Keytar is the leader of Playground and former musician/singer! They're the parent of Confetti Cannon and Discoball Fun facts: -> Keytar's style of music falls under stuff such as "Pop", "rock and roll" and sometimes "heavy metal" -> Their typical fashion sense is very baggy and colorful!!!! -> The pink and green on their outfit represents their children -> Out of all of the faction leaders, Keytar's gear is the weakest from having two children -> They LOVE sweets!!!! Biggest sweet tooth in Playground. -> Keytar is... A little bad with social cues! But they're learning -> Keytar, while being generally GNC/Androgynous, does also feel comfortable presenting as masc too -> R. Keytar's animal theming of choice is a golden retriever!

"Silas, would you love me if I was a worm?"

Silas blinked a few times, then rolled over to look tiredly at his partner.

"Morri," he mumbled. "It's the middle of the night."

Morrigan looked back at him with wide eyes. He was still lying down on their clamshell bed with his hands clasped together over his stomach.

"Silas." He repeated, dead serious. "Would you love me if I was a worm?"

Silas stared at him. "...No? I'd probably eat ya."

Morrigan gasped dramatically and put a hand over his heart. "Silas! That's stone cold of you!"

Silas huffed. "Well, I'm not gonna lie to ya? I don't care about worms other than eatin' em. Especially tube worms. Hmm, maybe I'd love ya if you were a tube worm. Sliced up. With seaweed on the side..."

"Silas!" Morrigan exclaimed. Silas' light teasing had him sitting bolt upright. "This scenario shouldn't involve eating *anybody*! Don't tell me you want to eat *me* now?

"'M not gonna answer that." Silas murmured, and his teeth briefly flashed.

Morrigan felt his face grow hot, and he crossed his arms. "Fine. Would you love me if I was a worm and you knew it was me?"

Silas rolled his eyes. "Course. But it'd be hard to resist eatin' ya."

"SILAS!"

Got bored and made a TR:UD killer oc.... Their name's Blackout Names/Monikers: Blackout, Mono Age: 25 Height: 6'2 Gender: They/Them, It/Its Sexuality: Unknown [ABILITIES TBD] Fun facts: -> Blackout didn't have horns and a tail before Xploit took over -> Blackout is very quiet and stealthy, a "light on their feet" type of killer. -> Blackout's "Flicker" ability allows them to teleport a short distance from their current standing point. [Although game-wise it would have a considerably long cooldown] -> Blackout prefers to keep their face hidden behind their mask -> They can't feel anything on their horns n tail -> The used to be a survivor hence their secondary name of "Mono", one they don't recognize used to be their old name -> Blackout is well known for picking off victims last minute before other killers can finish them off -> Blackout's voice is rather low and raspy from the fact they rarely speak.

Sorry this took so long, but I finally got around to finishing him, this is Dusk Choco Cookie

…Okay I’m gonna be honest, I mostly finished him up because I felt I needed to keep drawing today, and he just needed his outfit finished. So in all honesty, I don’t really know/remember what his personality was. And unfortunately my old notes don’t have anything other than him being a guy

Well, I do know he’s a swordsman like his father and grandfather, and he’s the quiet sort. Despite this, he’s not really similar to them in personality, though I don’t know how to describe how he differs other than he focuses on his individuality more than anything? Like yes he’ll protect his home and people, and he enjoys doing so, but he’ll only rule out of obligation, not because it’s something he aspires to do

He’s very fond of gardens as well, and finds fireflies quite beautiful, because they’re like little living stars. I don’t really know where he’s living, whether it’s the Dark Cacao Kingdom or not, so I don’t know how often he’s realistically seeing them. Though most likely he is living there, so floral gardens are probably more of a rarity. But maybe that’s why he treasures them so

Currently he travels the world, looking to hone his skills (though thankfully not looking for any cursed objects of power)

And I think that’s about all I have for him in all honesty. Sorry, it’s really not much, especially considering the wait time (I mean it’s only been a few months, as compared to others, but you know)

Well anyways, on to design things

Dusk Choco technically isn’t named after any specific food, more like dusk and also chocolate. His mom’s name is Starlit Choco, so I figured it should be star/night themed, and Midnight Choco I had already saved for my Dark Cacao/Moonlight kid, so I ended up with Dusk Choco. Doesn’t really mean anything, but I think it sounds pretty nice regardless

