Honestly, Stolas talking about Blitzo being his one true friend is stupid, dude, he spent one day with you, he didn't even want to in the first place, his dad just guilt-tripped him into it, and all he did was steal from you (Not putting the blame on Blitzo for this, his dad manipulated him into it but still) and now you are acting like you two were childhood friends for years, it's stupid, Blitzo didn't even remember you.

Really? Then give me one-time Stolas ever treated Blitz with respect without talking down to him, sexualizing him, embarrassing him or calling him Blitzy which Blitz made it very clear that he does not like being called that and told Stolas to stop calling him that.

Definitely my most controversial pick for this list! Catra was an abused child soldier and abused her sister Adora, she was redeemed buttt her arc wasn't really...good. One of the more sympathetic ones, he's still an asshole but he does try to change and he is well written. He's egotistical and has a huge ego, we do get a positive implied outcome in the series finale, but it's still unclear. I know another anti probably already pointed this out, but Catra had some real potential, they just started their redemption arc way too soon, same with Helluva Boss, it has potential but it keeps clinging to it's worst feature, Stoliz, and keeps trying to make Stolas a cute UwU soft gay boy despite him being a horrible person.

I kinda of wanted to say this so pardon me and i deeply apology if my wording sounded homophobic, i don't know how to word it out so let me know if i said anything wrong.

The thing that bothers me in every single fandom is people tend to go like "toxic Yuri 😍" and i thought, how off that felt because now we're supposed to romanticizes toxic relationship between gay people?

It's even worse when it's used for "enemies to lovers" (I can't even call it that anymore), like, are you telling me it's only okay if it's gay no matter how toxic it is or people will still enjoy it regardless?

C//A is, uncomfortable an example of "toxic yuri" and i hate it, you want a good representation so why are you romanticizing a toxic relationship between two gay characters and ignoring how one was like, i don't know, abuser or racist (not saying Catra is one other than her being an abuser but the racist part is for people who ships a popular mlm ship after one said something racist to him (apologized afterwards but still yikes)) or any of that and the fact that their supposed to be partner is hurt, having PTSD, panic attack or any sort of that?

Hi! Dw, your wording didn't sound homophobic! I know what you mean, obviously lgbtq+ representation is good, buttttttt because of how little we get it, whenever we get a couple, no matter how toxic it is *cough* Catradora and Stoliz *cough* people will immientally ship it and fawn over it, which is dissapointing considering there is ACTUALLY good representation like Lumity and Bubbleline, it's just really upsetting.

I haven't really seen SPOP yet, but after reading this blog I don't think I have any interest to. Catradora especially just sounds like a female and more kid-friendly version of Stolitz given how many people compare the two ships, and uh, anyone who saw posts about Stolitz would know how I feel about that ship...

Thanks for the ask! I wouldn't recommend you watch spop, but if you ever decide to I won't stop you, just don't forget the other seasons happened while watching season 5. But yeah Catradora and Stolitz is pretty similar, the only differences are Catradora is wlw and Stoliz is mlm and Catradora has no sex stuff but they are both toxic queer ships that are praised and romanticized by the show and fandom.

(This is an HB ask) Hey so just so you know uhhh season 2 is going to try (and fail) to retcon it's way out of making Stolitz not toxic while flipping the victim and abuser roles to daemonize Blitzo for not loving the poor owl boy who sexually abuses him. And it will paint Stolas as a UwU soft boy who did nothing wrong when that ain't the case. Oh, and one scene in episode 6 may or may not piss you off.

So basically a male version of Catradora

Thanks for the ask and warning! Also yeah I do see some parrels between Stoliz and Catradora, they are both heavily toxic queer couples but are extremely romanticized by the show and fandom. Even before I knew about the full moon deal and just watched clips of Stoliz I still didn't like it. Blitzo just seemed uninterested while Stolas flirted with him. It became worse when I actually watched the show. And yeahh it's really depressing when shows do that, instead of just having them not get into a relationship because it's toxic and have them be with someone who was better for them and not toxic because for some reason the creators just seem to love toxic couples. (Also yeah, definitely a big owl house fan, it's disappointing that shit like spop gets 5 seasons and Owl House only got three when it's far superior in so many ways not just representation)

Helluva Boss and Spop actually have healthy couples, like Helluva Boss with Moxxie and Millie and She-ra with Bow and Glimmer, so I'll just look at Catradora and Stoliz and wonder what the hell happened.
