It'd been on his mind for a while. Transitioning out of being on Delphine's detail -- he needed more, he didn't just want it. The ups and downs of the last three and a half years was monumental. And in that, he'd finally managed to find some kind of purposes. Protecting her life, although he'd never outwardly say it, had been one of the biggest achievements in his life. Something he'd never thought would've been possible before Évelyné had put him forward for the position.

Olivier, though, dreamed of rising in the ranks. And becoming more than a personal body shield for someone else. There was an art form in what he did, there was no doubt. And yet, when he was around Yves...he admired the man. His and Delphine's relationship had always been contentious, with a fine, fine line between friendship and hatred. To which, they'd teetered on the edge so any times.

Bored, was what he was. Standing guard by the window, he'd spent the better part of the last hour silently checking people wandering past, and rotating in the room for anything that was thought to be untoward. Clearing his throat, he realised he'd hardly spoken today, an uncommon trait for the giant that was towering in her home.

"Is there anything more you need to do?"

Having a friend who decides they're going to fistfight God on your behalf the next time they're getting high on acid is -

Well it's something I never thought I would say about myself. So it is a bizarre, but very touching honor.

It was in the laughter that they found their way to the circle of tents that were undoubtedly filled with cretins they'd both rather avoid: Odile, thankfully, had been placed with the more tasteful of the two delegations. "It's a good job, we're a pretty demanding bunch, aren't we?" Although, if she did say so herself, Laurent was the most needy of them all. She missed teasing him, winding him up until he was just about to snap, and then cooling off...so she could repeat. And he was no better...where do you think she'd learned it from?

At the mention of Olivier's name, she decidedly didn't push further: she settled on agreeing. Odile had known Olivier since her arrival in London and was very much aware of his prone nature to fuck up. Her friendship with him was of no consequence, unless it was on his arse...then she might have whispered in Delphine's ear once or twice...

A friend. He was learning...all that bullshit.

"Well, if it's a break you're in need of, then you're with the right girl..." she didn't care that she had to buy her own drinks, but that hot tub? "We need to find the rich people, the ones that like us...that hot tub is calling mine name." and the second she got a line in her, the party truly would begin.

The work part, however, she wasn't impressed with. "Do we have to work, or can I buy them? I have money, I'll pay more. I don't care. I don't do manual labour."

Delphine rarely laughed and didn't smile unless it was actually genuine. People would get a smirk now and then, but when interacting with her people, she found herself letting her guard drop just a little bit.

At Odile's comment, she let out a genuine laugh and make an arm gesture. "What can I say? I know what my people need," she teased. She wanted to ask about Laurent, but wasn't sure if she should bring it up or not, especially since their phones had to be given up.

"Yes, he's free to do...whatever the hell it is that he does." She said, waving a hand in the air. "The last thing I need to deal with is living in a poor tent with a Rutherford and Olivier hovering over me. That would add extra stress on both sides but most especially mine." She admitted. "Plus, I need a break from the guy." She linked her arm with the other womans and started walking away from their poor tents. "So...any idea on the type of 'work' we're supposed to do to earn drinks around this place?"

𓍢ִ໋🌷͙֒ Save File Progress - Willow Creek

Willow Creek Residents + their problems:

1. The Crumplebottoms: This is my take on TS3 Agnes and giving her the life she wishes she had. In this version, her husband is alive and they were able to have kids.

 2. The Pancakes: Bob finally reached his limit with Eliza and demanded a separation, which ultimately turned into a divorce. The kids took it better than he thought, and they both chose to live with him over their mother. Bob owns his own Pizzeria and him and the kids are very well off!

3. The Ali Sisters:***TW: CHILD LOSS ------------- Nala's daughter suffered a tragic accident that resulted in her death. Nala [top right] was rightfully devastated and lost herself for months, Her sister Ada moved in with her recently to keep an eye on her and make sure she is coping and healing properly. Grief is something you never get over, especially when it's your own child, but we all need love, acceptance and support at our worst. Nala is so greatful for Ada, even if she can't express that right now.

4. The Browns: Robert and Matilda's daughter, Alicia, got involved with a man she shouldnt have, and got pregnant. Alicia moved back in with her parents and all seemed well until Jana was born. Alicia got into dr*gs and alcohol and started neglecting her parental responsibilities. After a while, Robert and Matilda had to prioritize Jana's wellbeing and kicked Alicia out, on the condition that if she gets the help she needs, she is welcome to come back home and attempt a relationship with Jana.

5. The Stclairs: ***TW: HOMOPHOBIA ------------- almost the perfect family. Unfortunately, there's something splitting up this household. Little Ava [bottom middle] has recently told her family that she likes girls, and it divided the whole family. It took a while, but eventually everyone came around...except for her mom [top right], who spends most time crying, screaming and starting arguments, and praying her daughters' "disability" goes away on its own. What's making tension worse? There's a rumor that Ava apparently has a little girlfriend, and mom is NOT happy...

6. The Parks: This family has almost no issues, they all love each other very much and little Hana adores her big brother Michael so very much.

another guest that takes advantage of the plus one rule, is dirk, who arrives with his assistant, cecilia stclair. somehow, after liyah's welcome party, cecilia managed to get into dirk's good graces & became his assistant. liyah still didn't recognise who she was & they never had an opportunity to talk, but something about cecilia rubbed her the wrong way.
