Happy birthday to me! And happy start of postgrad to me. I’m working from the kitchen as my bf is in the office and I’m obsessed with the smell of the hyacinths and having the patio doors open to let the sun in. Lots of work to get going but for now I’m going to ignore it and enjoy becoming 25 on such a gorgeous day ☀️🎉

I just realized how incredibly long it’s been since I’ve made an original post. I just kept forgetting to take any pictures, lol.

Anyways, I last posted when I was halfway into my senior year of high school. Now I’m graduated and starting college at one of dream schools. I was originally waitlisted, but luckily managed to get accepted in the end. I’ve been here about a week, and am already absolutely loving it. Even tho I can tell chemistry is gonna be the death of me

July 28, 2020: How do you stay motivated to study during the summer?

lists! daily and weekly to-do lists have been helping me stay productive. i’ve also been going to bed around 11:00/11:30 so i won’t sleep late. being able to wake up early helps me feel more productive.

Hey all, so I'm back?

I had an exam two days ago and needless to say I bombed it ( in a bad way ). I was super sad and I still am which gave rise to a fear in me that I might not get into any uni I wanna be considering the streak of low scores. My anxiety didn't help the situation and I kept on having breakdowns.

But finally I talked to my friends and they gave me hope that I can still make it. I'm not sure if I can but I will try my best.

Thankyou @coffeecodeblr @almost-rory-gilmore for being there.

I decided to take a few break days and went to my farmhouse, met my dogs and did a bit of swimming ( it was kind of like self care because all this stuff makes me happy ). I can't say I'm happy now per se but I'm hopeful.

Now I'm gonna make a new study schedule from scratch and see if I can make things work.

I guess this post is just to tell everyone that maybe sometimes thinks don't work out, but then we as humans are stubborn little beings who still don't give up. So if you're going through a tough patch and thinking that you might not make it, just know that you have people around you, me around you if you wanna talk. And that you CAN make it.

I have this blog for almost a year, but I basically have been only stalking my favorite blogs. This year, though, I actually decided to try to get involved, since I loved this community so much!

One of the main reasons I created this blog was that, even though I usually enjoy studying, I tend to procrastinate and being here has been an inspiration to focus on my tasks.

The other main reason is that I want to meet new people and, hopefully, make new friends to talk to and share experiences with!

Hobbies/interests

I love reading and I am currently reading Anna Karenina by Liev Tolstoi! I don’t have a preferred genre, but my favorite books are the ones with strong and determined main characters and unexpected endings.

Recently I’ve been getting a lot into tv shows, also. I’m currently watching Gilmore Girls after seeing it so much on my dashboard and I’m loving it.

Taking random online courses just to forget everything one week later

Current goals

For this studyblr I want to start making my own posts and have more actual study content in it, since I’ve mostly been only reblogging pictures.

I just started bullet journaling and this year I want to experiment a bit with it, and maybe post some pictures here.

I also want to start learning another foreign language! (probably what I’m most excited about)

Diploma day 2 - I’m officially overwhelmed with how much work we need to do. What better way to spend my lunch break than to go for a gorgeous sunny walk and hide from the realities of uni 🌸

Coffee and pancakes that I made for breakfast the other day. I’m back from camp (had the absolute best time of my life, watch me NEVER shut up about it), and I’m shattered. I also went out until 3am for a leaving do this weekend so I’m doubly tired. I promise I will catch up with peoples messages soon but for now, I’m catching up on ALL the sleep and enjoying my bed instead of a tent.

Note to self, never make notes from your laptop in the car because the notes will be so illegible that you’ll have no idea what they say. On the plus side, messy notes were worth it for this beautiful river walk and the first pub of the year.

I’m on call this weekend (24 hours in and I’ve had one call- I really don’t want to jinx it but I would like to say that this good luck is 100% due to mcr releasing new music. Nothing has been bad since that happened) so I had a costa and a doughnut at work this morning and now I’m back home writing a reflection on watching a nurse give someone gentamicin. It was actually really interesting - I don’t tend to consider admin of IV drugs, so it was great to see. My take home message is to oral switch everyone ASAP to save nurses time - not sure that’s what I’m meant to take from it but here we are 🤷🏼‍♀️
