MASSIVE INFODUMP ABOUT THE CQ TRIO (Fresh, Geno, and Error) UNDER THE CUT!

i love them sm (some stuff might be wrong this is all from memory)

okay so the cq trio is 3 sanses that i adore to the maxium. CQ stands for Crayon Queen, who was the one who created all three! cq trio gets its nickname mainly from her, but i also call them that because of a fancomic called mcq (momma cq) that had them all as brothers, since they are all from the same creator. Fresh was the first to be made iirc, and he was created as a random one on a stream cq did. His nickname is also 90s piece of trash! He is not technically a sans, just a parasite that possesses other monsters, though it prefers skeletons bcs he can crawl thru their sockets, so they are easier to posses (this also allows for so many fusions of fresh and others, like fresh ink! who i hate (lovingly). Geno n error are the other 2, and are entirely linked. Geno was a classic sans who went through a ton of genocide runs, and in tryinf to stop them injected himself with determination ( which is. very bad for monsters.) he basically starts melting and gets killed again but. is able to use a save star to enter the save screen. freezing him in time so hes stuck between dying and not. He has an entire comic (search up aftertale if u wanna read ut which i highly recommend i love it sm) but he basically has 3 main outcomes; the common one in fanon but also in canon ending, where hes stuck in the save screen forever, the good ending which is the comics canon end, where he escapes the savescreen without dying and gets to live on the surface eith the rest of the undertale cast. and the half official canon ending? (i say half bcs it was never fully realized but. was confirmed to be going to happen by cq) where he does escape to the surface but messes around with his determination, accidently sending himself to the antivoid, where he glitches out, which wipes out his entire memory. WHICH BRINGS US THE 3RD BOY AND MY FAV FOR THE LONGEST (jazz hands),,,,, ERROR!!!!

Although his comic was never finished, cq confirmed he was intended to be geno in the past, though he doesnt remember it! He lives in the save screen and answes the voices (tumblr blog asks) to talk! hes. kinda insane but in a silly way! and is the self proclaimed destroyer of worlds! who assigned him this job? why, himself of coarse! and he is providing the multiverse with a great love by doing this (no he is not). hes self centered, has really bad mood swings, sees and hears things others cant (though they are real, others just cant see them), dissociates whenever he talks on certain things, and is overall! not okay! i love him so fucking much holy shit. so he has his own tumblr ask thing (which theres like an hour long dub on yt if u wanna watch it) but basically what it mostly shows is, he loves chocolate (he eats it with the wrapper on. he also has. 6 tongues? iirc) he also loves puppets! and makes puppets of different au sanses! and talks to them as if they are. people. mayber they are! idk! although he destroys aus he has a soft spot for 2, outertale because he loves the space and the stars, and undernovela, his favourite spanish soap opera au! (he does not speak spanish. nore does he get subtitles. hes quite literally stalking these people through portals and calling it a show.) he also has magic strings! which he uses to take the human souls from aus he destroys so they cant reset. he didnt always have them though :)

but he doesnt remember that! hes so so silly i lvoe him so much.

oh also he kidnapped and underswap sans and forced him to stay in the antivoid and the blue, kinda started to befriend him? but uh. he mad error mad so error left him alone in the void until blue started to glitch and hear the voices as well. though he still cant see the random tumblr blogger error left tied up in the antivoid, so who knows if thats real. but enough about blue!!! we jsut love the silly man error!!!!!!!

