If you don't mind, could you talk more about this Daybreak Illusion anime, and why it was bad?
With pleasure.
I might struggle with remembering some bits and pieces about Daybreak Illusion, because despite being born out of Madoka Magica's success, this anime is very very very obscure and easily forgotten.
However, to my luck, a magical girl blogger by the name of @mew-cake (a.k.a.: CakeoftheMews on YouTube) has made a video summarizing and explaining the anime, so y'all can get up to speed on things! She's honestly a lifesaver, 'cause I ain't watching that anime myself for shit!
The video is titled Daybreak Illusion Tripped On Its Face, if anyone's curious.
But, I'll give you my version of the facts...
So, here's the plot's summary:
A young 12yo girl by the name of Taiyou Akari discovers that she has tarot-based powers (she's The Sun card) after her mother's passing. She's later scouted by an organization called Sefiro Fiore, with a team of tarot-based heroes specialized in exterminating wicked beasts by the name of Daemonia.
The thing about Daemonia is that they are innocent civilians who were infected/corrupted/possessed/whatever-the-fuck-happens-to-them-because-the-anime-never-bothered-to-explain-in-rich-detail by evil demons, but they cannot be saved and return back to normal, so the girls have no other choice but to murder these innocents and put them out of their misery.
Akari, our protagonist, is the only girl who can hear the Daemonia's thoughts, listening to their cries of help; which at first it sounds like a solid idea and a catalyst for a huge change in the series... except that this was never brought up again, and every civilian still died anyways.
Y'know, back in the days, we used to throw a Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss on them bastards.
One shot of those, and these corrupted victims were as good as new.
And I don't know much about the ending, but it seems that it ended with everyone dead like the Ugly Barnacle tale, because why not? Why not make everyone's lives even more miserable? As if they weren't content with sexualizing 12yos non-stop.
Yes, it was one of THOSE animes.
The girls' designs look like they came out of a l*licon hentai doujin that you could easily find on those shady websites, one of them is corrupted and transformed into a she-wolf monster going around with their tits and pussy all out in the open (and she was in one-sided/unrequited love with the MC, so I can't help but feel this was yet another demonization of sapphic folk...), and the villain wants to impregnate the 12yo MC and won't fucking shut up about it every single time he's on-screen (oh, and did I mention that the aformentioned villain was heavily implied to be the MC's FATHER?! Hopefully, I don't need to explain to you all why this is gross and totally not legal?!)
So, yeah; this is Daybreak Illusion. A huge waste of time, with fap material for l*licon otakus to relish on, and heavy on the shock value. It's not just bad, it's pure SCUM.
If it serves as any consolation, Magia Record (the game, NOT the anime because we do not talk about it) has a tarot-based magical girl on their ever-growing roster, named Meru Anna, who was a former comrade to Nanami Yachiyo at the Mikazuki Villa.
Unfortunately, she's canonically deceased, as she sacrificed herself in battle to save her friends when her Soul Gem was grimy, and became the Disclosure Witch Etteilla.
Despite the fact that she's dead, her Magical Girl Story reveals that she has become a guardian angel of sorts to Yachiyo, alongside Yukino Kanae, another colleague who perished (mind you, due to Madoka existing as a mortal in MagiReco, the Law Of Cycles is not a thing, so there's not an afterlife for Puella Magi like in the original series).
And, if you're craving something classic, there's CardCaptor Sakura, I guess. I mean, don't get me wrong, this one's the most tame out of the bunch; but there are the gross implications that Sakura and Tomoyo are second cousins, and several references to pedophilia (with Sakura's parents, and an actual teacher/student relationship).
I used to like it as a child, but now that I am more critical of anime, I think it's meh.
Though Tomoyo's fashion sense is still legendary; that's an universally accepted opinion.

Usagi Tsukino / Sailor Moon
Represents: Love and Justice
Colours: Pink (her image colour). White sometimes (in royal forms). Blue, red and gold per her outfit.
Eye colour: Blue
Hair: Long, blonde and in buns with pigtails.
Role: Central figure of the story. Destined to rule and protect.
