If you could live in any video game, which one would it be and why?

pokemon. no competition whatsoever, just pokemon.

there are no drawbacks to living there. you get to have pokemon (!), it's similar to our world so you won't miss technology, healthcare is apparently free, the police are apparently there to do actual good, wars are long gone, there's, for the most part, global peace, they seem to have no crisis of anything (food, housing, economy, poverty), it's a HUGE world and we, as players, know most if not all of it (so we won't be out of our depth if you like, say, try to get out of the continent in botw or smth), just-

like yeah maybe i won't get any powers for myself, but i get to have a golett? an eevee? i get to travel around without worries for money at like age 11? the chance of anyone on the streed doing me any actual harm is .00001%? all you gotta worry about is the occasional team of weirdos trying to end the world (which is still, like, nobody targetting you in specific), but like-

look at our own world rn and tell me that's not like baby's first bully. plus, after the one or two events every region gets of some idiot trying to summon their local leviathans, they... no longer have any issues? like if i isekai'd into the world of pokemon right now, would all the plots have already taken place? if so, literally what could go wrong with going to live in, like, hoenn. team rocket doesn't even operate there afaik. and even IF you were to get isekai'd to before all the plot happens, that's still like- that's still getting solved anyway. and since money seems to be a non-issue, you could just peace out and then return to your preferred region.

august twelve. our usual saturday.

matik na 'to kapag saturday. buti na nga lang halfday na siya kapag Saturday, mas maaga na siyang nakakarating ng Legazpi from Naga. kaya mas may time na kami mag stroll stroll or mag foodtrip around the area.

unlike nung dati niyang schedule na Saturday ang off niya, hindi siya halfday kapag Friday, so from work ko inaantay ko siya lagi sa SM para sabay kami umuwi tas nag didinner nalang kami non, atleast ngayon pwede na kami makagawa ng ibang bagay like videoke, manuod ng sine, mamasyal, magpa pamper, maglaro sa timezone or world of fun or whatever.

Saturday last week, sinamahan niya ako magpa full body massage, kaming dalawa nga sana kako, kaso ayaw niya naman. then after dun, nag lakad lakad kami bandang ayala tas kumain lang kami ng siomai. nag hanap rin kami ng coin purse kasi nasira ng yung luma kong coin purse. pano ba naman, 2017 ko pa yun gamit haha. atleast tumagal. then tinry namin yung milktea sa Kurimi dun kami tumambay at nag daldalan haha.

mga ganitong date lang talaga okay na ako e. hehe. pero once in a while okay din naman mag try ng bago, like mag dinner sa mamahaling restaurant, actually, goal namin yun kasi di pa namin nagagawa ever since. lagi kasi kaming fast food at streed food though okay lang naman sakin. wala lang, maiba lang minsan. hehe.

Ráno jsem se vzbudila docela brzy a přestože jsem původně plánovala Sticky waterfall, upustila jsem od toho. Bylo by to časově velmi natěsno a já si chtěla užít poslední pohodovej den. Měla jsem naplánovaný odpolední let do BKK, kde jsem měla asi 4 hodiny časovou díru, kterou jsem chtěla využít na návštěvu nějaké bangkokské michelin reataurace, nebo respektive v mejch legínách a špinavým triku spíš nějakej bib gourmad streed food.

Ráno jsem si představovala hezkou snídani v zahradě ve které bych hezky dopsala blog. Vydala jsem se podle recenzí tedy na vzdálený konec města. Cestou jsme potkala tolik krásnejch mazlivejch kočiček, že se mi cesta dost protáhla. Každá musela dostat poslední podrbání. Pak jsem dokonce narazila na místní trh, velmi lokální. Tam jsem koupila prasečí smažené kůže a paní mi hned dávala ochutnat. Takhle jsem si snídani teda úplně nepředstavovala, ale ochutnala jsem. No mňamka, prostě škvarky:).

Z trhu jsem pak pokoupila pro sebe kari pastu přímo z mísy a doufala, že mi cestou do čech nevyteče v batohu. Po příchodu na místo vysněné restaurace jsem zjistila, že je kavárna zavřená. A ostatní doporučené varianty jsou někde úplně v háji. Do toho další kočky. Další drbání. Nedaleko bylo doporučované místo na snídani s názvem Beer garden. Neber to. Přišlo mi to sost úsměvný. Ale ceny mi pak moc úsměvný nepřišly a celé to bylo dost turistické, takže jsem hladová zase vycouvala a dala si úplně jednoduchou snídani v nějakém hostelu cestou.

