๑ Characters: Tomohito Sugino (Assassination Classroom)
๑ Quick Note: Hello, darling! Thank you so much for requesting this! I had a bunch of fun writing this, sorry if it’s a bit long or not 100% like the request, but I feel like I got the major stuff. I really hope you like it!
๑ Warnings: None, really. Just fairly angsty, though, as always, there’s hurt/comfort vibes and a happy ending. :)
๑ Word Count: 3,562
(Y/N) (L/N) considered herself to be at the top of the world.
They were exactly where they were supposed to be so far in her life, getting exactly what they wanted and what they aimed for from how much work they put in. (Y/N) may have been one step down from the very top, but they were more than willing to take the place they earned. They were the top girl in the entirety of Kunugigaoka Junior High and there was nothing more satisfying than knowing that, aside from her place on the student council, but even that wasn’t quite the same. High grades came with high status, and in a school as ruthless as this one, she loved nothing more than knowing that the fruits of her own labor were what were keeping her safe.
Granted, it was lonely at the top. No one really liked anyone at Kunugigaoka for the most part. Sure, there were friendships, but all of them seemed either fake or hanging on by a thread. The admiration of others like her or the principal’s son wasn’t all that real, either. That admiration became jealousy and envy in seconds. People were willing to do virtually anything and use almost anyone to keep their grades up. Anything to avoid getting transferred to 3-E, that is. You were doomed if you managed to drop down to the “End Class,” no one had ever heard a story of someone being sent there coming back. It was like a story made up to keep everyone in line, only it wasn’t a story. It was very, painfully real and the stories served their purpose.
(Y/N) had once had friends with her. She still did to an extent, but it wasn’t the same. Or, at least, they didn’t think it was. There was her cousin, Maehara, and Sugino, her best friend. They were thick as thieves, though, E Class brought separation, putting up a barrier between herself and the boys. The barriers were different for each boy, though.
Maehara was family, close family at that. He was (Y/N)’s first and best friend in the universe. The added bonus of sharing blood, however, was what kept them close. The two had to attend family gatherings, meaning that even if their academic endeavors kept them apart, their personal lives weren’t going to get in their way, either.
Sugino, however, was a friend. A friend without any family ties or any true reason to seek (Y/N) out, or at least, that’s what he had thought. (Y/N) left things fairly open when Sugino had to switch classes, completely putting her reputation on the line for him. They had always sent soft smiles and friendly winks his way when they passed each other on campus, but they never got any sort of response or reaction. It just created shame and embarrassment on both of their ends.
After a month or two, (Y/N) worked to make herself move on. They couldn’t forget him entirely, nor would she let herself, but they also acknowledged all of the variables that came with Sugino’s new situation. His world was essentially being turned upside down. Everything he had and had known before being shipped up the mountain was being taken away from him and changed. (Y/N) couldn’t even begin to understand what he was going through, and honestly, she didn’t want to. At this point, (Y/N) just wished things could go back to how they were. They missed their best friend, and they missed not feeling hurt by him.
It was only a matter of time until the universe pushed the two back together, though.
Despite being one of the best students and having absolutely nothing to worry about, (Y/N)’s stomach and heart dropped, they were called to the principal's office. (Y/N) wasn’t sure if there ever was or would be a point in time where the man didn’t scare her, but that was the least of her concerns at that moment. They could have been asked anything in that office. They could have been told anything in that office. Anything could have happened, and the worst part was that it likely couldn’t have been something she could share. Even if they wanted to, or it  was deemed that it was something they could share in the first place, but wasn’t sure they’d even have it in themself to. Even though Principal Asano paraded himself as some kind of borderline neutral and caring man, everyone knew that he was the exact opposite.
“You wanted to see me, sir?” (Y/N) fought the shake in their voice, but it wasn’t quite enough to get rid of it. She may have closed herself off after Sugino and Maehara left, but the man’s intimidation factor was something that couldn’t be ignored. It was all too intense and the dark appearance and atmosphere of the room did nothing to calm her nerves.
“I did.” His deep voice sounded almost cheerful, more than (Y/N) would have liked to hear. She would have preferred his rumbling monotone over this. “I have been doing some thinking recently and as it turns out, you’re the only one I can think of to handle this job.”
(Y/N) stared at the man in front of them curiously. They weren’t sure what he wanted, and they didn’t like that. The worst part, however, is that (Y/N) knew she wouldn’t have much of a choice. “Oh yeah?”
“Yes. I believe Class 3-E needs a bit of extra help.” (Y/N)’s stomach began to twist. “Unfortunately, I need my son to stay where he is, but you,” he paused, peering up at her from his desk, “you are a bit more flexible in regards to things like this. You help people all the time after all.”
(Y/N) felt herself swallow heavily. There were so many possibilities of what could happen that they felt like they might not be able to cope. Sure, Maehara was there, but that seemed to be the only bright side. (Y/N) knew going up the mountain would be rough, and she wished she could find even the slightest bit of wiggle room to decline his so-called offer.
Asano, however, did not appreciate (Y/N)’s silence. He hated the obvious hesitance to answer even more. For someone in her position, (Y/N) seemed to have more resolve than he expected; others would have already given in with panicked compliance. He had noticed (Y/N)’s change over time, however, it made her the way she appeared; unmoving and closed off. Then he thought of his best bargaining chips. “You know people there, correct?”
“Almost everyone.” (Y/N) replied, not answering with what he wanted to hear on purpose. “I fear that not everyone would appreciate my presence, no matter how nice I am, though.” It was the truth and (Y/N) felt it needed to be said. It was a genuine concern and (Y/N) didn’t want to overstep; they would have every right to not like her and (Y/N) would never be able to blame them.
“I’m sure that’s not true. You have family in the E class. A cousin, correct?”
“Yes, sir.” (Y/N) knew at this moment that he had officially backed them into the farthest corner he could.
