After their intense battle with SuperDimentio and winning. Saving realm and successfully rescue Luigi. Mario, Princess Peach, and Bowser, they returned to Flip Town. However, something seemed amiss with Luigi. He was plagued with doubts and disbelief, convinced that Mr. L had completely taken over his identity. His inner turmoil pushed him to the brink of destroying multiple worlds. Overwhelmed by panic, Luigi felt the urgent need to escape and hide before Mario could catch a glimpse of him.

Running aimlessly through the town, Luigi's body grew weary, yet he couldn't bring himself to stop. The frantic echoes of people calling his name filled the air, but he disregarded them, feeling an uncontrollable urge to keep running. Eventually, his physical state could no longer withstand the strain, and he sought refuge in a dark alley, desperately trying to calm his racing mind.

Luigi's thoughts told him he needed to continue running and conceal himself from Mario, as he now saw himself as a villain. In his tortured mindset, he believed he had lost everything - his home, his friends, and his family. From a distance, he could hear Mario's voice calling out to him, but he refused to answer, instead starting to run again in a desperate attempt to escape.

Unfortunately, his body couldn't carry him very far. The dizziness that had been haunting him grew stronger, overpowering his senses until he finally succumbed, losing consciousness in that secluded alley.

Mario and Peach stumbled upon Luigi lying unconscious in an alley, his complexion pale and sickly. Mario couldn't help but worry why his brother had run away from them and ended up in such a state. They hurriedly returned to the Mushroom Kingdom, where Mario took Luigi home and placed him in bed. Mario sat next to him, anxiously waiting for his brother to wake up.

After several hours, Luigi finally opened his eyes, feeling a bit dizzy. As he looked around, he saw Mario sleeping beside him. Memories of the events of the past couple of weeks flooded back to Luigi's mind. He knew he had to face the consequences of his actions. Waking Mario up, Luigi confessed his guilt and expressed his readiness to go to prison.

Mario was dumbfounded by Luigi's statement and couldn't understand why his brother believed he needed to be imprisoned. He reassured Luigi that he hadn't done anything evil and questioned why he would willingly go away. Luigi insisted that he had been responsible for nearly destroying the realm as Mr. L and needed to distance himself from everyone, including Mario. He didn't want pity, just solitude.

Mario's heart broke hearing his brother's words. He couldn't simply let Luigi go and hugged him tightly, saying that he wasn't at fault. Mario reminded Luigi that he had been under mind control and that during the battle with Super Dimentio, he had almost lost him. Luigi wasn't a bad guy; someone had manipulated him as a tool to try and take over the world.

Mario didn't want to let go of Luigi, but his brother insisted that he was too weak to move and drained of power. Luigi reassured Mario that he wasn't going anywhere for now. He needed rest to regain his strength and promised to talk later. Mario reluctantly agreed, knowing that Luigi needed time to recover physically and emotionally.

And so, Mario left Luigi's side to get some much-needed rest, hoping that his brother would soon realize that he wasn't alone in this and that they would face whatever challenges lay ahead together.
