hi this is one of those times where i Personal Post. very anxious about starting grad school because idk what will happen!!! i still don’t how ill be expected to dress or act. even though im staying at my alma mater (a party school. where i went out to the bars/parties four nights a week for the last two years of undergrad & barely scraped by with B’s), literally everything about how i live my life in this town is going to change. and alongside all that i have crazy imposter syndrome bc how did *i* (habitual partier, grunge dirtbag, south park enjoyer, chronic procrastinator/half-asser) manage to get a full ride + stipend !!!! orientation is three weeks from friday and i am nerving out. etc etc etc

the absolutely devastating realisation that a) i can choose between two degrees next year: an easy, short term one that would allow me to travel for work and an extremely hard, slightly more long term one that will probably kill me; and b) i’m going to choose the latter because every time i think of the former i can see myself feeling disappointed in 10 years when i’m completely unfulfilled and wondering why the hell i didnt suck it up and do the latter. 

and what’s more is im absolutely going to regret the latter one as well but just not as much probably.