“I’m sure he’ll love to see you.” His words were final; there was no getting out of this. “Now, there are a few things that will make this arrangement different.”
(Y/N) ignored the memory that wouldn’t leave them alone in the last few days. They hated that they let themself  be cornered that way and hated that they weren't too surprised even more. Kunugigaoka was corrupt and heavily classist, they knew that, but it was still wild to them. That was the environment they were growing up in, and because of the principal, it was arguably getting worse.
There were multiple things that (Y/N) had to face that morning that they weren’t ready for. All issues varied in their severity, but (Y/N) viewed all of them as something to worry about. Once (Y/N) thought of them, however, they noticed that their priorities may have been a bit skewed.
The strangest part that (Y/N) had to worry about was the main teacher of Class 3-E. The teacher, who was named Koro-Sensei by his students, was actually an alien. Not only that, but an alien that destroyed most of the moon and planned on doing the same to Earth. As much as (Y/N) wanted to ignore it, the gun and knife tucked into the waistband of their skirt and meeting a government agent absolutely destroyed that option.
There was also the class itself. (Y/N) once knew all of them and was even on good terms with almost all of them, but things definitely change once you’re booted off the main campus. (Y/N) was sure that no matter how nice she made sure to be to them that they wouldn’t accept any of it. She was considered top tier while they were nothing as soon as they got transferred. (Y/N) knew she couldn’t blame any of them for how they might feel or react to her.
Then, of course, there was Sugino. In (Y/N)’s mind, Sugino was the scariest thing about that day and their foreseeable future. Would he be even a little happy to see them? Would he talk to them at all now that (Y/N) was in his territory? It seemed dumb to (Y/N) that this was what got to them the most, but it was what it was. They had been inseparable, and now things were different, so wildly different. (Y/N) didn’t think she was ready.
(Y/N) let out a breath as they stood in front of the door to 3-E. She wasn’t sure if it was something that had been held in because of nerves or the trek up the mountain, but it helped remind them to breathe. They rolled her shoulders back and took another deep breath. (Y/N) could do this. If they could talk shit to the principal’s son’s face, they could face their old classmates and friends.
They knocked on the door, waiting for the ‘come in’ before moving. Carefully closing the door behind them, they quickly glanced between their peers and the being in front of them. Bewildered by the teacher didn’t even truly begin to describe what (Y/N) thought, but they decided it was a good start as they continued to stand awkwardly by the door, purposefully ignoring all of the eyes on them. There were only two people (Y/N) felt they could look in the eye and they were Maehara and Nagisa Shiota, a boy who they swore didn’t have a mean bone in his body and reciprocated (Y/N)’s kindness. The fact that (Y/N) felt like they couldn’t look at Sugino definitely didn’t get past them, but they were absolutely going to force themself to forget it for the time being.
“Ah! You must be Miss (L/N)! Welcome!” The alien enthusiastically greeted. It was almost overwhelming if (Y/N) was being honest.
“Uh, yes, hello.” (Y/N) felt bad about their feeble response, but that was all they could seem to say. Honestly, (Y/N) knew the experience was going to be something else, especially as time past and (Y/N) closed themself off to the world. Everyone in the building probably saw her as two-faced, they were sure of it. “Truth be told, I’m not sure why I’m here.” At this point, (Y/N) figured being honest was the best and only way to go about things. “I know it had something to do with being a tutor or student teacher or something, but I saw your guy’s test scores, none of you really have anything to worry about.”
“You’re probably here to help off him more than anything, (N/N).” Maehara laughed. “He doubts us so much.” He trailed off sarcastically.
(Y/N) was grateful for it; they felt like it took some of the pressure off of them. “Right. I mean, nothing was said about spy work or whatever, so I guess it could be literally anything else.” (Y/N) tried joking along, though they knew it didn’t land as well as they would have wanted.
“Right, well, it likely was for the assassination, so good luck! I’m Koro-Sensei and I wish you luck in killing me!” Koro-Sensei’s face changed and (Y/N) felt their stomach drop in dread.
---
A few days had passed and things were going as smoothly as they could in the End Class. (Y/N) was definitely feeling the pressures that came with the new environment and couldn’t help but mentally commend everyone for how well they all seemed to keep up with everything. (Y/N) was admittedly rather shocked, though. Everyone seemed to warm up to her again, despite the clear change in her exterior. No one knew how the change came about, but they didn’t question it much, other than Karma who took a fair amount of joy in poking at (Y/N) every chance he got.
That being said, not everyone really interacted with (Y/N) if they didn’t have to, and she was more than okay with it. It did hurt, however, that Sugino was one of those people. (Y/N) wasn’t sure whether they were shocked or not, but it still left them with a weird sense of being hurt, despite how it was presented as indifference. That was their best friend, someone they considered to be their soulmate, platonic or otherwise, and now he wouldn’t even spare her a glance.
(Y/N) was torn between wanting to move on and wanting to fight. They knew that Sugino was the only one who could truly change his mind, but (Y/N) still held hope that their bond could be repaired. That hope only grew as time went on and (Y/N) spent more time in 3-E with everyone. (Y/N) felt as though they could feel that Sugino still felt something towards her and hoped that it was something positive, or at least neutral enough to talk to her a bit more than when he needed to.
To outsiders, (Y/N) could understand how some of it may have seen it as somewhat ridiculous or weird that she was still holding onto something like this, however, there were things that no one else knew about the situation. Funnily enough, that just so happened to be the majority of the details. The details, truly, were as clear as day if someone were to think about it for a moment, however, (Y/N) supposed it was the fault of anyone who misunderstood, not hers, and definitely not Sugino’s.
Whether anyone thought about it or not, Sugino’s transfer really wasn’t all that long ago. Just long enough for their mutual dread to set in and become part of their routines. It was a shame how quickly everything came about, but there was nothing either of them could have done about it. Neither of them were sure where they stood with the other.
