terra was like "No! Don't wear that fucking helmet!" Sunstar look at Terra like "Dude what?" (This is gonna be so fun btw)

Yee. Felt like a powerhouse before I took a 5-year hiatus of my own (Work on more original stuff before coming back, as the love still burns stronger than ever)! And sure, you can! It's always nice to have something that inspires others! (^^) I may do Terramix as either a full-on comic series or talk like this in catalogue (Or maybe even Storybook or PowerPoint) format, with some pictures to show for it!

Was there anything else you had in mind that you planned to implement with Terra, God, and Co.?

oh well!!! honestly like I said in my past tags, a lot of my focus is the x-zero series (ignore that I barely draw them they’re just. hard to draw😞) so I have a Lot more ideas for them but!!!

I am trying to figure out a sunstar backstory (kinda like. 60-79% ish done) if that counts

also trying to figure out some stuff for the other droids!!!! just. tackling one thing at a time and starting with my favs first😭

I plan to do more ra moon and stardroid stuff in the future though!!! they’re rlly interesting and it sucks they barely have any canon content :(

Mega Man idea. Ra Moon, Stardroids and Star Marshals new lore.

All these machines came from a long dead planet, where their creator are responsible for it’s fate and their own demise. The machines were in 3 separate groups, Stardriods were the humanoid robots made for war, the Lunar Ai were created for internet information handling, while the Star Marshals were the police humanoid robots. There was much animosity between both Ai and Stardriods, especially between Ra Moon and Sunstar, rulers of the former and latter races respectively. Luckily, the Star Marshals kept the order and made sure the arguments never escalated further. Eventually, a decision is made to leave their old home to find a more suitable place, they soon discovered Earth as their new planet.

hello! How are you doing? I’m curious about the little guy you called Stringbean in the Rai and Lai drawings. First of all he’s adorable and I love his design, but I’m mainly curious about what his species is and what they’re capable of? And what sort of role does the little guy and his species come in? Hey! I’m doing well! I had a lovely 2 day break from classes (weird break schedule or something) and thoroughly enjoyed drawing for like 12 hours straight. Then the weekend came and i ended up working the entire time, haha. How are you?

Just gotta sort through some note for this ask--

What is he?

Stringbean (aka Snoot Snoot) is a little snake-like species (Verimor) in my Brainrot AU that shows up in Arc 3/the Sentinel Minx Arc. Like all creatures (Vitafons)on his planet (Vitafona), he is capable of absorbing energy through emotions. 

Some Vitafons have a natural affinity to feed off of one energy type (negative) over the other (positive) and are therefore more dangerous, but they are not exclusively limited to one type over the other.

An overindulgence, especially of negative energy (on purpose or accident) can trigger changes in personality, especially when young.

EX: a natural disaster triggers masses of animals fear and panic

Vitafons are not like traditional animals. While they are physical, they’re mostly made up of the energy they consume throughout their life. The energy they consume at the beginning of their life can greatly impact their natures growing up.

They can also live for varying amounts of time, depending on the specific species. Stringbean’s species can live for a super long time (like hundreds of years) while others only last a few months.

Vitafons need to consume energy fairly regularly, but in smaller amounts as they get older. When young, the more energy they consume, the faster they grow!

What can he do?

Aside from the emotion absorption thing, he can also spit acid! His cheeks can swell up like chipmunks before he spits. He also uses the tendrils on his neck to sense and absorb energy (from other creatures/plants/etc) while he flies around through the air. 

He’ll get more abilities as he gets older.

His role?

Vitafons are the pinnacle for Sunstar’s argument with the Virens that it should be possible to create an energy source that does not exclusively use either positive or negative emotions (like a hyper energy crystal). Vitafons are the species the Virens based their emotion-to-energy-conversion science on in the first place, after all. I like to think that the Virens were similarly wasteful to humans before traveling the stars and happening across planet Vitafona Then, their entire civilization/society got rebooted to adjust to their new scientific discovery.

Snoot Snoot himself is found by Minx as a baby after some sort of traumatic (but completely accidental) event happens to him. During this time, she has no idea how she’s supposed to handle any kind of Vitafon, let alone a Verimor, but does as humans do when they see the equivalent of a kicked puppy and immediately goes baby-mode trying to comfort him. Next thing you know the snake-puppy’s imprinted on her as a secondary caregiver and follows her around whenever she shows up on Vitafona.

