I 3D printed my own stamp and it turned out so gooooood 😭

I digitized my birch tree pattern in GIMP, and then used the stamp-o-matic tool on thingyverse. It was so easy!! I just uploaded my image to the tool they listed in the description, copied the output, clicked customize on the thingyverse page, and then pasted those values into the input. After slicing, adjusting the size, and printing, this is the result!

After watching this video by TheCrafsman SteadyCraftin (sooo good, the little puppet teaches you to craft 🥰) I thought I would have to create a silicone mold and make a rubber stamp, but because skin is so elastic, I think it actually works better when the stamp is made of hard plastic 🤯

Need to research ink pads that don't wash off as easily, but I am so excited to use this for makeup in one of the costumes I'm making! Just have to print 14 more eyes lololol

Here is the neck joint in action for the Space Werewolf! I was inspired by @steadycraftin to try a rubber urethane he demonstrated awhile back for the middle neck piece so that it could flex and move against the urethane head. It worked so well! Thanks Crafsman! You should definitely follow him for a lot of learning and charming explorations into all kinds of custom figure making materials and methods! Wooooot!!! Thank you @steadycraftin for your amazing pewter casting tutorial. I found these carved bone beads on a bracelet at a charity shop and instantly thought I could use them in my work. Even better, what if I could make more in metal! The tutorial was a delight to watch and explained everything super simple. And look! 👀 It worked first time. Now to clip off the bits I don’t need (which will be reused) and polish and oxidise. First attempt at a prop build. It's not to legion standards but a little bit above Halloween quality, which is what I'll be using it for anyway. Had a ton of fun putting this together, I really tried to take my time and make things work. The base and switches are machined from a slab of wood I found at work, the rest is paint and found materials. It's far from perfect but I feel proud. Can't wait to finish the rest of the costume now.