Another seemingly obvious detail is that the two never said anything to the other about the situation. Not obviously, anyways. The news of someone going to the E Class had always been something that spread like a wildfire. Even though Sugino didn’t say it, he didn’t need to and (Y/N) only had words of comfort to offer. Sugino hadn’t wanted to hear it, though. He stormed away and (Y/N) was so shocked they couldn’t calm their mind enough to consider any of the possibly things he must have been feeling.
It was all a fiasco. There were other details, but they were far more miniscule compared to the others. After thinking about it, (Y/N) knew there were things that they were missing, things that they were sure that only Sugino was really aware of. He was the other half of this, after all. Much like how (Y/N) didn’t know what was going on in his mind, Sugino didn’t know what was going on in (Y/N)’s, and they weren’t even sure Sugino would ever want to know.
That Thursday afternoon, however, things were going to change. Much like when (Y/N) was called into Asano’s office, their world was going to shift once again, and drastically.
(Y/N) had assumed that if Tomohito Sugino were ever going to speak to them, it would be because Koro-Sensei needed him to, or because Maehara forced him to. When (Y/N) saw Sugino storming up to them like a man on a mission, they were sure that Maehara was behind whatever was about to come their way. Regardless, they weren’t going to take this opportunity for granted.
“Uh, (Y/N)?” His voice was hesitant, yet strict with nerves. The small, petty part of (Y/N) wanted to ignore him or seem uninterested, but it wasn't as simple as that. Mainly because (Y/N) couldn’t hide their interest, even though they wanted to.
“Hey, Sugino. What’s up?”
“Not much.” He answered stiffly. “I was just wondering if we could talk for a minute?” (Y/N) nodded at the boy and followed him to a quieter place where the two could talk.
(Y/N) wasn’t sure whether Sugino genuinely wanted to talk or he would have rather been anywhere else. It seemed almost as though Sugino were fighting himself; like he wasn’t fully allowed to embrace the fact that since they had become slightly reacquainted with each other, he had become more comfortable around them. Their situation seemed to get weirder and weirder every time (Y/N) thought about it, making her head spin.
“So… It’s been a minute since we’ve spoken.” Sugino awkwardly started, trailing off and not daring to look (Y/N) in the eye.
“Yeah, it has. I mean, you kinda ran off and never even looked at me afterward.” The hurt and slight bit of spite was obvious in their voice. She couldn’t help it; their issues were finally being addressed, and even though (Y/N) was going to be polite enough about her feelings and take any of his into account, she still wanted Sugino to be aware of how badly they were hurt because of his lack of communication. “I’m more than willing to hear you out, but I also hope you know that what you did hurt.”
Sugino nodded his head, finally looking at them. “Of course! And- And I didn’t mean for it to happen that way, really.” There was a brief pause before he continued. “When I got the news and when the word got around and stuff, uh, I was honestly kind of a wreck, but it didn’t really hit until later in the day when I saw you. I know that sounds bad, but like, it wasn’t your fault.”
(Y/N) almost wanted to laugh, to reach a comforting hand out onto his shoulder. Despite their time apart, it almost felt like nothing had changed. (Y/N) still felt the immediate need to show him their support, to make sure that he knew he still had someone unconditionally in his corner. Just sitting there and listening to what he had to say made it feel like any pain that was there didn’t exist, as though it had never been caused in the first place.
“I just- It was dawning on me how my life was ruined, and it bothered me that people spread it around so quickly and so easily. My life was officially over, and all of our classmates and so-called friends were just laughing about it!” He exclaimed. “I was so scared and so ashamed that I felt like I couldn’t face you. I guess, I was just scared that you were going to reject me.” He quieted himself down, letting his fists clench tightly.
(Y/N) finally broke, resting their hand on top of the closer of his hands. “Sugino, I’m so sorry.”
“I know it’s dumb. You just mean so much to me that I was scared that you wouldn’t want anything to do with me. I completely messed our relationship up, and I’m sorry. You mean a lot to me, (Y/N); that’s never changed and never will.”
A deep frown settled itself on both of their faces, their fingers now intertwined. The silence was heavy and thoughtful. Neither of them wanted the moment to end, however, they both wished for better circumstances. That being said, they were together and it felt like old times. By that logic, they were on good terms once again, at least to some degree.
“You’re dumb, Sugino.” (Y/N) laughed and gently bumped shoulders with the boy next to them, pulling a laugh from him too.
“So are you, (Y/N).” He answered back, finally letting a small smile rest on his lips. “Wanna go catch up over food?” Sugino sheepishly offered.
(Y/N) laughed, completely unsurprised. “Sure.” She laughed, pushing herself off the ground. They dusted themself off and held out a hand towards Sugino to pull him up, not letting go of his hand. “Let’s go.”

Karma Akabane x Reader
Fluff, Gender non specified, absolute idiots
He so easily teased Kayano for being too shy to confess to Nagisa but when it came to you Karma was just as lame, that fact soon became obvious to everyone in E-class except for you.
It was almost painful to watch him try flirting? (If you can even call it that, what is he 50??)
He had tried everything, at this point he could tattoo the words “I LIKE Y/N” on his forehead and you still wouldn’t realize
Korosensei would cry himself to sleep sometimes after writing angst novels (not important thought I’d say it anyways LMFAO)
Rio would try to help you (TRY)
“you know I think someone likes you, someone really close to you”
she says as karma is quite literally sitting right next to you
“huh? do you mean Sugino? we’re good friends but he has more chemistry with a baseball.”