Personality: Caring, friendly, light-hearted, emotional, nonjudgmental, sincere, highly empathetic and persistent in showing it, protective of others, hopeful, can be bratty, prone to laziness, can get jealous, self-sacrificing, gets scared easily but is more courageous than anyone when she needs to be. Basically, she seems like a completely average normal person without anything special about her, until you put her in a tough situation; then she shows extreme courage and wisdom (based completely in love) and is willing to die for others if it means protecting them from evil.
Likes: Sleeping, reading manga, shopping, playing video games, food.
Dream: To be a bride. To protect the world with Mamoru and her friends.
Family: Mum, dad and little brother. Queen Serenity (her mum from her past life on the moon). Chibiusa (future daughter). Mamoru (future husband).
Love interests: Mamoru. Seiya (briefly in last season).
Usagi would be the character you would least expect to become a brave and capable warrior, let alone a princess and future queen. She’s a very ordinary girl and not too graceful. She often struggles with school, loves to go shopping, and prefers eating snacks and sleeping to fighting scary enemies. She was a very reluctant heroine who initially panicked at the thought of fighting, but over the series she was able to bring together all the Sailor Guardians and earn their trust. She eventually grew into her destiny with grace, accepting the call to protect the world from evil at the cost of an ordinary life. She leads by example, and the goodness of her heart and her innocent motives move even the most cynical of people. She would rather seek friendships than fight, going so far as to extend a hand of friendship to even her enemies. Throughout the series, she matures from being a somewhat lazy crybaby to a deeply loving young woman who sees the bigger picture better than most. As important as her survival is to the future kingdom, she is an innocent girl at heart who would lay down her life for others.
Element / Powers
Sailor Moon attacks with healing, light and love-based attacks. She calls upon the powerful Mystical Silver Crystal to channel her powers and undo evil.
Notable Attacks
Moon Tiara Action - charges her tiara with magic and throws it at the enemy for damage.
Moon Healing Escalation - uses the Moon Stick to spread a light that destroys evil. Her first healing technique.
Moon Princess Halation - she uses the Cutie Moon Rod to direct mystical energy at the enemy for damage.
Moon Spiral Heart Attack/Rainbow Moon Heartache - she twirls gracefully with the Cutie Moon Rod before kneeling and releasing its energy at the enemy.
Moon Gorgeous Meditation - using the Moon Kaleidoscope, Super Sailor Moon damages the enemy and seals them in a mirror dimension.
Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss - Both an attack and healing technique. She uses the Eternal Tiare to disperse a light that damages and/or heals the enemy.
Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss - her most powerful attack and healing technique. Drawing power directly from the Moon, Eternal Sailor Moon aims the fearful moonlight at the enemy using the Eternal Tiare.

Stars 3
I was enjoying my day with Miyako and Fluttershy. Just then, Usagi came to my door in tears. She told me that Mamoru, Ami and Makoto were dead. I could sense it as well. These evil Sailor Senshi were known as Sailor Animamates and they were members of an evil organization known as Shadow Galactica, which was led by Sailor Galaxia. Shadow Galactica was after the Sailor Senshi’s Sailor Crystals. They already had gotten three: Mamoru, Ami and Makoto. I swore a solemn oath to Usagi that we would avenge these three and take down Shadow Galactica, with the help of the remaining Sailor Senshi. I contacted my fellow Powerpuffs and the Mane Six and they made the same commitment. A few hours later, I saw Rei and Minako about to interrogate the Three Lights, when suddenly, another Sailor Animamate arrived. This was Sailor Lead Crow. Just then, Rei’s two crows, Phobos and Deimos, transformed into human women and confronted Sailor Lead Crow. Phobos and Deimos revealed that Sailor Lead Crow had betrayed their home planet of Coronis. She, in turn, revealed that Shadow Galactica had destroyed Coronis before destroying Phobos and Deimos. Usagi and I saw the whole thing and so did our fellow Powerpuffs and the Mane Six. We all transformed, while Usagi transformed into Sailor Moon and used her Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss to destroy Sailor Lead Crow. However, the victory was interrupted by Rei and Minako vaporizing before our very eyes. Luckily, I saw who killed them. It was Sailor Galaxia herself, who took their Sailor Crystals before disappearing. I was now even more willing to take down Shadow Galactica, so my friends and I swore a solemn oath that we would do so.