Při hledání kavárny jsem nicméně míjela několik hezkých chrámů, které jsem chtěla navštívit. Dala jsem si jedno výborné kafíčko a popíjela ho v kouzelné zahradě schované za chrámem. Zahrada měla i jezírko s rybama, kterým jste za 10bth (6kc) mohli koupit krmení. Občas nějaká ryba vykoukla a zdálo se, že to jsou pěkný macci. Tak jsem koupila granule, abych si je prohlídla víc. Teda, to byli úplný giga ryby. Chvílema to bylo až děsivý, jak po sobě skákali a lapali po granulích. Doporučila jsem tuhle zábavu pak britskému páru, co přišel a myslím, že utracených peněz nelitovali. Zahradu jsem si prošla, potkala staršího mnicha co mi něco thajsky říkal a pak mě postavil před chrám a vyfotil si mě. Byla jsem trochu v šoku:D. Asi mi ukazoval, jak se cítí oni;).

Paní u kávy mi doporučila na poslední jedlé dárky nejstarší trh mimo centrum, tak jsem zkušeně chytla taxík a za standartní cenu se nechala odvézt. Moc času jsem neměla, ve 12 jsem totiž měla opustit hostelový pokoj:/. Takže jsem na trh vlítla a brala, co se dalo. Šla jsem i po konkrétních věcech, které jsem ale úplně nemohla sehnat. Ale když jsem se zeptala, tak mě vždycky prodavačky někam odtáhly a tam to měli. Takže vlastně úspěšnej den. Po odstěhování z hostelu jsem si chtěla užít ještě poslední masáž a dala si thajskou. Stehna mě z výletu v džungli pěkně bolely, ale to jsem paní masérce řekla a ona byla supr jemná. Neříkám, že to nebolelo. Abych nekecala. Ale bylo to příjemné. Škoda, že po zrelaxovaých svalech za pár hodin nebude ani památka, až se budu kroutit několik hodin v letadle a na letištích a v autobuse. Uf. Po masáži jsem šla ještě na oběd a ulovit botky, co měla Viktorie a co se mi moc líbily. Bohužel oběd trval trochu déle, než jsem si stanovila v hlavě v mém harmonogramu, takže jsem pro boty regulérně běžela. Supr věc v tom vedru. Boty měly poslední, velikost tak tak. Ale, když už jsem pro ně běžela, přeci je tu nenechám! Sandály in dá haus a metelila jsem na hostel. No jestli mi kvůli sandálům uletí letadlo, trochu se ty boty prodraží:D.

Došla jsem na přepážku, aby mi vytiskli boarding pas a pán to nemohl najít. To mě trochu znervóznilo, ale pak mi řekl že stojím u blbý společnosti:D. No, jsem se hold spletla. U správné společnosti jsem ve frontě zjistila, že mi od nich ráno přišel email, kde píšou něco o změně letového plánu. Málem mě kleplo. Nakonec to bylo jen že se let posouvá o 40min později. Nicméně viděli můj batoh, který tentokrát opravdu neměl povolených 7kg a donutili mě ho zvážit. 13kg. Upsik. Paní na přepážce navrhla, že teda si z něj můžu něco vyndat, že přihmouří oči. Jako, vyndej 5kg do plátěnky, která už tak byla narvaná. Naštěstí jsem měla druhou plátěnku, kterou jsem naplnila, fikaně ji nechala za rohem a šla se odbavit znovu. Jiná paní batoh ani nezvážila, vytiskla boarding pas a já mohla za rohem jak idiot věci zase sbalit. Zpoždění se nakonec dostalo až na 1,5hod, což zruinovalo můj plán na večeři v Bangkoku. Na letišti v Chiang Mai jsem potkala jednu holku z Pai, tak jsme drbaly a dohodly se, že na véču skočíme spolu. Jak se zpoždění prodlužovalo, šance na společnou večeři se zkracovaly. Nakonec zbyl scénář, že dojedem na večeři do 10min vzdáleného nákupního centra, kde má být vyhlášený podnik a já si říkala, že ještě dokoupim nějaké mlsky. Bohužel ani to nevyšlo. Na letišti v BKK se nám nedařilo sehnat taxík, tak jsme se rozloučily a já zaplula zpátky do letištní haly. Někde jsem se dočetla, že tam je slušná jídelna. Tak vzhůru. A ano! Na začátku si směníte peníze za papírový kupóny a těma pak u jednotlivých stánků platíte. Dala jsem si tradičně mleté s thajskou bazalkou (ostatně jako skoro každý den, když jsem neměla zelené kari). A bylo to dobrý:)). Paní jsem řekla, že chci jen trochu pálivé, což dodržela, ale zato mi tam dala česneku, že by táta byl v sedmým nebi. Já v nebi nebyla. A mojí budoucí spolusedící v opravdovém nebi taky nebudou. Dokonce tam měli i bar. To moje srdíčko poposkočilo. Ze bych si vynahradila ty lakomý araby, co mi v letadle nenalejou? Nějak jsem se ale přecpala, a ani to pivo jsem nezvládla. Vostuda.