so blue tried to teavh him how to knit while they were in the antivoid, but erros really bad at it,, like really really reallyyyyy bad at it. and he despises it. but!!! its how they start bonding!!! he also loves loves loves to rob underfell because they have amazing spicy chocolate. he also just enjoys fucking with this one underfell sans by stealing his stuff and using his au as a trash dump! said sans is not aware of this and is confused about who tf is stealing his stuff and throwing trash at him. MORE FUN ERROR FACTS!!!! He also is very near sighted (like me :3) and has glasses tho he doesnt wear them much but hes so cute in them!! he also physically glitches out like a computer when stressed or emotion or just. sometimes- and his eyes get covered by errors meanign he can't see at all, during that he liked to play one man blind cats cradle! he also if he gets too stressed or glitched he will literally crashed and have to reboot- he also has haphephobia (fear of touch) n does not like being touched a lot or without warning, it makes him all glitchy as well! hes also a massive hypocrite constantly and is genuinely just. insane- but in a silly way!!!! its also heavily implied that his puppets are. the dead souls of ppl from aus, minus his sans classic, he doesnt destroy classic (aka undertale) timelines bcs its the original! but he calls the rest abominations (like underfell is abomination #13). its heavily implied bcs he called the blue he kidnapped (thats still alive. for now-) abomination #11 ! he also talked to his puppets like they are other people although he voices them- he also uses portals in a way to show past events to show his memories(?)(they are his memories but he. doesnt remember them. if that makes sense.) ALSO WITH HIS STRINGS!! IF HE GRABS THE SOULS OF LIVING BEINGS (LIKE BLUE) HE CAN PUPPETEER THEM AND USE THEIR BODY AND MAGIC TO ATTACK! WHICH IS. TERRIFYING!! Hes also like. deathly afraid of Fresh n despises him with his whole soul

Oh yeah totally like the way I heard it was for MI3 and due to the MANY starts and restarts of the production (like, you'd think MI3 was made by Bioware it had so many restarts) that TC and Wagner DID initially have people on contract to return, but after a while it was kind of unfair to string them along when they didn't even have a script, and that lead to the New Team in MI3.

I love it. Hilarious. Thinking of how McQ and TC make movies really recontextualizes the fraught concept of autuer theory and gives me agida to think about BUT

Day One Hundred

One of my students won’t come to class because he’s struggling, but he’s struggling because he won’t come to class. This is a vicious cycle, and I- and so many other adults in the building- are trying to pull him out of it, but, so far, nothing we’re doing is working. I wish I could make him see that I’ve got other students in the same section of World who find it difficult- and, heck, maybe they find me difficult, too- but just by showing up, asking for help as needed, persevering even when they’re frustrated, etc... they’re going to be successful. And he can be to. 

It’s extremely frustrating that I haven’t been able to convince him of that.

Today I was teaching one of the more difficult lessons in the first unit, but one of the most engaging. It’s about migration, so I started by asking students about the impact it has on cultures- ie, people bring their culture with them when they move to new places, cultures interact and blend, sometimes there’s backlash to that- and asked them what they knew about their own immigrant ancestors. I’d guessed (correctly) that many of them had ancestors like mine who’d fled poverty, famine, conflict, etc... Segue to me explaining how many people fleeing those things today are quite young. 

We’d talked about Korea in previous classes, and that situation seemed to interest a lot of them, so I showed a Ted Talk by a woman who’d escaped North Korea and also gotten her family out. We discussed that for a bit, I got some great questions about asylum-seeking, legal vs illegal border crossings, etc... as well as questions about North Korea, specifically. After that, I had them read Warsan Shire’s “Home” to get another perspective on what it means to be an asylum-seeker. 

It’s that poem that makes the lesson difficult; it deals with very serious issues and it has some profane language, so it requires a certain level of maturity, which is not always a guarantee with ninth graders. A few of the boys in Block 2 tried to make jokes, so I responded with the classic, blank, “I don’t get it,” and they knocked it off. We discussed lines that were unclear, or lines that stood out, and I ended the lesson by saying we’d be doing some research tomorrow to learn more about what is being referenced in those lines. Students are learning that it’s my style to string lessons together very deliberately, and some of them have said they like how clear I am about it, so that’s a win. 

My APGOV students have a test on Wednesday, so they did some MCQ practice to identify which topics they need to review prior to it, and which ones they have down. After that, we discussed FRQs and I showed them how to write  concept application questions. We tackled one together, then I had them do one on their own. We’ll do the same with quantitative analysis and SCOTUS case comparison questions tomorrow; I’ll save argument for the next test. Some of my students find it very easy, some find it very difficult, and it led to a hilarious discussion about whether my class or calculus is harder.

It’s definitely calculus if you ask me. I have no idea how to do that. But, of course, some of my students find that as effortless as I find political stuff, so it’s about learning the tools and tricks to make the political stuff easier.

  “Everyone ready?” Template asked, joy filling his voice as much as his mood. Everything was going well so far, Template was still anxious and extremely worried something would go wrong- but he did his best to hide that fact.

  Template had decided for once to get the different Error’s together to celebrate their birthdays, true he didn’t know the actual date of each but since they were all branched off the same person -aside from Template, no way he was like him- it’d be okay to celebrate it together.

