1: definitely was a practical, keeping-warm choice and i'm sure the intention was to have the ensemble pass as a plain, short sleeved tee but a fun little thing anyway:

2: steve wears a technically-modern version of the classic Member's Only but the differences are entirely cosmetic and superficial, like zipper lengths and metal colouring. the fit is the same! notably, he wears the silver-grey model and not the standard grey.

3: assumedly the red striped dickey piece and undershirt are one in the same. behind the scenes footage shows both, and occasionally joe seems to not be wearing the undershirt... ? 😭 usually sailor style shirts and costumes use a dickey piece for convenience as it ties in more uniformly than just a tee-shirt sitting underneath it's like schrodinger's striped shirt here

4: the same jacket he wears in season 4! notably, the tag is left blank, most likely because it isn't a statement piece unlike in season 4. note the ring pull collar, black pocket button detailing and the visible black zipper that points towards the Carrera design:

8: for some reason the Quiksilver x Stranger Thing's "The Steve" pants are actually an almost… 95%? exact recreation of the pants he wears in-show. and like, despite being listed as a collab with the wardrobe dep this is the first time i've seen any sort of replica clothing for something like a random character's pants but it's cool! there may be a little variation in the exact patterning but even to my super perfectionist eye they do seem identical/highly similar :). i belieeeeve what would have happened is the wardrobe made the pants, and Quiksilver received the design to then streamline for their own version. the Quiksilver version has printed pocket linings including the welt of the back pocket, whilst the on screen version are unprinted except for the hem.

Things i’ve manifested #back to school edition

Because YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!! 🫵🏼

1. Moneyy

Context; last week I went thrifting and I was so ashamed cuz I didn’t have much money left, I was feeling restricted with shopping and there was still some things I wanted to buy for my back to school then I said in the store out of nowhere « of course I have money wtf, I am a money magnet » while going on with this belief and forgetting about it, then my mom’s friend came and because it was his last day he said « I didn’t gave you a present in your birthday, here 50$ (50€ cuz I’m European but I think it’s practically the same)

2. Money again ?

So I was happy that I finally have money again but I knew it wasn’t enough for the things I needed for school and the new pair of shoes I wanted cuz I basically have just one pair of sneaker and one other for P.E , the rest is like a pair of mary janes, platform boots , and flats with a small heel (also manifested <3)…

Anyway, I affirmed « don’t worry you already have all you need » then I forgot about it because I went to sleep and when I woke my mom said « I made a budget of 250 $ for your back to school I’ll take you out tomorrow, like this you can buy the things and there will have some money left for the shoes you wanted » my jaw literally dropped…

3. Makeup!!

So I absolutely wanted the KIKO glosses especially the shade 44 and the 16 or 22 and a new navy blue mascara and a normal one.

Today my mom took me out and I bought the KIKO glosses I didn’t find the shade 44 but in the back of my head I was always like « it would be cool if they had the shade 44 with the silver packaging » and I only realize now that I got almost the same shade in a silver packaging and ofc got the shade 16, I also found in another store the two mascara colors I wanted for the price of the one I wanted so I’m happy !

4. Shoes !!!

The shoes I wanted were the adidas superstar XLG in light pink but it was sooo hard to find them on the internet and the price would go over my budget so I went in a store and the guy said it was a limited edition and it was probably too late if I wanted them but I didn’t mind cuz the first I wanted were the OG black and I found them on the internet with my SIZE and less pricey !!

I can’t wait to receive them!!!

Just to say YOU CAN DO IT TOO POOKIE!!

And if it’s not exactly what you wanted it’s something better and maybe for it to be something even better after !

Based on a request by @wordmaster5000, here's a bunch of clothes for alternative AF and TF sims.

Specific credits under the cut but right off the bat, many thanks to @skulldilocks, @andrevasims and Aikea Guinea for their textures, they really make the set.

Full swatches and details below.

Everything is categorized as everyday and has a fat morph. The full-body outfits have preg morphs for AF and TF, the separates have preg morphs for AF only. You have the option for the TF recolors to be repo'd to the AF ones.

4. Andreva Baggy Hoodie Knee-High Converse outfit

Poly count: 3,597.

@andrevasims's Emo Hoodies paired with Nintendolover13's 3t2 conversion of HL7402's Converse Knee-Highs. I reshaped the hoodie mesh, especially the fat & preg morphs (smoothed it all out, slimmed it down), and edited most of the textures to tidy up the skirt cap. Tight textures are from here (1-10) and here (11).

5. Aikea Cuffed Pants Low Chucks

Poly count: 4,284.

These Aikea Guinea pants (and these textures) with the sneakers swapped for @alwayssims2's conversion of Semller's Low Chucks.

CatOfEvilGenius added morphs to these pants here so it's their mesh that I took as a base, though I made the fat morph chunkier to be closer to the Maxis fat morph and fixed the waist alignment on the preg morph.

The shoe textures are in the meshes.