No a pak, pak jsem sedla na letadlo a trmácela se další tři dny domů… A je to. Konec. Tak zase příště!

Fictober 2020 Day 1

Prompt: Fish

Character: Bane

Warnings: no

Wordcount: around 800

AN: From now on I will be trying to post one short fic for every prompt from my Fictober list.

Gotham had been under siege for two months now.

Two months with no food imports meaning the supplies had dwindled quite much. Luckily there were other means of getting something to eat if one owned certain skills.

And that was what the young woman was doing at the moment; armed with a bow and arrows, she sneaked her way through the concrete jungle to one of the many big parks within the barricaded city limits. She had grown up in a small town that was surrounded by wilderness and where hunting was as common as wiping ones ass after taking a shit.

It was her fifth trip since this all began and just like the last times she went when the sky had fallen dark. Tonight it was planned to return home with either a rabbit (or other kind of rodent) or some fish.

She had a few areas in mind where the water wouldn´t be frozen because of thermal springs and was close to the first one, when she had to hide behind some huge dumpsters: A block in ahead of her a group of men had stepped onto the streed she had been traveling on.

Even from the distance she took the nearly one dozen men to be those of the masked captor.

Fear settled in her heart, what was about to happen to her when she was found hiding with a weapon. Hoping her dark clothing would camouflage her enough in the shadows, she pulled her scarf over her mouth to stop her breathing from freezing in the cold air and calling her out like that. Luckily there had not been new snow that day, so there would be no footprints to make out on the streets.

The men seemed to take forever to pass her hideout, one of them even stopping at the corner to the valley she was hiding in.

Being extra careful, she waited another small eternity before she continued her way and it was two hours later than planned when she reached the most promising spot at Grant Park.

There at the edge of the water two ducks and a school of carps were resting just two meters of shore with the fish being just barely under  the surface.

Deciding two carps would be better than one small duck, she prepared three of her arrows with some fishing-line and took aim.

Four shots later the young woman made her way back home; two dead fished securely hidden in her backpack.

Moving shadows on the floor around two hundred meters in front of her caught her attention and she wanted to hide again in an alleyway  when another movement in that alleyway made her turn.

There, barely an arm-length away stood danger incarnate. The masked captor Bane; his hands gripping the shoulder straps of his protective vest and his eyes looking straight into her eyes.

With huge eyes of fear she took a step back, only to hit a parked car.

“No place to hide this time, little one.”, the giant chuckled, ”Now, what is a young female doing out at this time with a bow and arrows, I wonder? Trying to kill me and my men?”

Hurriedly she shook her head no. “N-No!”

“No? Then tell me what it is, Please.”, he added the last part after a short pause. In the meantime ten men had surrounded her.

Gulping nervously, she felt her panic rise and heartbeat tumbling over itself.

“We are waiting.”

“F-Fish.”

“Fish?”, he repeated her word as a question.

“I got fish at Grant Park- Lake.”

“With bow and arrows?”, a male from her left asked.

“Y-Yes. I can show them to you.”, you offered.

“Barsard will check that. Hand him the bag Miss.”

She did as asked.

“Two Carps with arrow-wounds. She is speaking the truth. Now, what are you doing with these fish?”

“Surviving.”, she admitted.

“A good treat anyone should master. Where did you?”, Bane wondered.

“Home, in a rural town. I swear! I don´t want to kill anyone.”

“Well then; Swim along little fish and be careful. You don´t want to get eaten by the sharks.”, Bane rasped, “Who knows, maybe this fish will become a dragon one day. Barsad, keep an eye on her. I wonder what she will be hunting next.”, he spoke once the young woman had disappeared around a corner, two blocks north.

“Yes, Boss.”

Today, I watched the three episodes of The Netflix Documentary Original Series titled Streed Food: Asia for Thailand, Japan, and Singapore. I really love this series because it is very eyes wide opening. I have a bunch of interest in food. This series served the authentic and legendary food from each country.

There are a common characteristics from these famous foods. They are made from toughness, patience, and love. It was a long way process before they discovered the best recipes. The chef has a very high commitment for every food they made. They put love, energy, and innovation in it. They are evolves but still hold its very own recipe.

Those are the things that we can learn from the series. We can gain insights for the food and take lessons from the story of each owner as well 😊
