Now that my birthday fics have all gone up, I can finally share that they included two of my favorite pieces of Stede dialogue I've ever written, ever.

First, from the one where Ed has a migraine and Stede goes out to shout at nature to shut the fuck up so Ed can sleep, Stede pointing at a songbird and going "you're a sadist" is brilliant and I love it.

And my absolute favorite, from the one where Ed and Stede talk about what happened at the end of s1 and Stede learns what Izzy said to Ed: "if I were you, I would've eaten his toes myself, just to really drive home the point."