  Only five replied to the invite- but that was a start! He was completely different from everyone else and knew of their introversive and loner nature, so this was a good step forward. One did have a friend with him but he thought it was alright since no one complained of it yet.

  It was hard getting everyone into one multiverse, them deciding on Errored’s because he could get Nightmare to leave them alone- and on a plus side the star sanses couldn’t get to the void so they were safe from that. Even if Ink was his role model, he was unsure to how he’d react to seeing him or the different multiverse versions of Error.

  They had a hard time getting the void ready, it was going scary for the group of them to be in there because of their background so Template had set to work to make a meeting place of sorts. It had four rooms: a dining area, kitchen, living room, and bathroom. After that was done Template set to work going to each multiverse and picked up each of the sanses, only taking about 10 minutes to get everyone.

  In the invite, there was an idea of what they were going to do simple things like talk time, cake, presents; the usual for a birthday party. Talk time was mainly greetings and some backstory on each person's multiverse and then just relaxing until everyone was ready for cake. After that they would do a white elephant, it was a cool idea because instead of struggling to bring a gift for every other person there they could just bring one and have fun with it- and possibly get it in the end.

  “Alright, I’ll start.” Template informed, “I’m Template and in my multiverse I fight for the Aus against Pale. Errored, can you go next?” He pointed to original who was sitting on his right, slouching heavily.

  “Fine.” Errored sighed and sat up, “I’m the original version of all of you, I hate and Destroy Aus. You can call me Original or Errored, I honestly don’t care.” Errored summarized before going back to his comfortable sitting position in the armchair.

  Everyone looked to Originals right where Reboot shyly sat.

  “Um… I’m Reboot and I protect the Aus from Erazer- kinda like Template, I guess.” Another look to the right, they were already halfway through.

  “You can call me Strings and in my multiverse Dream runs a justice organization with Ink and I’m on the run with Nightmare and Cross- then Glitch joined us making 4 runaways.”

  “You can call me Glitch and my multiverse is a lot like originals but Ink’s more insane than good… and he did some bad stuff, I was there until something weird happened and I ended up in the same multiverse as Strings.”

  The last person, don’t go failing now.

  “Wait, we have a fucking kid here?” Original questioned. Sitting next to what looked to be an older asylumtale sans was a young child, not too young -only 9- but still.

  “Errored, language- sorry about this middle. I’m happy you were able to make it.” Template intervened, he understood he was younger, but he was still an Error and shouldn’t be stopped from coming just because of his age.

  “It’s fine.” He grumbled; Asylum let out a quiet “be nice” to the younger, “Okay… You can call me middle, I guess. Where I’m from Geno is my older brother and Fresh is my younger, Ink’s also my friend- and next to me is uncle Asy. He’s not really my uncle, me and my bros just call him that.”

  Everyone stared for a few minutes, processing Middle’s foreign multiverse.

  “That still doesn’t explain-” Errored started before being hastily cut off my Template.

  “Alright! Everyone’s done with introductions so you can walk around and talk until we’re all ready for cake!” Template anxiously but still enthusiastically rushed, everything was going good for now.

  Glitch and Strings were off talking, Original was having a chat with Middle(with Asy standing next to him) and Reboot was trying to make small talk with Template. Things were going great, although Reboot needed some help.

  “Say, Reboot, have you talked to Strings or Glitch yet? I’m sure you could get along with them, Strings is really nice and Glitch can be too.” Template persuaded, If they started to mix around it would make everything go a bit more smoothly- maybe even make some real friendships and do this again next year!

  “I-i haven’t yet-”

  “Great! Let me introduce you to them!” Template dragged Reboot with him over to the… couple?

  “Glitch- I swear! You make it sound so much more romantic than it was!” Strings flusteredly argued, apparent that he didn’t agree with his partner.

  “But it was!” Glitch retaliated, hugging Strings to his chest. Don’t most Error’s have haphephobia…? “I mean- sure you weren’t in the best situation and it was really angsty, but it was still fluffy and nice!” His convincing didn’t seem to work as Strings scoffed, turning his head away from this lover but not getting out of the embrace.

  Template cleared his throat causing the other two’s face to grow a bright blue blush. He gave a wave to the pair and pulled Reboot from behind him.