Hell even Terasaka felt bad,
And with that Class 3E commenced project: “De-Karasuma y/n”
Nagisa being the Amazing friend he is took note of all your weak points when it came to eachother
— like how you;
start playing with random objects when you get nervous around him (ex. pencils, bracelets)
and how karma;
offers you materials before class incase you need anything (ex. pencil/homework answers)
or how he has blackmail folders on anyone whose ever asked you out (or plans to)
the list goes on ‘till #32, shocker.
Why do they even need this type of info? Well it’s all apart of the plan, a little embarrassment wouldn’t kill you two!
…and it would save you from whatever you had going on.
Mimura would Film you both doing those un cautious habits over the next few days
he put his directing and stealth skills to the test, he couldn’t afford getting caught by karma because he doesn’t feel like dying.
Hinano would play wingmaster, getting you both to walk with her just to ditch you guys after like 5 minutes.
Korosensei—wanting some kind of purpose— decides to “help out” by giving you both after school detention for the smallest things, that way you both have to clean the classroom, together!
(What the fuck)
All while Mimuras QuackMart 4K camera captures it
They then create a very mediocrely edited project titled “why you should shut up and date already”
yes it’s humiliating for you both, yes it works..
you win some ‘n loose some, but it’s okay because now you’re losers together? I think.

karma akabane x abused!reader
tw// abuse, insecurities, eating, crying, teasing.
please let me know if i missed anything important
not proofread
No matter how hard Y/n tried. Karma always seems to beat her to it. Got 100% on a test? Karma got 105%. Not only did he overlap y/n, he would boast about it too.
“Aww is widdle y/n sad she didn’t win” he says in a mocking tone, seeing as the former girl is sulking looking at her placement right under Karma’s name.
“Shut up Akabane-kun” She stomps away to her desk and go back to studying. Everyone knew how hardworking Y/n gets when she wants something. She wasn’t a snob who only cares about herself, when Sugino told her about his plan to kill Korosensei, she fully encouraged him and helped him to make it better. When Terasaka was struggling with all subjects, she offered to help and went slow making sure he knew everything before moving on. On Valentine’s Day, she made everyone their favorite chocolates. Despite how long it took.
Let’s just say, everyone loved y/n. Even Karma, he loved teasing her. Her studying session was interrupted when Hayami called out to her. She invited the studious girl to eat lunch with her and Chiba. Y/n didn’t realize how hungry she was till her belly loudly rumbled making everyone in the class chuckle. She agrees and packs her books quickly. Grabbing her bento, she makes her way to Chiba and Hayami’s pushed together desk.
The h/c girl was halfway through her bento till a remark stopped her movements.
“Don’t you think you ate a little too much?” Karma’s voice was heard by the whole class. “I mean, no offense but like, don’t you think you’re growing too fast? And not in the good way.” He says poking her cheeks filled with food.
“Oi Kar-” Terasaka stopped when he saw something, heartbreaking. Y/n, the class’ heart, trembling as if she was forcing herself not to cry. Packing up her left over food and quietly puts it on top of her desk. With know words said, she walks out avoiding eye contact with everyone.
“Tch I was just joking”
“Shut the fuck up karma, seriously.” Chiba said, the words everyone wanted to say coming out. The sniper quickly follows after y/n, hoping to catch up. Terasaka quickly steps up to Karma and throws a punch. The other boys stepping in between the two. Karma breaks out of his classmates grip and walks out, rubbing his bruising jaw.
Walking thru the hallways he saw something he hated so much. Y/n and Chiba in a soft embrace as she cries into his shoulder and he strokes her hair. He didn’t know why he was feeling this way. Was it guilt? Jealousy? He didn’t fucking know, but he knew he hated it.
The next day, the class knew things were going to be different. They wanted y/n to be back to her happy and go lucky self. Hinata was excited to tell her about the new episode of their favorite anime. Nagisa wanted insight of his plan to kill korosensei. Isogai wanted to invite her to the cafe to try their new dessert. As she walked in, the atmosphere flipped completely. Y/n usually walks in ready to converse, but all she did was walk in with her head down and laid it on her desk. Visible eye bags and signs of tiredness was presented on herself.
She stayed up studying for the math test they were said to have today and didn’t get enough sleep. They decided to let the girl sleep in till class starts, seeing that she needs the rest. As they went back to doing their own things. A loud bang followed by a squeak was heard. The class saw Karma’s hand on Y/n’s desk.
“Oi don’t sleep in class, that’s why you always get second.” The red head says, expecting her to comeback with another one of her sassy remarks. His eyes widened when she apologized and pulled out her books to start studying from where she left off last night. Everyone was now glaring at Karma for waking her up. He just shrugged and walked to his desk.
“Y/n what happened on this test? Are you okay?” It’s lunch and Korosensei called y/n to the faculty room to discuss the most recent test. Turns out Y/n’s test score were lower than her usual grades.
“It’s fine Korosensei, I’m just tired that’s all.” That’s beyond bullshitting if anyone knew what was really happening. What Karma said got to her. She was aware that she does eat a lot, but was it that obvious? On top of that, her parents were getting more strict than usual. They were disappointed to see their daughter drop to the end-class, so she tried her hardest to make them happy again. Even though it meant countless of nights where she gets no sleep at all and is busy studying.
When she walks back into the classroom, Karma appears right in front of her.
“Ehh Y/n you are stupid, were you just cheating on the other tests?” He laughs at her face, his laughter dies down. All he sees in her eyes was fear.
‘Oh no what are mom and dad going to say now?’
She ignores him and sits at her desk. Y/n quickly goes to pull out her books to go over of what was on the test. She was stopped when Hayami grabs her hand. Y/n flinched and pulled her hand close to her chest. Looking up to her pink haired friend.
“Y/n-Chan, why dont you eat lunch first?” Chiba asked. Almost everyone was listening in on the three friends’ conversation and saw how scared y/n was in that one second of interaction with Hayami.
