It's been a while.

I'm not even sure where to begin, it's been over 3 months since I've written anything down here.  The state I find myself in is interesting to say the least.  It's summer in Minnesota, pretty much the reason I put up with the 8 odd months of winter every year.  I coached a full Track season as the co-distance coach for Eagan HS.  That was pretty fun, although I was quite busy with everything else.  I'm running a lot of responsible miles right now, not over doing anything while running a consistent 40-50 miles per week.  I'm getting my very own running coach soon, he's pretty good - he ran for Stanford and professionally.  My miles per week are sure to go up with him guiding me.  

I'm in extremely good shape, thanks to the fitness studio that I run.  Yeah, that's the biggest of all - I'm the GM of my very own fitness studio, like top dog, all employees and trainers and sales and accounting in my hands.  I'm 2 months in to this job and I love it.  I turned down a more lucrative job at Lifetime Fitness corporate for this, because I'm not ready for a corporate world.  How I went from working with kids to the fitness industry is beyond me, but it seems so natural - this is where I belong.  

This is the first time any computer that I own has been on the internet in 3 months.  Living cheaply in a downtown Minneapolis apartment will do that to you - plus, smart phones can do all that fun stuff.  It's not like I can't blog, my studio does have internet and my office has a computer.  Interestingly I both missed and didn't miss tumblr.  I'm not sure how to explain that one - but it's exactly how I feel about it.  

I listen to a lot of deadmau5, bassnectar, and nero now.  They all attacked me like country music did on long drives from Oregon to Minnesota.  WubWubWub I guess!

Ladies in my life aren't scarce, but for the most part I'm ignoring them.  I've got too much else going on to honestly even pay attention to advances from the opposite sex.  I've dated a few girls this year, but they all more or less fizzled out within a month.  I know what I want and I don't want to waste my time.  Lot of double v's in that last sentence!  I'm into me right now (couldn't you tell??), everything else just falls into the rearview.  

Why am I writing all this down?  It helps my stream of consciousness to get this all out.  That's the simple answer.  I'm not sure if I'll be particularly active on here, not like I used to be, but I'll pop in from time to time to write things down.  So, I hope my 14 followers have enjoyed my ramblings.  Go Life!