Lai did also try to kill Snoot Snoot in the beginning, just as Slur had trained him to do, but Minx was not having any of it. This is how she learns that when the Twins see a young Verimor (or Vitafon in general) showing signs of excessive exposure/absorption of negative energy, Slur tasked them with killing it before it could become a problem to other Vitafons. When brought up to Duo, however, the twins discover that Slur was never permitted to kill any of the creatures, only to log their behavior. This serves as one of the first big reveals to the twins that Slur is not quite the saintess she pretended to be.

Believe me, I had you in mind but so much stuff got added hahahahaha!

Anyways let's begin.

These are called Soul Pendants. Every Robot Master has them they were created on Earth. Nobody knows what they are .. what they are from. They all just suddenly "Appear" just like that.

They even have different designs and forms. It is fitting for the Robot Master!

The only ones who have none are Stardroids and Duo since they were not created on Earth

But Soul Pendants are the pendants who reflect the Robot Master Soul. Like Robot Master can be tainted like Evil Energy for example it will change the colour.

In the Classic/BN AU, it shows even way differently! The Robot Master will lose themself to the Evil/bad Navis who take over them!

It will return back to normal though then that Evil Navi left him like Elecman for example. Not all Navis will affect the Soul Pendant like this.

You could say like Forte. If his EXE takes over by them willing each other the Pendant stays normal. But it could affect his core differently.

Soul Pendants can't be left behind they will just appear to the owner without warning. Even if you throw it in the ocean it will not work they teleport where they belong.

Even so, the pendants reflect the emotions of the Robot Master if the Robot Master has negative emotions like doubt it will react like that with a cold aura.

By happiness with a warm Aura.

I hope that was a good explanation, sorry for the wait so long... but as I wanted to make them but my brain went brrrrrrrrrrrr by two people, you know who you are >:3c

Stardroid Ra Moon.

I guess as part of the slow migration of stuff I can no longer rely on referring to TwiX for, here's a few more concepts from the Gothic AU. Most of the Stardroid stuff is @dahlia-the-nurd's business, but I've drawn a few, and we started working on some Second Numbers stuff. There's also more OC-focused art, but that's another can of worms and a little more personal.

Organized a bit weird here because my inconsistent aspect ratios are messing with thumbnail focus.

Pluto (the only SRN I was 'responsible' for coming up with backstory for) was a witch's familiar, a black cat who absorbed her moon-based magic and reincarnated through nine lifetimes, gaining more and more silver fur each time, specializing in fae shapeshifting. Being on his final life, he works for Sunstar and Terra as a manor guard and concierge of sorts.

I know very little about Jupiter, save he's a harpy living in the 'SRN' manor's tower, keeping watch with his corvid flock. Despite being a 'Gothic Horror' AU, the setting eventually branched into other folklores and mythologies, with the 'gothic' stuff being most prominent due to the focused region centering around the vampires' and werewolves' ecological origin point. The 'Stardroids' are a motley collection because they've come from all over the world.

Neptune is meant to fill the "Creature from the Black Lagoon" niche as far as the 'classic movie monsters' interpretation of 'gothic horror' goes, and lives in the lake/moat of the manor. Hilariously enough, he is also the manor's primary chef. A rare traditionally-drawn concept piece, but doesn't show off how he's usually caked in algae, and carries a big ol' hook.

Two pics of werewolf Sunstar, done in a far more 'clean' style, because we had just watched Castlevania, haha. Also, something about his design makes me want to go that extra mile.

The Second Numbers are all werewolves, with 'Wily' being one of the oldest; his inner circle of original converts being one of the more notorious 'packs' terrorizing the countryside from their base in a cave with a conveniently skull-shaped mountain face.

Metal is an anti-hunter, who masquerades as a woodcutter and carpenter going from town to town, weeding out threats and opening the towns to raids. Despite this, his initial conversion to werewolf wasn't exactly stellar, and he prefers the company of humans over other werewolves when possible.

Air, by contrast, was killed by hunters rather gruesomely, only to be subjected to an attempt at revival through dark magic. It worked, but he retained sapience - enough so to enact revenge on the hunters who did it. He can no longer revert to human form, but it's a small price to pay given his current reanimated state has a reputation for being nigh unbeatable unkillable.
