does anyone remember the name of that adobe illustrator alternative/substitute that runs in your browser?
i need to update a resume i made in illustrator, but now i don't have that program anymore and would rather not start from scratch in *shudder* krita.
#krita i love you but your text function is terrible.#i know krita can run adobe files#but when i tried that layer was just a static png instead of an editable folder#which is weird vc krita has its own folder system#but i digress#it also didn't show layers that i apparently had non-visible. so they were just empty white layers :(

no d&d today since the rogue is sick! which means no Koska until the end of the month. but that gives me a chance to work on some writing and character stuff that I've been putting on the back burner

#shitpost#my art#digital art#stranger#the stranger#the strangerrr#angel#i made a few design changes to stranger lol#obviously shes ass naked but this is her first time Existing so. forgive her#jess-ava absolutely dresses her btw#probably in something reflective because stranger is always without fail sliiightly darker (in dark environments) that the shadows around i#ive decided that the colour stranger is completely depends on its environment#i thknk thats cool especially considering how angels work#my favourite part about it and jess-ava is that stranger functionally broke into jess-ava's room and stood there until jess-ava noticed#and then got all up in her personal space to figure out what she was and jess-ava went omg bestie! new bestie! because shes dumb as hammers#ive also decided that jess-ava and trustworthy human manager are best friends as well#trustworthy is a walking nightmare (an angel's favourite snack) so jess-ava got banned for life after she tried bringing stranger#he was reasonably afraid. i will admit.#i made this while watching analogue horror and things to get the right vibe#because stranger wouldnt be suuuper out of place in the scrimblo files tbh#it was missing some static and so i just adjusted in the ghost frequency (18.9hz or something like that) to add it#its supposed to make you uneasy (its just below whats perceptible to most human ears) but the audio quality wasnt good#so it just added crackling and popping and distorted the audio a bit#which is exactly what i wanted!! yay!!#also yes i know its fingers are wrong. thwyre like that on purpose#stranger's human design is HEAVILY based off alternates from the mandela catalogue tbh#alternates ARE really cool tho can you forgive me#im still working on the angel design but we've got the humanoid design so far#i love heart colours to represent different types of love btw#stranger's breathing animation is just her changing opacity lmaooo

making slow progress toward a (vaguely) dynamic pokémon custom team template that mimics the Bulbapedia team flyout and after ... a ... While ... of essentially redesigning the element hierarchy from scratch with the help of a friend who is MUCH better at programming than me, it is beginning to Look
(the Absol screenshot was just one I had on hand for a stand-in, my final one will probably look a little different since I want to also add Mega / Partner Pokemon indicators if possible, and to also just tweak the info hierarchy a bit)
#from the writer's den#void talks#getting those corners on the moves was ROUGH. initially it was a table structure but after much struggle#my friend found an implementation that just uses css wizardry instead of html#also for anyone curious: the reason I say it's vaguely dynamic is bc it's actually a jinja template and html#with my vague idea being that essentially it prints out pages for any arbitrary team#(though obviously the pages themselves will be static)#also for those familiar with bulbapedia#I wanted to have a proper 'neuter' gender marker so my eventual goal is to write a little if-then in the jinja file#that allows it to convert to arbitrary symbols (to display) in addition to having the custom colors (in the css)#probably in the form of a 'if [m] / elif [f] / else' for the colors#this is solely bc there's enough neutral-gender pokemon on my oc teams that I want it to actually be indicated#where absence actually means unspecified

#IM---#WHY IS HE GOING SIDE TO SIDE#BROTHER PLEASE WALK STRAIGHT#shouldve made this wwx or something#ok so i found an alternative route to get this shit in 10 minutes#whereas the other path took me a week and it still works less than this#so first take the vrm make a copy and turn the copy into a glb. just change the extension name. then import it to blender#then generate an fbx with or without textures nobody gives a shit just do it#get the animations on that and then import back the skeleton to blender#then on your static model you will want an animation track so literally go into pose mode pick a bone and then add a keyframe#then go ahead delete it. you just wanted a blank animation track#then rename the imported skellys and then push down the animations to make them actions#then add the actions to this model by going to the NLA and just. adding the actions.#thats how to get to this point. idk why hes swaying and how to fix that. im gonna go mess with that now#once this works i can fulfill my dream and i can start mocapping myself with a whip#ive been mocapped before ive never done it myself tho#ive always been a minor antagonist in every game ive been in#is there something about my face?#forgot to mention. this fixes the glb file geometry rendering export issue. now i can use glb again#which means i can put this shit on neocities#edit: I found the issue. DO NOT adjust the skeletons and absolutely do NOT EVER transform all while importing#this is my guide to myself because I will forget and then get screwed so bad#edit edit: do not import glb using the default setting on blender. use the middle setting. idk what it says but thats the one.#use the one with cones not balls