“Oh I forgot my lunch today” She puts on a fake smile and scratches the back of her head. Everyone knew that was a lie. Staring death glares at Karma, the class knew what he said got to the poor girl. Isogai offers some food he got from the cafe but she quickly declines and say she’ll eat later on. Y/n excuses herself to the restroom leaving the class to themselves.
Terasaka’s gang holding him back from beating the red head. Nagisa proposes that the young girl is being abused at home. And much to the classes dismay, he was right.
Chiba and Hayami offered to walk Y/n home, but was quickly denied saying that she had errands to run and won’t be home till later. Clearly not believing this, the class followed her from a distance to see what was really happening. They knew it was wrong, but they couldn’t just sit around and witness the young girl get hurt. Even though Karma acted like he didn’t care, he was the most concerned out of all of them.
As she reached her doorstep, first thing, she was slapped right across the face. Sure to be leaving a mark.
“You disappointment son of a bitch, you said you were going to get your grades up and get back into class a!” Her mom screams right in her face. Tears streaming down Y/n’s face.
“I know I said that! But I like my class now and I wanna stay ther-” The class didn’t know what was happening but soon heard a glass bottle breaking.
“Don’t interrupt your mother when she’s speaking!”
“Yes Dad”
“Don’t call me that, a little stupid fat whore like you will never be my daughter.” The whole class silently turns to look at Karma only to see that he is gone.
“Who the hell are you?!” They quickly whip their heads to see Y/n pulled into a protective embrace from Karma. Karma holding a knife close to penetrating her dad’s stomach. Before Karma does anything worse, Korosensei cuts in and holds both parents with his tentacles waiting for the police to arrive. Y/n clings to Karma feeling safe in his arms. He carries her like a bride and walks away.
“Karma! Where you going?” Nagisa calls out.
“Away from this shithole” He says over his shoulder trying not to wake the now sleeping girl. Karma brings the girl back to his place, knowing his parents are overseas. He places her in his bed and tends to the shards of glass that got on a few spots of her skin. He then grabs a cold cloth and wipes her face to wash her dried tears. Slowly he feels himself tear up.
He wouldn’t have taken it this far with the teasing. But seeing her reaction made it hard for him to stop. Karma tucks her under the covers comfortably. He leans down to kiss her forehead, at this point his tears start falling uncontrollably.
“Karma?” He quickly jumps away and sees the girl awake. She sits up and sees Karma’s tear stained face. Her heart breaks seeing this. She opens her arms waiting for him to walk into them. He takes her offer sitting in the edge of the bed and hugs her waist tightly. “Are you okay Karma?” She asked giggling while running her fingers through his red hair.
“Shouldn’t I be asking you that idiot?” He picks his head up. Now they are looking eye to eye, she smiles and blushes. Him doing the same, as she brings a hand to his cheek and brushing her thumb against his cheekbones. She pulls his face forward and places a peck on his lips. Tears start flowing down her face.
“As long as you’re okay I’m okay” He feels his own eyes getting wet. He quickly pushes his lips onto hers, causing them to both fall on the bed. Her laughs rings through his ears as she starts kissing back. They separate to breathe and she pulls him to lay in the bed with her fully. Pulling the covers over both of them and laying on his chest, she sighs in content.
“Goodnight Karma”
“It’s still light out-”
“Shh shh shh” she presses her finger to his lips to stop him from finishing that statement.
“Goodnight Y/n” He kisses her temple as their breathing falls in rhythm and sleep in each other’s arms.
BONUS
“O- HAI- YOOO” Y/n bursts through the doors with a grumpy Karma following behind. Everyone rushed up to her seeing the hand mark on her face knowing the reason behind it. The commotion was paused when they saw Karma and Y/n’s hand interlocked.
“WHATTTYTT!!!!”
All the girl does in response is raise up a peace sign and sticking out a tongue, nudging her boyfriend to do the same.
*click click* Karma turns red seeing that Rio has taken pictures of what he just did and runs after the girl to delete it (or to send it to him first then delete it). Y/n and the rest of the class sweat drops seeing the red head run around psychoticlly.

Satori Tendou + “Can’t take my eyes off of you”
This is the 8th Oneshot for the Valentines Day 2021 Event thank you so much for requesting! I’ve never written for him before so i’m excited! This one also ended up reaaallly long h e h e
**For context f/c= Favorite color~n/n= Nickname**
Character: Tendou x reader
Tumblr media
“Ugh. Satori I sWEAR if you’re lying-” He waved his hand in the air as a goofy smile came onto his face. “Now, N/n~” You deadpanned at the nickname he used. “When have I ever lied to you?” You held up a fist and raised a finger with ever point you brought up, “Hmm let’s see...1st grade you said it was Akemi who took my chocolate when it was you, Ooh! In 3rd grade you-” He rolled his eyes, “I meant seriously lied to you dummy~” You shook your head as you smiled, “Almost never..”
Ignoring the ‘almost’ he stood up from your bed, sauntering over to where you stood in front of the mirror, dressed in the gorgeous f/c dress you had picked to wear for your last prom (seeing as you and Tendou were both 3rd years). “Satori....” His crimson eyes met yours in the mirror, “...Do you think Sugino is going to..you know...” Your worried e/c eyes looked back to yourself in the mirror, eyes raking over every inch of your appearance.
Tendou forced a smile on his face, pushing the feelings of sadness deep, deep down so you wouldn’t see. “He will...if he doesn’t he’s a real idiot to not see how-” His eyes slightly widened as he stopped himself. You turned towards him, eyebrow raised in questioning “Not see...what?” He nervously laughed as he ran a hand through his red hair giving you a closed eye smile, less for effect and more to avoid having to look you in the eye.
“To not see your sparkling personality of course!” His eyes reopened as you playfully slapped his shoulder, “Whatever...” You laughed, smiling as you looked at him. “Okay, not out you go! I need to finish getting ready and YOU need to get dressed!” He laughed and put his arms up in defence as you swatted him out of your dorm. He then returned back to his and Ushijima’s shared dorm where he got dressed. “Did you tell her?”
