This is one of two drawings I did during Stephen Georg's Extra Life stream in 2021. It's an annual event benefiting his local Children's Network hospital in Myrtle Beach, SC!

6. what other fandoms are you in, apart from this one?

ooh boy. I think my second biggest fandom I'm in is probably Pokemon which I got into around the same time (but I think a bit earlier) than YGO. I also love Disney, musical theater as a whole, Brooklyn 99, You, a handful of bandoms and artistdoms, and a few streamer communities on twitch and discord (Ray formerly of Achievement Hunter/Rooster Teeth, StephenGeorg/StephenPlays)

7. What drew you into writing your current character(s)?

Honestly, it was a perfect storm of a rewatch of Yu-Gi-Oh, being an independent RPer on tumblr for almost two years from then, and seeing YGO blogs being brought up on my dash. I toyed with making maybe Téa/Anzu but I was more worried I would make her a bit too much of a self-insert because I would HEAVILY lean into having an outlet for just my excess knowledge of musical theater/dance. I didn't want to just make Téa an alternate version of what I wanted to be in real life if that makes sense. So, I went with Kaiba. Who is on a completely different spectrum than Téa as everyone is aware haha. I wanted to see how he could be years after the ceremonial battle while also keeping in mind of not making him too old or in GX since I didn't watch the series yet (still...haven't. it's on my to do list!). Also, I have an older brother who is fiercely protective of me and can be a bit of an ass at times but loves me and would do anything for me as I would for him and I look up to him (wish we had the bank accounts as the Kaibas do tbh).

I was watching one of StephenGeorg's stream playing either BOTW or Pokemon LGPE, and I have no idea what brought this idea up, but I was in a SM mood after watching the Dream Arc movies, so I drew it for the heck of it. Hope you enjoy.

been watching stephengeorg play the original pokemon tcg game on gameboy colour and it's honestly really cool seeing the pixel art versions of all the art on the cards. that's so fucking cool, to see all the work that went into the games we grew up with in a different light. it must have been a lot of work to render all of those cards digitally, too.

It seems like almost every LPer has had some sort of side thing they do, besides just Let's Plays.

Like Tim, Stephen, and Josh do vlogs. Reese does those Bubba's Mailbag videos. Patrick does those "Let's Play Life" videos. Tyler has his original songs, in addition to occasional vlogging. Donna has had side videos where she did like paranormal stuff. Jon has that podcast that he does.

But... Jake and Emile have nothing...

If they do, then correct me, because I seriously don't know if they do or not.

If I ever had one goal in life, it is this:  I want to meet Josh Jepson or Stephen Georg... in person.  I would like to be able to say that I've met one of the YouTube stars that have basically changed my life and made sure I would never know what depression felt like.  I would like to tell them in person what they've done for me, and thank them for it.

Because of Josh, I met my boyfriend, the best person ever!  Because of Stephen, I look at life from a different angle.  I actually thought it was unfair for Let's Players to be perfect, but I see now why they are.  They are perfect because they know they can have some effect on other peoples' lives, and instead of telling them to change the way they are, they encourage being an individual and that's why I love them.

Sorry for the long post, but I just had some things on my mind...
