i know someone previously sent an ask warning about this person, but seeing as their posts are getting more and more popular within the fandom i wanted to send another reminder. i know this is a blog for silly discourse and takes, but i wanted to send this where a big portion of the fandom would see it. (for mod courtney: if you feel like this is too heavy to be posted or you just dont wanna post it for any reason that's fine! i understand why you wouldn't want something like this on the blog.)

TRIGGER WARNING FOR suggestive content pedophila and racism @/ scepterno (also known as sugarandmemories or metrix-86) is a proshipper, shotacon, and has a habit of whitewashing and drawing racist art. they were previously in the total drama fandom i believe around 7 years ago? but they've made a comeback and have made a lot of ale/noah art and a fic which has gotten them some popularity but a lot of people don't know about the really shitty things they've done.

they tend to whitewash noah a LOT in their art. you can try to excuse it by saying they just put a filter over their art or something but the fact its been multiple times is worrying. their older art of cameron is EXTREMELY racist, it was a few years ago but ANYONE should know better than to draw a black person like that.

they also sexualize children a lot in their art. they have pages of fanart for a rwby character who is 14 years old, drawing him in suggestive clothing and posing, and shipping him with an adult. i don't know anything about rwby so i can't say much besides that, but it's very disgusting knowing they're a grown adult and draw children like that. they have drawn fanart of other fandoms, shipping a child character from it with adults as well. their weird obsession with sexualizing CHILDREN is disgusting.

idk if you’re still mutuals with them but I thought I’d check just in case. Sugarandmemories/ scepterno has been drawing a lot of suggestive material abt underage characters, both alone in suggestive poses and also in romantic circumstances w adult characters. They’re also like, incredibly unapologetic about it. I quote they’re “pro-ship”. They’ve worked in Carmen Sandiego which makes me especially nervous since ik they’ve been obsessed with Player. Idk I know you’re a good person with strong morals relating to activism and I just thought you’d want to distance yourself from this person.

No i am FULLY aware of the shit Nick is into and I have unfollowed him everywhere. I keep track of his new users so I can avoid him and I no longer interact with him.

I unfortunately was aquitances with him and had a few convos and interactions with him since I really looked up to his art, but as soon as I found out about his underage nsfw and his blatant disregard for minors’ wellbeing online, I unfollowed and made sure to tell other people as well. Im honestly sickened by the fact that I wanted to be his friend and hoped that he would interact with my art and also that he still works on one of my favorite shows (Carmen Sandiego), and its honestly one of the reasons I havent drawn much for CS despite keeping up with it. He’s literally the reason why I figured out my trauma with internet culture runs much deeper than I thought, and also why im trying to be more openly against this type of behavior and ideology online (pro-shipping).

If anyone wants some info on what Nicks done and continues to do, you can find posts in the scepterno/ sugarandmemories tag on tumblr or metrix-420 on instagram. Please keep in mind a lot of it is disgusting and involves a LOT of problematic art and language.

Long time, no post!! (I should really get back to posting my art in here, I really got some good stuff done and still cooking lol)

So me and @sugarandmemories did some sort of collab (he sugggested it and I was like yEs by all means) where I basically explain and show of what I do when it comes to posing layout to the best of my knowledge!!

My “process” and/or experience in doing layout as a key posing artist on the show! (yes he and I are amongst the many who worked on the upcoming third season uwu)  The image above was from him, and said specifically to go ham as I usually do lmFAO--

Though I must reiterate one thing: NONE of this is related to anything canon or whatever, Nick and I merely just wanted to showcase what are the steps in bringing this show to life.

hey i just realized recently (like literally just now) that metrix-86/sugarandmemories hosted a spongebob musical zine i contributed to about 2 years ago. i had no idea at the time about some of the fucked up stuff theyve posted (not just the hl// v/////rai stuff but apparently they have a history of explicit content a lot of people are super uncomfortable with) when i was a part of that project, but i wanna be clear that i dont condone the work they do and im not comfortable with it myself. im gonna work harder to triple check who im working on zines and projects with moving forward and im definitely not gonna work with them in the future.

i also wanna let yall know that if theres ever anything that makes you uncomfortable about my art or the things i post or the people im working with you are absolutely free to start a dialogue with me. generally my stuff should be pretty safe for the tumblr audience but im welcome to hear people out yknow.

You hear ticking. Its faint. But you hear it. He’d originally thought it was just the big wooden wall clock he owned— but that thing hadn’t worked in YEARS, the wood splintered and broken from a run-in with a couple of crooks a year or so ago where he’d missed, and absolutely SHATTERED the poor thing. Any tick from the old clock might as well have been a broken wheeze. 

So where was that noise coming from?

As he searched throughout his humble little abode, he quickly found the source by the fireplace. He could only GUESS as to what it could be—

He peeked into the stocking, plucking a small little card attached to a slightly bigger present, adorned with… purple and green jack-o-laterns. 

“Hey, it’s not Halloween, it’s—” He began, but quickly realized his mistake as he dropped the card back into the stocking.

i havent been active in years and i dont plan to be. however, i have to say this: sugarandmemories (now metrix-86), who at the time (i was 15 and recalling his lps art from when i was 12 when i interacted with him on here) i did not know this about, is an incest shipper and pedophile who supports (supported? iunno) hotdiggetydemon and is a “pro shipper”. according to deleted callouts i read at the time they were still up, hes also a massive lesbophobe/trans fetishizer, but i cant get that info now as the callouts were deleted. I didn’t delete his stuff at the time because I figured no one rlly interacts w this blog anymore, but it’s really starting to hit me the wrong way that someone i thought was cool when i was young is actually really gross and i was totally unaware. Not to mention I dont want to support that. At all. I’m planning on deleting all his content from here, as i don’t want to support him like this at all. I’m kind of busy though, so that might be a bit. I have read he has a tendency to screenshot this kinda shit, but I just want to tell everyone or anyone who cares that I dont support it at all & tell them not to support him. I was completely unaware of this shit and ive decided 2 say smth about it <3 so yeah

There’s some bitch on instagram who’s been stealing @sugarandmemories ‘s art by slapping their name over it. Not only that they clearly call their “own art” r-slurs and encouraged their following to accuse the original artist of stealing their art.

This is NOIRHAM for fuck’s sake? How can you stoop so fucking low to steal art of a jokeship and then let people crap all over it for funsies? How fucking low can you go?