Tendou looked up from where he sat tying his shiny dress shoes, Ushijima looking at him with a questioning gaze. Tendou sighed, he finished tying his shoes before he stood up, hands going into the pockets of his black dress pants. “...no. I couldn’t...” Ushijima hummed before he slipped on his suit jacket, preparing to exit the dorm room. “For what it’s worth,” He paused to look at Tendou, sympathy in his olive green eyes “I think it’d be worthwhile to tell her you have feelings for her.”
Tendou looked down with a sad expression on his face. “I know but...she likes Sugino..there’s not really a point if she’s going to have to reject me..” Ushijima nodded, opening the door. He paused before he could exit, opening his mouth to say something. Tendou put his hand up shaking his head while he smiled at the ace. Ushijima just slightly nodded his head before fully exiting the room Tendou doing the same after a deep breath.
You and Tendou had known each other since pre-school and had been best friends ever since. You had been through just about everything together, the highs, the lows, and everything in between. And when you had both gotten into Shiratorizawa (him for volleyball you for band ~you can choose the instrument~) your friendship had remained; except he had caught feelings for you. Feelings you were oblivious to.
Ignoring the thoughts running through his head he caught up with Ushijima and the two headed to meet up with the rest of the volleyball team. On the way to the gym from Semi’s dorm (that had been the meeting place) the team stopped at your dorm to pick you up, since your ‘date’ claimed he wouldn’t be able to. Oh yes, Tomohito Sugino one of the school’s most popular heart throbs and Vice-captain of the soccer team. You had had a crush on him for just over 2 years now, constantly ranting and gushing to Tendou...who just so happened to have a crush on you.
Just about 2 weeks ago Sugino had asked Y/n to prom as his ‘date’, you of course accepted. Tendou knocked on your door, the unique little tune he only used for you. About 23 seconds later you opened the door, you hair and make up were all done and you had your favorite handbag clutched in your hand. Tendou’s eyes widened as he felt the heat creep up his neck. He slightly chuckled to mask how flustered he was feeling as he stepped to the side.
“You clean up nice.” He snapped his gaze towards your direction, his cheeks heating up at the compliment. “A-ah. *ahem* thank you...you look...” He motioned with his hand to you, usually pale cheeks tinted with a red hue. “Ridiculous? I kinda feel that way...” Tendou shook his head, “No..you look stunning.” You felt your face get hot at his words. Years ago, years being the end of middle school and the first year of high school you had realized you had fallen for your best friend. But you were so convinced that he didn’t love you back so you buried your feelings, eventually finding interest in Sugino...that didn’t mean those feelings were gone though.
“Uhm- ohmygosh your hair!! It-it looks nice...” Tendou snapped out of his daze, “Oh! Yeah..well you recommended that I slick it back, so I did..” You two stood there in silence, neither one knowing what to do about the new and different atmosphere that hung between you. “Uh...are you guys done..? Cause we’ve kinda got a dance to get to...” You and Tendou sort circuited as you both turned to face the rest of the team, some were at least trying to hide their smirks while others felt nothing but pleasure seeing the middle blocker blush.
The team made their way to the gym, laughing and goofing around as per usual. “Y/n!” You felt your heart rate increase as you slightly turned to see Sugino walking towards you, face neutral. “Hey, you ready to go in?” You turned towards him and smiled, smile wavering when he wore a different colored tie than the one you two had chosen. Deciding not to mention it you waved goodbye to the boys and went off with Sugino.
Tendou sighed as he watched you walk off, turning back to the boys and plastering a smile on his face. “Well? What are we waiting for? We are at a dance after all~” ignoring the yearning feeling he felt in his heart he led the team away off to a table.
*It is now 8, the dance has been going on for 2 hours and will go on for 3 more*
“Shirabu I swear I will kill you where you sit-” “And what would Kanna think of that? The she really wouldn’t want to dance with you.” “That’s it-” Reon nearly missed Semi’s collar as he pulled him away from the second year setter, sitting him back in his seat while Kawanishi snickered and Ushijima looked at the pair with disappointment. Tendou’s gaze remained on the table, his head propped up on the hand that his elbow was holding up while his other hand messed with the table decorations.
His attention was stolen from the confetti splayed on the plastic tablecloth by the group of girls that was headed towards the table. “Um...Semi? Would you like to dance?” Kanna (the girl Semi just so happened to be crushing on) asked the 3rd year, who after some time to recover and a slap from Kawanishi came to his senses and agreed. It was then Tendou realized that these girls (who were all pairing up with a guy to dance with ;) were from Y/n’s friend group.
Looking around Tendou noticed that you weren’t with them, which is strange since you had said earlier that you and Sugino would be with them all night...He got up and looked for your other bestie, Rei, who was talking with Reon. “Hey Rei..where’s Y/n and Sugino?” He noticed a shift in Rei’s expression, it was a mix of sympathy and straight up anger. She pointed to a table behind her. Tendou looked over her shoulder to see you, and only you, sitting by yourself at one of the tables.
“Sugino ditched about 20 minutes into the dance...Last time I saw him he was busy shoving his tongue down another girls throat.” Reon rubbed comforting circles on her back as she took a deep breath trying to calm down. “Listen...I’m saying this as her friend and yours...go over there. And ask her to dance,” Tendou opened her mouth to speak but the brunette cut him off, “She will say yes, just ask. Use your Tendou Satori charm or something, I don’t know! Just ask!”
After contemplating it for a moment and getting encouragement from his teammates Tendou gave himself one last pep talk before he walked over to the DJ, asking him a question. You sat alone at your seat, head rested in your palm as you watched the other couples dance. You sighed as you returned your gaze to the maroon colored table cloth, lightly picking at it with your manicured nails. *Ahem* You looked up at the person who had tried to get your attention, eyes slightly narrowing in curiosity when you saw it was Tendou.
