drunk steve headcanons 😚

is it just me or is it super cute sometimes when guys are really drunk and need you to baby them? steve is no exception

drunk steve doesn’t come out often

but when he does

oh boy

you hate parties, but somehow steve convinced you to go to one

because “everyone was going to be there”

you’d much prefer a quiet night in watching movies till either of you fell asleep

but you gave in

you guys go to the party

and some girls from school join you

steve leaves you guys alone for a bit

you drink some of the spiked punch

and you’re having a good time!

you’ve talked to more people tonight than since high school started probably

you lose track of time

but then see it’s 1am

you’re pretty sober by now

looking for your boy

and you find him outside

chugging from the keg

“steve.”

“oh hi baby” *giggles

“it’s late, we should head back to my place”

“cmon y/n it’s only what, 10?”

“past midnight actually”

you notice he’s really drunk lol and he never usually gets like this

“how many beers did you have?”

“7,8? oh maybe like 12? yeah definitely 12”

you shake your head and drag him out to his car

he gets into the drivers seat but you pull him out

“no way you’re driving like that”

you try to get into the car but he pulls you into his arms instead

he smells like cheap alcohol

and his hair is a MESS

“mmmm you smell like rainbows”

what is a rainbow supposed to smell like you wonder

he doesn’t pull away from you but just leans against your shoulder

you push him away and seat him into the passenger seat, patting him on the shoulder

“let’s go home buddy”

you get back to your house

no ones home

you half carry steve on your shoulder inside

onto the couch

he’s half asleep already

you drape a couple blankets over him

and you turn to head upstairs

and you just hear giggles galore

“go to sleep, dingus”

“but baaabyyy”

“but what?”

“you no kiss me”

you sigh but smile to yourself cuz he’s just being cute

and lean down to kiss him on the forehead

“better?”

“better.”

“you’re gonna be so hungover tomorrow, god”

and he just giggles again
