ill be real this is kinda what i feared would happen with the constant child imagery being brought up when talking about "saving" villains
it feels as if by the end horikoshi turns to the audience and says "all of these hurt people who were shunned by society had to die. there was no way for them to live on. but dont worry! some abused kids might get saved now!" and it rings so hollow. what about adult villains still out there? if anything, the previous chapter gave me the impression that heroes are only going to get tougher on crime now. it feels like bnha is saying that if you dont get saved as a child you are a lost cause and it sucks especially with toga. because she was a child still. she was 17 when she died. but apparently thats too old for horikoshi to imagine her having a life worth saving.

that’s how it went right
[Image ID: Three-panel comic about Dragon Age 2. The first panel shows Anders and Hawke, who is depicted as a brown man with long black hair tied into a ponytail and wearing a red cape. Anders is angrily gesturing with his hands and finishing up a speech with "...Andraste's words that magic should not rule over man. It is not ruling to simply wish for the same rights as any man!". In the second panel, Hawke lays a hand on his shoulder with a sympathetic look and says "So true bestie." to which Anders looks dumbfounded. In the third panel, only Anders is depicted in all grey and a blush on his face as he stares at the floor in disbelief. Behind him, google searches are depicted that each say: "where to but engagement rings in kirkwall", "spells to make your ass fatter", "average fereldan dick size", "how to find out if your crush likes men", "fereldan courting rituals", "marriage certificates for fugitives" and "deepthroat tutorial". ./ End ID]

Nothing pisses me off more than sheith and endhawks being labelled "proships" by some people
Both of these pairings consist of two, unrelated, consenting, adults

I think Isabela being gone makes Merrill's loneliness in act 3 even sadder.
By act 3, you can already see how isloated she feels, how much she misses being with her people and part of a clan. But then to have her best friend run away on top of that?
Isabela is objectively the kindest and most understanding to Merrill out of the entire kirkwall gang. Having her be gone during Merrill's lowest point is just. So sad.
