Steve thinks it will be a good idea to prank the up and coming group Corroded Coffin. He does a prank that involves them getting stuck in traffic and they might miss the gig that they’re going to which Steve made sure to call the place before hand so no real damage was done. Steve was able to get the best reactions out of Gareth and Jeff but Eddie’s reaction caught Steve off guard. Instead of freaking out, Eddie was laughing his ass off and he was trying to bring his band mates spirits up. For the audience this wasn’t good television but for Steve this was probably better than what he expected. Seeing Eddie who came off as standoffish in the press turn out to be the kindest person in this situation kind of made Steve intrigued by him. After the show Steve pulls Eddie to the side and compliments him for the way he handled things, Steve didn’t realize that his cheeks were turning a light shade of pink while Eddie was giggling at the sight.

Somehow through his rambling that went on for way to long Steve ended up asking Eddie if he wanted to hang out after he wrapped up the show and Eddie says yes without hesitation. They go out to eat after the show and it’s the biggest headline in the newspaper, there’s speculation that their new friendship might turn into something else just by the pictures that were taking. When the photos get back to Steve he couldn’t even deny that the photos looked romantic even though that wasn’t his intentions, he genuinely wanted to get to know Eddie so they could be friends. Eddie isn’t bothered by the rumors in the slightest and he actually likes the idea of him and Steve being a thing since their personalities went together perfectly. The next time they hang out it’s because Eddie made arrangements for it to happen, both of them decide to go to another restaurant together and Eddie may have took them to a restaurant that were definitely made for couples by accident (truly a mistake). Steve didn’t catch on to the setting because he was having so much fun with Eddie and in the back of his mind if this was a date, he really enjoyed it.

A few months go by and it’s not even a rumor that Steve and Eddie are dating, they are dating. After hanging out for so long and eventually they started spending time at each other’s houses it just made sense that they got together. They were inseparable as time went on and they started making their relationship public. Everything were sunshine and kisses for the new couple.

And it all started with a prank.