  “Hope I’m not intruding, I just wanted Reboot to meet you two, he’s shy so I thought him meeting you guys would help him.” He explained, Strings nodded, smiling and turning around in Glitch's grasp so he could face the other two.

  “Don’t worry about it, anyway… how’s it going Reboot?” Strings tried, hoping it’d be a good enough start. Template helped, now he could check on how the others were doing.

  Walking away he went over to Original, Middle, and Asy.

  Asy was mainly standing by listening -and making sure Errored wasn’t being a bad influence- while Middle was constantly asking questions, “How’s Geno?” “How do you control your strings so well” “What’s my future like?” general questions from someone who just met their older self.

  Errored calmly answered, blunt in each statement not caring how cold. He was the “God of destruction” he didn’t care if he was hurting some brat’s feelings, although he could feel Asy staring daggers at him.

  “How’s everything going?” Template enthusiastically asked

  “Great!” Middle replied back; sharing his enthusiasm, “I’m not happy with how bad Geno’s life is… but Errored is offering to teach me to knit! Maybe if I get good enough I could show and teach Ink!” Template looked up at Original, knitting?

  “You knit…? Wait, does that mean you can create too?!” There was a glimmer of hope

  “I make one every Au I destroy, I find the sans and fill the doll with his Dust- Honestly I’ve lost count of how many I’ve made.” And then the glimmer disappeared. Errored gave a crazy smile and Template stomach turned as he thought of it… It’s probably best they move on to cake and presents.

  The cake was of course completely chocolate, decked out with dark chocolate icing on the rectangle sides and in between the two layers while the rest of the cake was regular chocolate with a few strawberries here and there. No white chocolate in sight- by the Error’s (And Templates) standards, it wasn’t chocolate at all so what should it be doing in a chocolate cake?

  Everyone got a slice or two along with ice cream and a drink if they wanted one, non-alcoholic because firstly they had a kid there and secondly a room of destroyers drunk, how will that turn out?

  Once all were seated at the dining table they pulled out names from a hat, Template let Middle pick first, he was a kid after all.

  “Glitch!” Middle called out, the skeleton named grabbed one of the presents from the middle and opened it. It was obviously from Original as it was a small dinky but well-made doll with the complexion of UnderTale Sans, the true original.

  Another name got pulled out -this time by Reboot- and Middle got to pick one, It was from Strings. A well-knit scarf with a matching stitched Jacket, Glitch looked eager to take though- although he wanted to keep his own gift as well.

  Original pulled out a name, it being his own and grabs a random present -ignoring Glitch’s teasing of “Cheater”- and cringed at its contents as it was Art supplies. It was simply a few pencils, erasers, pens along with paints and a canvas, Template or Reboot’s do, although he could feel Asy staring daggers at him.ing- however, both looked eager to get them in the end.

   Glitch pulled out a name, this time Reboot who immediately stole the art supplies.

  “What now?” Errored asked, unsure of what he was supposed to do as he had never played white elephant.

  “You can pick another present from the middle or steal someone else’s, also we have a three-steal rule: after three people steal it, it’s safe and can’t be taken.” Template explained, Original huffed at this. Yay, more work.

  Not caring and generally being lazy he pulled over a medium bag and pulled the object out of it, it was a movie night set- bag of popcorn, candy and special cup put with a movie. Errored didn’t complain, chocolate was inside and now he had something to eat while he watched the different Aus. The movie was an old cartoony but still real life classic, Mary Poppins. Too bad he didn’t have a TV, at least he could steal one.

  “Alright, Glitch you can pull out the next name.” Template was eager, he was definitely going to steal those art supplies- it was only his and Strings left. And with that, two presents left, Middle’s and Reboot’s.

  Strings name was pulled, he grabbed one which ended up being from Middle. It was a bed set with a blanket, sheet, and pillows, all with the same space and stary constellation design. Finally, Template could go.

  Immediately taking away the art supplies Reboot sighed, this was going to turn into a chain of stealing. Reboot looked over to Glitch and took -what he thought- cute doll away, to which Glitch took the scarf and jacket. Now it was Middle’s turn, curiosity taking over, he opened Reboot’s to find baking supplies- everything needed to make a cake; a chocolate cake.

  Everyone was happy with what they got, they ate and made new friends and discoveries- They were likely to join again next year.