“Satori..? What are you doing here? I thought you were with the boys.” He shook his head as he held out his hand, slightly bowing while doing so. Regardless; you took his hand and allowed him to help you stand. When you stood he started to lead you to the dance floor. “How come you knew where to find me anyways?” His face turned to one of irritation. “When your friends came over to collect mine, Rei told me what ‘he’ did...So, I came to collect you.”
Your eyes widened as his hand squeezed yours. You, too stunned and nervous to talk, let him lead you to the dance floor. Right as you entered the space the song Tendou had requested started playing, you immediately recognizing it. He brought you close to him, one arm wrapped around your waist and the other hand gently holding yours.
As the song started to play, he began to sing along, dancing becoming more and more goofy, but all the more memorable and sweet. Your laughter rang through the air as he spun you, extending his arm as he flung you to the side, only to roll you back into his chest, swaying and spinning you as the song went on.
“Pardon the way that I stare, There's nothin' else to compare, The sight of you leaves me weak, There are no words left to speak, But if you feel like I feel, Please let me know that it's real, You're just too good to be true, Can't take my eyes off of you”
His eyes never left yours as he sung this to you, your heart rate steadily picking up its pace as he continued to twirl you around the floor. As the song slowed so did he, his movements less sporadic and more intentional, hi grip on you firm and reassuring, and his eyes showing only honesty and sincerity.
“I love you, baby“
He paused singing after that, red eyes looking- searching yours, hands never leaving you as he continued to dance. You didn’t know what to do...other than to continue dancing with the man of your dreams.
“Now that I've found you, stay And let me love you, baby Let me love you..”
He once again drifted off, bringing the hand he was holding to his lips to kiss it, Eyes closing briefly in bliss before he reopened them, showing determination and something else- “Y/n.” You gulped a bit before you weakly nodded. He smiled, his ever so charming, ever so him smile that never failed to make the blood rush to your face. He leaned in close to your ear, chuckling lightly before he spoke, “I meant what I said...or rather..sang.”
As soon as he pulled away you looked at him searching his expression for any hint that he was joking...there was nothing there except love. Without giving it a second thought you pulled his hand towards you and hugged him tight, “...I love you too Satori...I love you so much!” He smiled as he pulled you against him even tighter, kissing the top of your head as he sighed in bliss. “So...” You laughed, “So...” He nuzzled into you as he continued to sway you both to the song.
“Does this mean you’re my girlfriend now~” You shook your head, “You never asked.” He scoffed as he pulled away, “Fine then. Y/n L/n, love of my life, stars to my night, peaches to my cream~ Will you do me the oh so glorious honor of becoming my beloved?” You tried to stop your laughter as you nodded, returning your head to the crook of his neck as you smiled, “It would be my pleasure.”
“You're just too good to be true, Can't take my eyes off of you, You'd be like Heaven to touch, I wanna hold you so much, At long last, love has arrived And thank God I'm alive, You're just too good to be true, Can't take my eyes off you”

Now, you never expect to get pulled into the E Class antics, even though you weren’t in E Class but Sugino seemed to trust you to help them and not tell anyone else about Korosensei. But one of the few things you noticed every time you visited E Class, it was the way Sugino looked at Kanzaki. He never looked at you like that. You wished he did though, but you were merely reduced to his childhood friend and that was all you could be.
You couldn’t spend as much time with him since he was in E Class and you were in A Class, not to mention you were the vice president, so you were always busy either way. The only time you could spend time with him was after school but sometimes he would get caught up with his E Class friends. In a way, you resented E Class but he looked so happy with everyone, how could you be mad?
You had even made some friends with E Class and that made you more frustrated because they were so nice. You had even met Kanzaki and she was so nice to you. You could see why he liked her so much. You wanted to be mad at her for stealing your chances with your best friend but you couldn’t bring yourself to get angry. You figured it would never happen anyways.
It’s after school right now. You were mostly waiting for Sugino as you usually walked home with me. You avoid the eyes of your classmates as you plug your headphones into your phone, putting on your headphones in the process. You play one of your songs in your playlist and of course it had to be the one you related to pretty well.
You were out of my league Got my heartbeat racing If I die don't wake me 'Cause you are more than just a dream
You’re muttering the lyrics under your breath and you’re so focused on it, you don’t even realize that Sugino has arrived.
“Hey y/n-chan!” You nearly jump before greeting him with a small smile. “What song are you listening to? Can I listen?” You nodded, giving him an earbud to listen. You can feel your heart racing just a little bit when your hand brushes against his as you both walk to the neighborhood you lived him.
As you both listened to the song, he had started to ramble about E Class. There was a few things you didn’t understand which only worsened that jealous feeling in your heart. You felt left out. How much were you missing? How much do you not know when it comes to Sugino? What else do they do in that class? You felt like the friend that was only there for the sake of being there.
Finally you arrive home, Sugino bids you goodbye as you do the same to him. Walking to your room, you go to your desk to start studying like usual. But of course it was hard when you keep thinking about your best friend and his liking to Kanzaki. There’s a wretched feeling in your heart as you continue to think, no, believe, that he would love Kanzaki and you would still be named, “Sugino’s childhood friend.” But maybe you would settle for that. He never really showed any signs that he liked you that way you liked him, he never said anything that would be a sign as well. You can feel yourself losing hope.
The next day comes by and you’re called by E Class for your assistance with a plan. It was a plan they would execute when they would go on the trip to Okinawa. You had to help perfect it along with Ritsu. While you did that with Ritsu, you listened to the conversations around you. More specifically the conversation with Nagisa, Karma and Sugino.
“When are you gonna confess to her?”
“I don’t know yet really...” You glance and see that Sugino’s face is pink with embarrassment.
