my name's ananya, i'm 16 and i'm currently in the midst of my summer break before grade 11 starts. i live in india & aspire to study economics or business!

school

just completed igcse (my subjects were: first language english, international math, global perspectives, co-ordinated sciences, english literature, french, and art & design) last month! i will now do ib & graduate in 2021 😊

interests

i love love love to read & i write a little too! i have a YouTube channel but it has been a while since i made videos (i make travel vlogs). i like art a lot too!! i also play football & ultimate frisbee, i'm learning kathak right now (it's a north indian dance form) and prepping for sat 💞

what to expect from my blog

i will mostly reblog threads & posts that inspire me! i will also occasionally post my own pictures & attempt to make threads (maybe even printables!). except some art content and possibly some venting about stress! i'm hoping to make friends & interact w people & be more productive through this studyblr!

We have adopted a lil houseplant! I was out in town from 8am-5pm because no school and I have decided today is my day off because I have been working so hard lately! Finished Christmas shopping and I am in a pretty good mood! Hope studying is going well for all of you beauties!

19 november. I love Sunday when I wake up early while everyone sleeps. I usually prepare a good and healthy breakfast, turn on my macbook and start listen to music. This is my Sunday ritual before study, it makes me relaxed. Today I’m continuing my reading of the economics book. Tomorrow I think that I’ll start the “100 days of productivity challenge” of @emmastudies 👌🏼☺️

Just getting through some biology past paper questions on exchange surfaces. Its been quite a slow day today since I'm still drained from a party I went to yesterday but I'm just trudging through. Hopefully Monday will be somewhat more productive.

2018 to 2019 Goal

Since my new school year is going to start I decided that there were certain things that I wanted to achieve and to help me keep me accountable for these goals I decided to share them on here. I’ve set some long-term goal and some short-term goals that I hope to implement in my daily life. (I know there's quite a lot but I won’t start them all at the same time.)

Academics

🏆Have all my grades 90% or higher.

👣Read current notes every day before bed.

👣Finish homework on Friday or Saturday.

👣Use the Curve of Forgetting.

👣Designate 1 day every week for actual revision.

Health

🏆Lose 6kgs by June 2019.

👣Jog at least 30 mins every day.

👣No eating past 7 pm.

👣Reduce eating rice to 1 meal a day.

Studyblr/Booklr

🏆Consistently create and post my own content 4x a month.

👣Create new content every Saturday.

👣Post on Sundays.

Self-care

🏆Reduce stress and improve mood throughout the school year.

👣Journal when stressed.

👣Sunday evenings are reserved for some me time. 

👣Read every day, before bed or before school.

Organize/Cleanliness

🏆Maintan an organize and clean environment.

👣Fridays are for organizing school stuff and laundry

👣Satudays are for cleaning washrooms and cleaning and organizing my room.

I'm all caught up except a rough draft about prostitutes! I am so proud of myself, I have done so much these last few days and I am so glad I did. Now I can relax and breathe, thank goodness. But still more to do and more due dates upcoming so I'll keep ya posted! Thank you guys so much!
