this is it. unit 6 of the apartment building the photographer’s manager had directed you to.

this is actually pretty surreal to you. you’re meeting up with world renowned photographer, jung wooyoung. he’s known for photographing celebrities but he hasn’t done that in quite some time.

he’s shifted his expertise to boudoir photography for up and coming models. you just so happen to be one of those models.

but, you’re not really here to make a name for yourself in the modeling industry. you’re really here to just meet wooyoung. you’ve heard… things from other models in your company. things about how their sessions escalated to technically unprofessional events.

now, of course you’re not here to try and lose your career. but you want some proof towards the rumors of wooyoung’s skills.

and size.

you knock on the door. four times. you hear some shuffling behind the door before a beautiful man opens the door. the wind is almost knocked out of you when he opens the door.

“y/n?” you nod, holding out your hand for a handshake. “you must be mr. jung” you smile. “please, call me wooyoung. this is only a mildly professional environment” he steps out of the way, ushering you into his apartment.

you move to take your red heels off but wooyoung placed his hand on your shoulder. “i think those heels will suit a set of lingerie i have” he says, his voice sounding silky smoothing. he sounds like honey in your head. you nod, leaving your heels on.

you shimmy your coat off and put it on a hanger. he hands you a lacy, shimmery set of red lingerie. he was right, your heels do suit this set. “you can go put it on in the room down the hall. that’s my make-shift dressing room for models.”

you walk down the hall and walk into the room. you close the door behind you and make sure to lock it. yes, you’re partially here to get laid but you’d like to be consensually naked in front of him rather than because you’re being watched.

“oh, you’re ready?” wooyoung says, finally noticing your presence in the room. you nod, sudden nerves hitting you. “the set fits perfectly” you smile. “i followed the exact measurements you sent me. i would hope it fit” he laughs lightheartedly.

you walk further into the room, walking over to the section of the room with the backdrop. you examine the props that he prepared for you. they’re quite interesting to look at. they really suit everything you’re already wearing.

“are you ready to get on with the shoot, y/n?” his voice breaks the silence so suddenly that you jump a little. “yes, i’m ready” you remove your robe and stand in front of the ripped up mattress.

“how do you want me first?” you break his longing gaze on your body. “on your stomach, head in your hands, legs up behind you” he explains. getting into seductive positioning immediately was expected.

“You have some toothpaste on your lips, unnie.” Hanuel giggled, pointing at the woman who had entered the kitchen connected to the living room. “You’re such a messy brusher!” She taunted, laughing as she tuned out the cartoon playing loudly on her iPad.

Solji snickered, wiping the white paste off the corner of her mouth with her index finger before sucking on it. “Yeah,” she looked at Sunmi who hid a grin behind her hand, “i forget what i’m doing sometimes and get it everywhere.” She chuckles as Jongdae walked into the kitchen behind her. He winked at her, lightly tapping her behind as he went past.

Sunmi grimaced mockingly as she stared out of the large window, her face resting against her open palm. The penthouse was high above the settlement of the city of Seoul, curtesy of being two famous and well-looked-out-for entrepreneurs. They traveled quite a lot, having fun with one another while doing their job and Sunmi was left rest assured of her daughter’s situation as Jongdae took care of her whenever they went on trips across the globe. The day before they had arrived back in South Korea after touring Dubai, a beautiful wealthy country where the rich were kept well fed due to the oil percentages underneath their grounds, Sunmi had finally realised how much she travelled for work, but not herself. It really changed her prospective on her life in general.

A bored hum left her pink lips as the corners of her mouth twitched downward. The life she lived was prosperous, beautiful, full of good times, and hardships (leaving her sister behind, not staying in one place for long — besides for vacation or relaxation time — and so on), but there were faults in this life she lived that she couldn’t press her perfectly, recently manicured nails (done up in Dubai, of course — nothing like self-care to bring her spirits up) on. She craved an adventure, something more than this schedule she had; it was almost like her life was a chore, not a life.

Seol Sunmi needed a change, and quick.

“Noona, we should get a ferret.”

Not that kind of change.

An idea popped up in her head as she looked at the two adults conversing in the kitchen, smiles and small, short laughter shared between the two. Sunmi glanced at her daughter, who’s doe eyes were entranced by the flashing colours and squeaky voices of the characters on the small screen of her iPad in front of her.

She smirked, eyes darting between her best friend and her boyfriend.

“Hey, Hannie,” Sunmi grinned, gazing down at the small girl who stared up at her, “You wanna go on an adventure?”

Hanuel jumped up, her mother grabbing the iPad before it could drop to the floor, and chanted. “Adventure! Adventure! Adventure!” She shrieked in delight.

Solji gave the girl a look, whereas Jongdae made eye contact with Sunmi, who raised her eyebrows as she motioned to Solji with her eyes. He huffed.

Yeah, and an interesting adventure it will be.

the new aespa album is sooo good!! i think salty & sweet should've been the title track tho. it aligns better with their previous title tracks releases & it's punchier than spicy. salty & sweet was previewed for their concert, so i understand what it could've been underwhelming to make an already heard song the promotional track. it is the better song tho. the whole album concept is quite fun!! way livelier than anything they have released previously, a little raunchier too, just tiny tiny bit. i like it. but tbh it now that i've had some time to sit on it, it is a bit derivative. & not even of the concepts trending in k-pop right now, it's more so in line with what trended last year & the year before. it feels more in line with sunmi's you can't sit with us & somi's dumb dumb. massive hits in their own rights, but not at all what aespa has been doing until now. the avatars are gone too.. idk how to feel about it... but it does feel like a bit of an uncertain time for aespa concept-wise. i hope this doesn't mark a complete departure from their previous concept but rather a dip of the toe into a different one bc their avatar / ai / cyber-futuristic concept was very much what set them apart & gave them an edge from competing groups in k-pop. i really liked that they had this bright & optimistic take into the cyber-punk concept instead of it being bleak & apocalyptic, hope we get back to that for the next one