“You should do it soon, we only have so much time left.” Karma referred to the fact that the world might just blow up. “If we’re gonna be dead soon, might as well do the things we would never do.” He comments. You start to tune everyone else out, only listening to Ritsu and others who were helping perfect the plan. Unbeknownst to you, your best friend has been looking at you after you tuned everything else out.
Days pass by and the only thing that’s been in your mind was who Sugino was gonna confess to. You automatically assumed it would be Kanzaki but there was no signs that he had confessed to her. It’s after school once again and you’re about to walk home with Sugino. You’re more deep in thought than usual and your best friend notices.
“You okay, y/n-chan?” He asks you.
“Yeah, just really in thought.” You’re quiet for a moment. “Do you like Kanzaki-san?” You asked. Might as well rip it off like a bandaid at this point. You tell yourself.
“What do you mean?”
“Do you like her as more than a friend?”
“What made you get that idea?”
You’re quiet, gathering your thoughts to respond to him. “You don’t look at her the way you look at me, you seem to be brighter around her.” Your voice is soft but he can hear you loud and clear. “You just seem happier around her.”
“That’s not true! I like you, y/n!” You look at him in disbelief and shock.
“You like me?”
“I’ve always liked you!” He said with a soft smile. “Do you like me too?”
“Of course I do.” You hit him on the head lightly while he laughs. “I really thought you liked Kanzaki-san...” You muttered. “I felt left out for a while.”
“Well, I’m here for you now.” He smiled brightly, his hand moving towards yours to hold it.

Sunflowers
Pairing: Sugino x Nagisa
“Hey, Sugino,” Nagisa called out as he jogged towards the dark-haired boy, who was on his way to the classroom.
“Oh, hey Nagisa. How have you been?” Sugino smiled, but Nagisa – being the incredible people reader he was – could easily detect the sadness that his best friend was attempting to mask. He couldn’t blame him for being upset and trying to hide it since he was there when Shindo had all but challenged 3-E’s resident baseball enthusiast, taunting him and reminding them that although they were training to be hardcore killers, they were still seen as the school outcasts, worse than the lowest of the low. It deeply saddened Nagisa to find Sugino sound so dejected during class, for him to speak of his passion with a hopeless sense of defeat instead of the usual bright-eyed zeal that he displayed during their pitching practices after school – but then, just when the class thought that the fire that Sugino had for baseball had started to die out, the boy had lifted his head with determination and the flames that kindled his love for his favourite sport had reignited into a blazing inferno as he declared that he was not going to back down against the baseball team captain. However, as confident as his speech to their class was, it was clear that he still had a lot of doubts and insecurities about his own abilities as a sportsman, having previously played alongside their opponents, but he still went to their training lesson with a smile because as their expert on the game, he considered it his duty to keep morale up and not let his fears show.
“I’m fine thanks for asking,” Nagisa responded with a grin, as he shifted his arms behind his back, out of Sugino’s view, “so you ready for another day of baseball training?”
“As I’ll ever be,” Sugino huffed, but the corner of his lips had tilted upwards, “I’m excited to play but I’m also terrified to find out what Coach Koro has in store for us this time.”
“Yeah, Koro-Sensei does get really into character when he roleplays.”
“Hey Nagisa,” Sugino furrowed his eyebrows in confusion as he pointed towards the shorter male, “what’s that you got behind your back?”
Nagisa smiled and blushed, looking away as he replied, “just a present for you.”
“For me? Why? What is it?”
The light pink that had spread across Nagisa’s cheeks had darkened and the bluenette timidly held out a small bouquet of bright golden sunflowers, tied together with a thin yellow ribbon. Sugino just stared at them for a beat before feeling his own face heat up. Taking a glance at the other boy’s bashful expression – that was looking at the sidewalk beneath his feet like it held the secrets of the universe – he breathed out, “they’re lovely.”
Nagisa’s head whipped up to display his pleasantly surprised countenance, “you think so?”
“Yeah,” he tried to look reassuring despite his reddened face, “they look beautiful but - not that I don’t appreciate them or anything – what’s the occasion.”
“I pass by the florists on my way to meet up with you and they caught my attention,” was the soft reply, “I asked the lady at the desk and she told me that sunflowers can bring good luck and that they symbolise adoration and loyalty and I thought that maybe you could use a reminder.”
“A reminder?” Sugino asked in confusion, choosing not to look too much into the fact that Nagisa brought up adoration, “for what?”
“So that you know that you have nothing to worry about,” Nagisa smiled, “I know that you’re trying hard to prove yourself to Shindo and the other baseball cub members and even to yourself but even on the off-chance you fail – which will most definitely not happen by the way – we’re all here for you. Unlike the kid back at main campus, our loyalty to you isn’t dependant on your grades or how useful you are – we all admire and respect you not just because you’re an expert at baseball but because you’re our classmate and our friend and my best friend. You’ve always been a loyal friend to me and I want to show you how much I appreciate it. Sunflowers may be able to bring good luck, but I know that having you by our side, telling us what to do, we’ll beat the baseball club with our heads held high by our skill alone. Besides, sunflowers just look like really happy flowers and I thought with all of those things Shindo said to you, you could use a bit of extra happiness.”
Sugino stared at the by in front of him with his eyes brimming with tears, completely and utterly touched by his kind words, thinking what on earth had he done to deserve a friend as absolutely amazing as Shiota Nagisa. Belatedly, he realised that he had yet to accept the bunch of flowers that the other was still holding out in front of him so he carefully took them and gently placed them inside his school bag before turning to his twin-tailled peer, “thank you, Nagisa. Seriously. This is one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me. Like, no one’s ever given me flowers before.”
“It’s what you deserve,” Nagisa said, “now come on, let’s get to class. We’ve got a lot to learn before we crush your former team next week.”