I came up with the hair long ago, so I don’t really remember the process behind that. Today’s sketch work was mostly the outfit, which I sort of ended up centering on the belt and gauntlets I had already made prior

For some reason I decided to look up 500s England outfits for potential inspiration here. Not really sure why other than one of yesterday’s Transformers episodes taking place in that time period with Arthurian legend, and Starlit Choco giving me vaguely fantasy England vibes when I looked at her. I do get it’s entirely wrong to Dark Choco’s theme though

But I mean, I got some neat looking outfit ideas out of this picture, so I used it for some basis and went from there, mainly the bottom tunic and the side cloak

I also want to say I got some inspiration from this one outfit I have tucked away somewhere in my photos for Dark Cacao references, but I don’t know how much it came through

The pin for his cloak was originally supposed to be an Oreo piece like his dad, but I didn’t like how it looked, and I eventually instead changed it to be a rose like his mom

I wasn’t really sure how to do his colors other than blues, but I gave him the silver because I thought it looked good with them (also Midnight Choco was blue and gold). The pinks were originally a gold-ish color, due to me looking up pictures of dusk and seeing some yellow in there. But I thought it clashed a bit too much with the blues so I tweaked it to the pink it is now

Honestly I think I like the pink, and it and the blue cloak kind of reminds me of the Sleeping Beauty dress colors. Which I think kind of fits the vibe I was going for?

But yeah overall, I don’t think he turned out horrible. Maybe he could have been better, but I still think he turned out alright as he is now. Maybe a little too European though

But yeah, that’s Dusk Choco. I hope you at least enjoy him!

okay now for my friend ramblings

i suppose this is my little love letter to shitass! i couldn't squeeze all of you in there [and not all of us are participating in art fight] but, god! you all mean SO much to me as my friends and in a way as my family.

this little server of ours has brought me so much happiness and is such a safe space for all of my thoughts and brainrots and silliness and even my struggles, the conversations i have here make me smile and giggle and stim like a little idiot on the daily. all of the little bonds and oc iteractions are so fun.

and, of course, our little story itself!!!! one of my top favorite oc stories. the power of love and foudn family man. it makes me happy for myself and has provided sooo many fun conversations and collaberation. tldr: i love all of you. Get maimed and killed

How did you and Starlit Supernova meet then?

Um- well kinda-

There's not much to it really, we just met at the Crystal library one day a few years ago and started talking while waiting for the librarian, then we both bonded over wanting to learn more about magic- and that's where our friendship started I guess-

I've suddenly been struck with this vivd scene of Morrigan taking Silas up to the surface during the night to look at the stars for their anniversary or something like that, and Silas just staring up at this vast expanse of stars that are relatively untouched by light pollution. When Morrigan looks over at him the stars are reflecting in Silas' eyes and Silas just looks so. Mesmerised. Happy. Peaceful.

I've said it before but Silas really love the stars. They're such incredible things to him. Like, imagine being Silas. Never seeing a single star in your life apart from maybe the sun. And then seeing a trillion stars in the sky. His mind is blown. He's absolutely amazed. He's in awe. And nowadays the stars make him think of Morrigan and that night together. I also just like the contrast between the directionless, empty blackness of the Abyss below and the sprawling expanse of stars in the sky above, and how this whole thing also kinda represents Morrigan leading Silas out of the Abyss (since he suggested Silas leave Midway to stay somewhere safer where he could be happy)

Anyways Silas' birthday present ends up being like a book on astronomy or something cause once he was stirred out of his shock from seeing stars the first tims, he kept bombarding Morrigan with a million gazillion questions about the stars. Morri didn't know the answers cause he was never that interested outside of when cosmic magic was involved so it was a kind of "Well let's learn together then" thing, so Silas probably has a surprising bit of astronomy knowledge now XD

Honestly I don't think I talk about Silas' curious side enough. Part of why he and Morrigan got on so well was because of a mutual love of learning, and they were able to grow closer through teaching each other new things. Finn gets his own curiosity and creativity from both of them
